Looks like Corner Bar needs a recent review. From my understanding, it recently reopened. In town…read morefor work with a coworker and wanted a burger and cold beer. Local friend directed us to the Corner Bar. I travel a lot for work and eat a lot of different places across the country, but it's hard to beat a good burger. The Corner Bar exceeded any expectations I had. Clean establishment and excellent service from the Bartender, Hannah. Burger and fries were excellent and the spicy margarita was very good as well. Quality ingredients and you could tell they are taking pride in the food served, evidenced by the Corner Bar branding on the bun...nice touch. Typical bar menu but still plenty of choices. Only improvement I could recommend is a frosted mug for beer, but it's still 5 stars for me.

When you're in Bradford, PA there isn't much going on, especially on a Sunday in October. There is…read morea big sign on the door when you walk in saying masks are required. There is also an adjacent parking lot. When we walked in, there were a few tables, and there were no barstools at the bar. It was the perfect night to sit outside, so that's what we opted to do. We were trying to be as socially distanced as possible. We asked the bartender what he would recommend and he said the chicken fingers and a burger. That's what we went with, chicken fingers, an order of fries, and the British Burger without cheese. The burger contained bacon and barbecue sauce. I asked for it medium, and it was medium well. It was tasty though. It was served with chips. I live in Buffalo. Would I go there again if I were in the area? Yes. Would I make the 1.5 hour drive to go there for dinner and drinks? No. They are open until 2am, and they have an extensive menu.

We visited this establishment on Saturday, September 21st on a return trip to my hometown…read more The bartender that was working that evening, although wearing a dress shirt and appearing to be a manager, was the most rude bartender that I have ever encountered in the time that I have been frequenting bars. He did not seem to care about any of the patrons, just about rushing them all out! I ordered two pitchers of Bud Light and my boyfriend ordered two "Red Bull" and vodkas which turned out to be made with an energy drink that is not even Red Bull. As the bar emptied out, the bartender never called last call and/or advised us that he was closing, he simply closed out our credit card and brought it over for us to sign. I was appalled when receiving the bill that each "Red Bull" and vodka was priced at $8.50! To charge that price when using generic energy drinks is outrageous!!! We never intend to return to this establishment and discourage you from making the same mistake that we did!

I set my expectations somewhere north of Taco Cabana but well below a respectable full-service Mexican restaurant. I was very pleasantly surprised! So far, everything I've had on the menu has been good. The quesadilla had veggies in it, which seems less common but is for sure the correct way to make them. The enchiladas are good. The taquitos (flautas) are excellent. The fajita meat is nothing to write home about but the veggies and seasoning they are served in/with is really top notch. The best thing I've had here was the carnitas; highly recommend. The margaritas are too sweet unless you get the "skinny" rita. The beans are delicious but twice have been over-salted. Minor complaints, really. In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in town (very close w/ their neighbor-est restaurant being neck-and-neck w/ them though). Very happy to have them here and hope they stick around!
