I was visiting from Vancouver and came here with a friend on a Thursday night to have some beers;…read morewe wanted to have some drinks somewhere where we could still socialize but not at a bar or pub. The place was pretty busy at the time we got there but not full.... The server greeted us pretty quickly and offered appetizers and the special they had. We ordered a couple of appetizers and some pitchers of beer and didn't have to wait long for it. The servers were friendly too and would check up on us incase we wanted anything else :) One good thing is that they tell you when last call is unlike other places... The ambiance is quite relaxed and they play music but its not blaring so you can actually talk to the person you are with which is great. The decor was fine and had some nice touches but it still needs to be improved as parts are a bit dated; it was probably a mix between an older outdated style with some modern touches thrown in... They need to ditch the tacky banquet chairs at some tables.... All in all the place definitely has potential to be something the area doesn't have currently. The only thing I didn't like is that last call is pretty early and they close at 10 so we had to go to another bar after lol. It's a good place to come with friends to have a drink in a relaxed atmosphere without the feeling of being in a bar and it's the only place in Trail with that type of establishment which i am accustomed to in Vancouver...

This is a quality restaurant that puts together some awesome food and does the details right. They serve the coffee cup on a dish which kept the table circle free. This was a nice old school touch. Fresh cream was brought with the coffee and was kept full throughout my time there by a very nice server. The chorizo burrito was the best one I've ever had. It was completely stuffed with the goods too. Although I was here for breakfast, they had some awesome looking pies. Since I'm a ways away from coming back (and can't keep it cool on the motorcycle) I decided to have breakfast dessert. Glad I did as it was amazing.
