We needed several estate-planning documents notarized, and it can be surprisingly hard to find a notary who handles everything--signing, stamping, witnesses--efficiently and professionally. Here, it was seamless. Service & Experience *Appointment scheduling was smooth and flexible *Quick responses to initial questions about pricing, witnesses, and requirements *They provided all necessary witnesses on-site *The full notarization process took less than 30 minutes *Pricing was very reasonable given the number of documents we had What Sets Them Apart *Excellent customer service--fast, clear communication from start to finish *Clean, professional setup that makes the process feel easy and stress-free *They also offer apostille services, which is a huge convenience. Instead of navigating government offices downtown or waiting at limited DMV locations, you can simply make an appointment here and get it done without the hassle. Verdict Express Apostille & Notary Services makes a traditionally inconvenient process unbelievably smooth. Great communication, efficient service, reasonable pricing, and the convenience of both notary and apostille offerings in one place. Five stars and highly recommended for anyone needing document services in Chicago.

It takes an entire community to make a building a success and the fact that these people can do this with reckless abandoned means it doesn't exist here. And the mobility in the building! It's like musical chairs! You have one neighbor on day one, and another on day two! My other new nearby neighbor is only gradually moving things in. Often at night, of course. Hey, new neighbors at the end of the hall, I can hear your conversations! I'm glad the mister of the establishment is upset about the commotion they're caused at 10:30 p.m. on a weekday evening, but that didn't prevent the lower class self-entitled Establishment missus from saying "So what? What is Miss Wrightman going to do!" You should have seen her privileged expression of disdain as she hauled a six-foot-tall tree through the halls. Honey, have professional movers do the lifting if you have so much money rather than grandstand like the Queen of Mean. I should never leave my unit without a camera; she and privileged daughter were quite the noisy sight! How about that incessantly yapping dog belonging to yet ANOTHER owner. And, of course, it has to be walked during the small hours of the morning. Has anyone here ever lived in a condo building before? Bottom line, we don't have a building manager at the moment, and the place is quickly going to hell. And I'm told I have it good, too. Way too many university folk here with no regular employment. Well, back to investigating the people with the "open-door policy" :) You contact me with theories about THAT!

Sure there are nicer places out there but you will pay a lot more for them. I love the 12 foot ceilings and open floor plan. The finishes here are great as well. Granted it is by the expressway but personally I like that because we have a nice view. If you can find someone selling a place here definately check it out. FYI we are In the new construction part (7th and 8th floors). Keep in mind that there is a drastic difference between these floors and the others if you are looking. The upper two floors have a wall of floor to ceiling windows, no exposed brick and no pillars in the units. The units on the 8th floor all have skylights. The lower units have some support pillars, exposed brick and the only floor to ceiling window is your balcony door. The windows on the side of the door start about waist level. They are still nice though. The finishes are different depending on whether the unit was built by the old or new developer. We love our place, building managent, neighbors and location. Plenty of street parking available too which is great for guests.

We were tenants in a property managed by GenRealty. One of the key things that I expect in a…read moreproperty manager is responsiveness - to service requests and in interactions with the landlord. That did not always happen in a good way with the GenRealty team - they were, more often than not, slow to respond to our requests and, even when waiting on a response from the property owner, the team would not provide even perfunctory updates (e.g. "still waiting on update from owner. stay tuned. thanks for your patience"). Instead, they would go radio silent. They do not frequently answer their phone and prefer to have all their communications in written form, which can be frustrating when you just want to have a 5-minute check-in on open items. The owners of our particular unit tended not to accommodate our requests, and I think they tried to negotiate with them to meet our needs. Customer service and timeliness, while not legally required, are really important in property management. I think GenRealty did things because they were required to (e.g. legal compliance, the "rules"), but I think they struggled with the nice to haves (e.g. customer service, responsiveness, open communication). They have beautiful properties on offer and we LOVED the apartment we rented from them. But based on my what I like in a property manager, I would not recommend them.

Miller tells you to make a portal request (that also goes ignored). They ended up blocking my number when I simply asked for my parking remote deposit back. It has been over a month since the end of my lease, and they never returned my money. Only after I posted a Google review, they said the parking remote was broken. How would I have moved my car out of a gated parking spot without a functioning remote? When living there, I had dirty water filling up my sink and overflowing onto the wooden floors due to a plumbing issue related to another unit in the building. It took Miller two weeks to send a plumber to fix the issue. I was putting towels down to avoid damage to the floors but the water was non-stop. I was washing my dishes in the tub for two weeks. As seen in the attached photos, I warned them that there would be inevitable water damage from this. I quickly noticed the water damage due to their delay in fixing the plumbing issue. I documented this in the portal with pictures. The portal request, texts, calls and emails went unanswered for months. When I finally got ahold of Andrea Miller on the phone, she told me that the water damage was my fault! She told me to contact my renters insurance, saying the repair was my responsibility! When I demanded flooring contractors to inspect the damage, the contractors laughed and said this was fully the responsibility of Miller management. The damage to my flooring was fixed TEN MONTHS after the plumbing issue. My rent was even raised during this time. See photos attached with dates to het a glimpse of how you will be ignored as a tenant. My lease over October 31st, and when I contacted them to return my deposit for the parking remote/ keys that I returned, they BLOCKED my number! Avoid this management nightmare at all costs.

Communication with this leasing company is virtually nonexistent. They don't provide usable contact information--just a single phone number that leads to an automated message directing you to the resident portal, where they don't respond or resolve any inquiries submitted there. The phone line doesn't accept voicemails, and it simply disconnects. When I tried finding the "emergency phone line" listed in my lease, it didn't exist. Maintenance issues are similarly ignored. Residents are told to submit requests through the portal, but my requests went unanswered until I called repeatedly. Even then, the issues remain unresolved. The address wasn't registered as a residential location with any internet providers when I moved in, leaving me with no way to set up Wi-Fi and no updates from the company on what was going on. Upon move-in, the unit was unfinished, with missing trim, uninstalled wall hooks, missing lightbulbs, and an entryway stairway that remains incomplete. Sawdust and dirt from construction were also left behind. None of these issues have been addressed. I asked them to confirm in writing that the unfinished trim wouldn't result in move-out charges, but they've ignored me. Key aspects of the signed lease have also been blatantly violated. My unit includes a storage space, but I've not been assigned one or given a key. The stove was non-functional when I moved in--also a clear violation of the lease. Despite reporting this immediately, submitting multiple requests, and even threatening legal action citing renters' rights, the company has done nothing. I still don't have a working oven. There are additional unresolved issues, including: - I was promised a key fob for front door access, which I still haven't received. - I have no instructions on how to set up the call box for guest access. - I don't know where the residential mailboxes are, nor do I have a key to access it. As a result, I have no idea where my mail is being delivered. - Dumpster and recycling access is through a back door that locks behind you. I haven't been given a key to re-enter through that door. This company's lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through is astonishing. Every time I manage to reach someone, they either have no answers or pass the buck. Dealing with them feels like talking to a brick wall. At this point, I just want my questions and issues to be resolved. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

I cannot rate David highly enough. He was our real estate agent last year as first-time home buyers also expecting our first baby. He was incredibly responsive, always in-contact, and always found an answer for us when we reached out with questions. We never felt pressured to make a decision. Even when, earlier this year, we had an issue with our new Jefferson Park condo and needed consulting on our contract, he responded right away and went above and beyond to help us resolve it.
