7 days doesn't mean 7 days, beware. Rented a 20 CU YD dumpster for 7 days. It was dropped off at 4 pm Friday and expected to use it until 4 pm the next Friday. But Friday morning at about 8:30 am it was picked up, while I had about 8 more hours of loading work. Called Dumpster Depot and manager said that 7 days doesn't mean 7 days and that they can pick it up at any time on that 7th day. Tried discussing the matter and manager said that I was unreasonable in believing that I rented the dumpster for 7 days. Had to rent another dumpster from someone else. read more

I rented a dumpster for a couple of weeks. When you're on the phone with them, pay attention to what they tell. They will not send out any kind of agreement. I was taken for over $400 on a final invoice. You have no way of knowing what the weight of what you put in the dumpster. read more

Initial delivery was prompt and on time. Dumpster collected excessive snow and rain over the course of the rental. When it was being picked up I asked if it continue to drain for a bit when it was tipped up so all the water came out. I was directly told it didn't matter and the waterlogged dumpster continued to load onto the truck. An hour later I receive a call stating an additional charge due to the weight. I explained, and despite what happened, I was told it wasn't in the company's control as the weight was determined by a third party company. They get charged, so they pass that cost onto the client - don't care what the story is. We have supported this local business for years, close friends and family have used this company, and I've rented twice within the last 9 months. Will be going in another direction moving forward over something that could have been avoided through routine customer service. read more

We have accumulated a ton of junk. We rented a 15 cubic yard dumpster from them so we could clean out our garage and porch. The quote for the dumpster was good. The delivery was quick and easy (I called Thursday morning and they were able to deliver it Friday afternoon). Pick up was just as easy. We were over the 1-Ton included weight (we expected we would be over). Since they charge only for the actual overage and do not round to the nearest ton, it was not an excessive amount. I used this business shortly before I moved to declutter a little bit, had no issues with the actual dumpster and pickup. Although I'm now 71 and retired, I wanted to speak with David Paul and thank him after the pickup, the secretary absolutely would not put him on the phone. She asked why I was calling I stated ide like to thank David for the work and she said what business are you calling from and asked for my name . I said I'm not calling from a business she says well then I can't put him on the phone. So basically if your retired and use this business they liekly won't help you, because you don't "have a business "... I was futher interrogated by her, im honeslty surprised she didn't ask for my social. This is my first and last time using dumpster depot. I've never experienced anything like this before. Management is rude and needs customer service training. They are quick to charge my credit card. They don't have my authorization for extra charges. I asked for a list of the things they were going to charge extra. They said they didn't have one. I had to call many times to ask what I can put in the dumpster without an extra charge. I have used them many times. They have always been great. They deliver where i want. They pick up rather quickly. I read other reviews and it leads me to offer some advice. If you are not familiar with dumpsters, dont order them often, then ask questions. Most customers are experienced so they do not know when you are not. It is an industry where you are not going to find much hand holding, so research first. Know how big you need, how long you need it and if you dont know how big, give them a list of what you have. If I could give this business less than one star, I would. This is truly the worst company I have EVER dealt with, MAYBE with the exception of Comcast. Their customer service is a whole new level of appalling. My condo complex hired these crooks to do our trash pickup twice per week, and in the past six months, they have completely skipped countless pickups and have tried to charge us for them. There is ALWAYS an excuse as to why they can't get the job done. One time, they said it was weather. It was raining. Not torrential downpours, just rain. And then there was construction on our street so they said they couldn't get in to our lot. Well, funny--the residents are able to get in an out and various different entrance points--why can't they? And trust me, we do not have a small driveway or anything that should have made it impassable. Almost three weeks ago, our trash pickup guy passed away, which was extremely awful and sad, but we have only had our trash picked up once since then. They claim there is no one else to pick it up. Trash is literally overflowing out of our dumpster. The residents at my complex are complaining to me, as I am on the condo board. Do yourself a favor and hire anyone else but these idiots. They will not get the job done, and they will come up with every excuse in the book to not do it. You get what you pay for; maybe they are a little cheaper, but what difference does it make if they're not doing what they are paid for? Moving to NH I needed a new dumpster company, Dumpster Depot seemed like a popular choice, after dealing with Linda, and the other women in the office I set up a delivery. Once filled, I scheduled a pick up, and confirmed on the day scheduled pickup that they would indeed be there to remove the dumpster, after assuring me that they would be there, they did not show and I waited days before picking up the dumpster. I then called to dispute a overweight fee and was told that if I did not pay they would be taking me to court for $140 and assess another fee of $175 for court fees, I of course don't have a day free to fight this in court and find myself paying the over weight fee. I have since contacted the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint only to find that they are not an accredited business. Look elsewhere. read more
