Aesthetics is only a small part of her knowledge base and she is amazing at what she does! I stopped by the MedSpa on a whim. It's right next door to my accountant's office, so I decided to check them out. I'm so glad I let curiosity get the best of me. Dr. Dana was at the front when I entered and I asked her if there were any treatment options for the dark circles under my eyes, which several dermatologists have told me was hereditary and "just a part of getting older". I had no appointment, but Dr. Dana immediately took me to the back to discuss my options. It was like my entire world opened up. There were so many treatment options available, including many that were topical and non-invasive. I was absolutely blown away. What I really appreciated is that she wasn't trying to sell me anything, but really just educate me and inform me so that I could decide what was best for me. She sat with me for about an hour (again, with no appointment) to put together a treatment plan and discuss next steps. Now when I say she's a wealth of knowledge, I can't overstate that. She has been incredibly proactive in recommending things that I didn't even know were available to me. Things that I didn't even ask her about. For example, we were casually talking about the weather and I was telling her how dry it was making my scalp. She was able to recommend a product to help me manage the dryness (something that my dermatologist never thought to do) and it has been an absolute game changer. During one of my treatments, I casually mentioned how tired I have been feeling after work and how I didn't have much energy at the end of the day. She could have just smiled and nodded, treating it like casual conversation, but instead she pulled that conversational thread to try to get to the root cause. She then offered some recommendations to try to help me get my energy back. What started as casual conversation ended with me feeling like a brand new person by the time I left the MedSpa. This place doesn't just rejuvenate my body, it rejuvenates my spirit. Everyone in there is just so kind, welcoming, and wonderful. It's really like being among friends. It's a place to relax, get away from the world for a little bit, indulge in some much-deserved self-care, as well as truly be cared for. I absolutely love Chesapeake Express IV…read more I've got POTS and I start to feel symptoms about two weeks in from my last IV. As such I'm getting fluids every two weeks or so, give or take. I am not an easy stick - case in point, I got stuck 5 times at my last Labcorp visit. My veins aren't the best. Fortunately Chesapeake has super skilled and kind staff who do amazing work. I've worked with several staff including Julie and Mike, as well as others. All have been professional and kind and are able to get a line in at least on the second shot. This is a huge blessing! I love the mobile services. They are quick and efficient and I feel much better when they're done. There was a little soreness afterwards but that's to be expected. I did not expect to experience bruising and mild pain. The next day the injection site was very bruised and discolored and tender to the touch. The bruising got worst be the day. It's been 5 days and the color is not getting any better. Im not pleased with my experience and will sadly not be scheduling anymore infusions with them which sucks as I was excited to begin receiving infusions on a monthly basis.
