This cafe rates less than a star if possible. I visited for the first time for an early lunch today and was treated to a sandwich served on a broken plate. Not a slightly scratched or chipped hard-to-notice kind of broken. This was a very noticeably broken plate, a corner missing from one side and a large chunk missing from the other side. No one would normally keep such a plate in their kitchen, or anywhere but the garbage, much less serve a guest with it. Never in 40 something years have I felt treated with - I don't know - contempt even? I can't believe it was even legal to serve food on a plate like that, I probably should have taken a picture. read more
