Super nice people with a gorgeous selection of all the donuts. My favorite and so fresh tasting cake donuts were the choice today . . Chocolate glazed, blueberry and cinnamon. I also loved they had mini kolaches with cheese. But the best people are the fresh made to order breakfast tacos. Ignore the bad reviews. My service was excellent. I was in and out in 3 min. And that was with a full shop. I picked up half a dozen donuts and a few of the stuffed kolaches. The donuts were fresh light and airy. Just simple and excellent. The stuffed kolaches is what I want to review though. MAN those were so good. We tried the sausage egg and cheese and potato egg and cheese. The bread was light and a hint of sweetness but had a good chew too. And they were VERY well stuffed. I think there were two sausage links in the sausage egg and cheese. Eggs were nicely cooked. I'd go out of my way for another one of those stuffed kolaches again. It's called "SHOW & SWITCH". They show you one size then make & sell smaller ones. It's to show you what you think your buying them make smaller ones to sell you. Yes it's sneaky & underhanded. What I do is walk out & go to another Donut Shop & buy there. Sometimes when a shop is out of cake donuts they will sneak in glazed. This shop & others do this. When you get home unless you watch them they will stick you, then say "Well you asked for Maple Topping" All I want is what I ordered not what they don't have. It' costs $0.05 cents less to make & give you a Rasied Donut, more profit for the owner by not making more cake donuts. They are very good at making Kolaches. Trays of them for sale but less of a variety of donuts. Dunkin-Donuts makes all their donuts in the morning "plain cakes" but will not ice them until until later in the day when they are out of what you want then they will ice it for your order, not fresh. These shops know all of the tricks to make more of a profit. I walk away. This is the only way to beat them at their own game, DON'T BUY THEM go somewhere else. read more

absolutely the worst donut place I've ever came across. I ordered jelly filled donuts online through DoorDash which are more expensive than just plain glazed. only for my order to arrive and it just was 6 glazed donuts all cut in half with jelly spread on the slices this is absolutely ridiculous. if I wanted a glazed donut with jelly on top I could have just ordered plain glazed donuts and put the jelly on top at home nothing about this was a jelly filled donut how could it be filed if they all had holes in the middle and what's worse I couldn't even get a refund I do not recommend this place. read more

Why do donut shops advertise "Donut Shop" when they mainly make & want to sell Kolaches? Visiting this place are like all of the others. They mainly make raised donuts & hardly limited cake donuts, jelly donuts & buttermilk donuts. Where are the 6 to 7 " Cinnamon Rolls or Bear Claws, or Apple Fritters? I bet they don't know how to mkake them let alone a Honeywheat Cake Donut. I called one Donut Shop & he did not know what it was. How can they claim they are Donut Makers? a Cake Donut costs about 5 cents more to make & if they are out of them they will give me a raised donut. mostly glazed not chocolate, maple strawberry toppings. I went to one donut shop @ 8 AM & he had no jelly donuts or buttermilk donuts & no cake donts, they were all gone. He probably made maybe 1 dozen & the rest glazed. I guess he was too tired to make cake? People will settle for any donut if they don't have their favorite. I won't I will walk out. Donut Shops do not want to cater to there customers they want there customers to cater to what they want to make & sell in order to make a larger profit. read more

Not impressed. Kolaches were very mediocre and the bread seemed like it was stale. The donuts were decent but then again, it's hard to mess up donuts. Paid for 2 cups of coffee that were completely cold, told the lady and she put it in the microwave...Won't be coming back to this place. I'll drive he extra 2 miles to the next donut shop. Donuts, kolaches, sandwiches are all good. However, the place is ran by thieves. I've been overcharged in the past and shrugged it off. But yesterday, not only was I overcharged, they also added themselves a $2 tip according to my bank account. And they never offer you a receipt. It's a shame. Won't be back. read more

Just left this place 03/08/16 @630am. I thought I would give them another chance after receiving a nice response from the business owner "Emily". Needless to say, the service was HORRIBLE! The lady at the counter was rude and mean. I asked for a Bacon, egg and cheese croissant and she became annoyed that she had to "make for me". She walked to the back and returned only to this something in the microwave. I saw the signs plastered all over the store that read "Mon/Tues Special 1dozen donut for $5". So I asked for 1 dz donuts. She asked what kind and I said it didn't matter. She boxed up a variety of donuts. When I went to pay, she charged me $10.71!! I said the donut should be $.5. This is when things got CRAZY! She got pissed telling me the special was for glazed only and when I pointed out the sign and lack of verbage she got even angrier. I said that is fine, I will just take 1 dozen glazed. She became aggressive and sa she would sell me the variety pack for $5 but not to expect it on future visits and kept running her mouth. I repeated I would take the glazed and she refused. I said, "Do I need to leave?" She became so abusive verbally....treating me like a common thief. I wasn't trying to get something for nothing. Shame on her!! This place is so good they have the best breakfast tacos in the city and it it's worth the wait. They have this thing call Boudain Kolaches and is delicious. It's usually packed on the weekends and the people there are so funny. I love this place. probably one of the best donut shops in Texas, better than Krispy Kreme. read more

LOVE IT! Always has a good variety of donuts and love their tacos. Be prepared to wait on the tacos BUT its because they are making them as you order on the spot (I see that as a good thing). Always clean and friendly staff. We have a place closer to us but will drive past to come eat at Donut Palace. read more
