He was exceptional with his customer service, getting me swatches, stitching options, etc. Had to wait over 2 months. Now I know why. When I showed up to pick it up, I was stunned with the quality, and the entire interior was transformed. The quality equaled OEM Porsche seats, and maybe better: mass produced seats have "perfect" stitching, which means automated/mass produced. When I went to put my winter storage cover on my boat this year, I noticed a few issues with the cover. I had to stop the installation and see if he could help on short notice. He was able to go over the cover and repair the rips that were starting, reinforced the areas that was needed and replaced the necessary snaps. He was able to turn this around really quick and the quality of work was spot on. It looks like new and you can not even tell where the repairs were made. They fixed my car promptly and at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend them for their quality, value, and service. From the first call to them to the moment I picked up my car they were awesome. On the initial call, I told them the make and model of my car and they said, "Oh, there is a tear in the left vinyl panel of the drivers seat." I said, "Right, but I opted for leather seats when I purchased my Subaru." They explained that with the leather option, Subaru only uses leather on the bottom section of the seat and the two side pieces are actually vinyl, and only a mid-quality vinyl at that. When I visited, they talked me through a few alternatives to replace the seat. The one I choose was an aftermarket product where the bottom and side pieces are leather (an upgrade from the OEM product) and the cost was less that the OEM product. You need to look very hard to see the difference between the OEM product of the passenger seat and the after market product of the driver seat. However, if you sit in the seats, then the difference is quite obvious. The driver seat is much softer and more comfortable. I am extremely glad that I found Delaware County Auto Upholstery!
