I am really grateful We found Total Leather Care On YELP! We recently had some cracks develop in The seat of our barberchair, from trying to sanitize The chair properly because of Covid. Nonetheless The chair became cracked & weathered unfortunately. So Chris was able to come out, give Us an estimate, mail us samples, then come back to the shop and take the seat cusion back to their Business for repair! I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars!! My leather seat in my car got scratched up a bit and I knew it would have to be fixed right away because I did not want to cause further damage. I first called the dealership where I purchased the car because I thought maybe I should just go with the people who "know what they're doing" (boy am I glad I'm a second opinion type of person). The price point they gave me was honestly ridiculous for the small scratch I had. So I asked if they knew of anyone else in the city who fixes car upholstery and the answer they gave me was expected but I still laugh thinking about it, they told me "no we are the only place that fixes car upholstery." HA! So I went on yelp and found Total Leather Care, called them, explained what was going on, they asked for pictures via email so I sent them over and the tech Chris called me back the next day and gave me a great quote that was very reasonable for the area that needed to be fixed. My husband contacted Total Leather Care to repair cushions on his office furniture. Quickly an office call was arranged, a repair strategy was determined, and the cushions were taken into the workshop. It was important to match the color, sheen, and grain of the material and within two weeks the cushions were returned looking like new! In this disposable world it is nice to know that furniture can be given new life. We were very impressed and my husband's assistant then decided some of her furniture could also use this expert craftsman to handle her repairs. The technician, Ray, came to my house and instantly diagnosed the problem. He then got right to work and fixed my couch in about an hour. He was the nicest, friendliest guy in the world and taught me a lot about leather care. He even let me sit in on the process and watch him work, and explained each step as he went on. We struck up a very friendly conversation. I cannot recommend this company enough. They do a GREAT job and are extremely nice and friendly. The owner, Chris, was such a nice guy as well. TLC is a miracle worker! Our living room sofa and chair are around 20 years old and did not hold up as we thought such an expensive set would. The leather had faded and was so worn looking that we were ready to purchase a new one. Luckily, I decided to search for options and found TLC online. They came to our home and gave us an estimate for bringing our leather back to its former beauty. The estimate was quite reasonable. While we had TLC at our home, we inquired about another set that we have in our game room: a sofa and love seat pair. That set had damage caused by frequent human and pet use. Again, the estimate quoted was most reasonable. TLC picked up the sets a few days later, and returned them within the promised time period. We had an expensive 12 year old Natuzzi light beige leather sectional that we had made and shipped from Italy and delivered to us. It was in near-perfect condition except that the leather on one of the seats was peeling. Chris drove over two hours to Delaware to look at it. We wanted the leather replaced, not touched up. They came back picked it up, reupholstered the leather and also touched up some rub marks elsewhere when it was returned. There is no way anyone can tell that the leather has been replaced. We have a thirty-year-old leather sectional sofa from The Leather Center which provides a tremendous amount of seating as there is a huge "piano" cushion at one end while the other end has a large chaise. We can easily seat ten adults comfortably for family gatherings. Three kids, a few small grandkids, and dogs later, we were at a crossroads as whether to repair our sofa again and not sacrifice giving up this beautiful piece of art, or buying something that was not as functional or spacious at 2019 prices. The frame was still in good condition. So, we called Total Leather Care again as they had made some small repairs years ago from kid and dog damage. Chris offered us several options, but we chose to reupholster all of the seating cushions as the back cushions were all in good condition. He was able to match the color and leather perfectly of the new cushions and firm up a few. We now have a new looking and beautiful leather sofa once again at a fair price. Total Leather Care deserves six stars! They are the best! I took in a 25 year-old Knoll leather daybed cushion that my dog, unbeknown to me, had been using as a launching pad. His claws deeply marked the leather to the point where I almost didn't bother to have it fixed. (I changed my mind when I saw how much a new Knoll Barcelona Daybed would cost.) They repaired and restored the cushion so that it looks like new. They are truly master craftsmen and the nicest people in the world to deal with. We have a 3-seater sofa that is part of a 3 piece leather set that was in dire need of repair. 2 of the leather seats were worn out. The set was pricey and the leather is heavy top grain pebbled. We called to schedule an appt. Joan was efficient and professional, and worked with our schedule. Chris came to our house and explained our options. We opted to re-upholster the 2 seats, but had to wait 6 months to line up the budget. When we were finally ready, Chris still honored the original amount. Pick up was quick and on time. I took my wife's purse to get repaired after our dog chewed one of the straps. We received a nice call a couple days later explaining the repair, which was just to cut off the chewed part and sew and smooth it out to make it look normal. Although the price was relatively reasonable, the work done was not very good. He did not smooth out what he cut off, it's rough and jagged. Additionally, the stitching is crooked. This was a poor job. I give him 2 stars only b/c you have to look at it closely to see the shoddy workmanship. She can still use the purse and it looks normal unless you know what you're looking for. The location isn't great because their driveway is a steep hill which bottomed out my car going very slow. Lastly, the ladies up front could use some cusomter service training. read more

I spent 3 weeks trying to get in contact with them when I finally dropped my leather item off they held it captive didn't look at it, call me, give me a diagnostic or estimate for about a weekweek.
