I trusted Marta's ideas on how to stage the rooms, including keeping the living room as a living room, not as a second home office as one of the other stagers recommended. She also gave me tips on curb appeal and staging the deck, porch and bathrooms myself. My realtor reported many compliments on the staging during open houses and showings, and some asked for the staging company's name/contact information. Rick came to my home for the initial appointment, then returned with Marta for a second appointment the week before staging day. On staging day, Rick, Marta and a crew arrived with 2 trucks and asked us to vacate the home for several hours. We returned to a fully furnished home, including artwork and accessories. (I did need to dust some) The only mishap was one piece of artwork fell off the wall a couple weeks later. I texted Rick that night (he seems to prefer texting versus phone calls) and a new piece of artwork arrived first thing the next morning! I really believe their staging was a great value and helped my home sell quicker.

I did not like how they spoke Spanish about the work, in my home and in my presence. The company did get the staging done on time and the house looks good, but they fell down hard with the followings: 1. The interior designer was brusque to the point of rude on several occasions 2. The designer made personal remarks about me to my household staff 3. The designer tried to get my household staff to do work that IS was contracted for 4. Some of the rooms that were listed on the contract for staging were not touched. Specifically the designer wanted to represent an area I use for kitchen storage as a mud room. I went to a lot of effort to remove all the kitchen related items and store them elsewhere, but in the end, no mud room was created. Some big heavy items they said they would move, were not moved and I had to move them myself 5. The company doubled billed my credit card and made no effort to correct this until Citibank called them on it

Once the patio was finished, I hired them to level out my yard and spread new loam, and rebuild my stone wall and water feature in front of my house. They provided a schematic of how the door would look, and an easy to understand and competitively priced project proposal. The proposal also detailed several options we were considering, including 1/2" glass. We opted to move forward with Pioneer, they estimated it would take approximately three weeks to order our custom door. Just under three weeks later, our door arrived and was installed a few days later. There were no issues, the measurements were correct, door looked great and worked perfectly and swings easily, all 90 pounds of glass. And the 1/2" glass gives the shower a high-end look and feel. We'd be delighted to work with them again on our next glass related project.

He had passed in 2006 but…read moreI continued to come and since then I had gotten married and had kids of my own so it's been For over 40 years now that I've come here! I now take my boys here every year. And I plan on continuing the tradition with them. Fond memories of penny candy, and apple dumplings with vanilla ice cream. And the merry -go-round and swings and those super fast and hot slides rofl. The beauty of the orchard and of course the tasty apples! They have their own cheese and fresh baked goods including different sized trays of their always good apple pie dumplings that you can buy to go or you can go to the building outside for refreshments and sit at the picnic tables. But be warned, the yellow jackets are everywhere. They don't tend to sting unless they have been irritated but it's hard to sit still when they are crawling on your foot or drink. Though I don't mind sharing, this isn't what I had in mind. But that's nature. You can always escape to your car to finish your refreshment s and head back out to check out their gift shop or antiques area! It's also a beautiful walk on the road at the orchard as well with gorgeous views of sunset and apple trees just before closing. They of course have many events for the public like book fairs, and festivals of all kinds so it's wise to follow their Facebook page! Brookfield orchard has been a family owned and operated business since 1918! I hope they continue to get the support they need to stay open. It truly is a nice place to go to spend a couple of hours and support a small business. Be sure to leave with some tasty apples, apple cider and those amazing apple dumplings! I was in the brookfield area and stopped by brookfield orchards on a whim. I ended up purchasing a…read more1/2 gallon of cider (for $7.50) and a package of heat and eat apple dumplings. The apple dumplings were great, the cider not so much. It was spoiled upon opening. Seeing has how I live ~45 minutes away, down the sink it went.
