Hands down the best hair experience I've had! Past experiences have not been great since I have wavy/curly textured hair and most places only know how to cut straight hair. First time here and Maria was exceptional and went above and beyond what I expected. The entire process from hair washing (scalp massage was amazing) to hair cutting and styling was wonderful. Will definitely be back! Thank you for making me feel great and confident! :) read more

Kristie is hands down the best! I don't say that lightly either! By complete happenstance I was scheduled with Kristie when I lost my previous hair stylist and there is no looking back now! She is truly incredible and I will rave about her every chance I get! Not only is her skill unmatched, getting my hair done is actually fun as her energy is magic! If you need your hair done, there is no question, book with Kristie!! read more

The TLDR is that the owner of this salon doesn't take accountability for the mistakes made by her stylists, she is incredibly cold and disrespectful when dealing with conflict and unprofessional in handling her business. She's also hardly in the building, as her employees made a joke that "they have a lot of freedom here." I had an appointment for a $200 balayage and I left with orange brassy roots. My stylist never called me back when she said she would, twice. When I finally spoke to the owner several days later, she couldn't care less about the mistake in my service. I posted screenshots of my full experience and my roots in daylight. I ended up getting a full refund after trying to be as diplomatic as possible, but also needing to stand up for myself. I felt so disrespected and not listened to by the owner and never even heard from the stylist. read more

Lindsay did a great job!! I will be going back to her! I've gone to so many stylists, and none of them listen when I tell them the color I want. My hair is very thin & fine, so I need someone that can still make it look nice. She even curled it for me. :) read more

Until moving to Tucson, I've had the worst luck with finding a stylist. I have super fine hair, which means I'm usually left with a drab haircut with no shape or a stylist telling me I should cut it into a bob. No. Thank. You. That all changed when I went to DollHouse. After reading the reviews, I made an appointment with Annie. Let me tell you, she lives up to the hype. She listened to all of my annoyingly-specific requests and kindly offered her expert opinion. For the first time ever, I left the salon without wanting to immediately go home and restyle it. I finally ended up with the haircut and color I've been wanting for years thanks to her! The price is fantastic for the quality and expertise you receive here. Plus, who wouldn't want to spend an hour or two in this adorable salon with Frank Sinatra crooning in the background? Love this place! read more

I purchased a Groupon for this salon after seeing great reviews and being recommended by a friend. The salon was beautiful and the staff was friendly, but the haircut I received was unfortunate. I have thick hair, and the stylist, Gina, said she would "de-bulk" it and add layers. What I got was a choppy, blocky mess that I am still growing out after two months. The picture with my hair "styled" was immediately after my appointment and the other picture was the next day after blowing out my hair. A huge chunk was cut out. I almost cried in the salon when she showed me the end result. I won't be returning. read more

I just left the Dollhouse Salon and I feel like I'm walking on air!! I had a cut, highlights and lowlights done by Paige. I feel I have found my new stylist for sure. She was so sweet and made me feel comfortable immediately. I used a groupon but would have gladly paid full price for the quality I received. But even at full price, this salon is extremely reasonable compared to many others I've tried. The salon is adorable and plays amazing music. If you're looking for a new salon and stylist, then look no further than the Dollhouse Salon and Paige. read more

Love this salon! It's beautiful in there and Maddy does a fantastic job. She took her time and brought me back the hair I have been missing for so long. I will be returning for sure. Been looking for a good hairstylist for awhile now and I came across this place. I've never been here before and was really excited to make an appointment after reading reviews. I called them three times and left a voicemail. No one every got back to me. A huge bummer. read more

I had my hair cut and some highlights and lowlights. The girl who did it was very nice and truly I liked her but the color is not right it is dark. My appointment started at 1 and finished at 5:30. The last 15 mins was my haircut which my bangs are crooked and my hair isn't even close to what it usually is. I said I usually have three layers. And she said yes each time but didn't ask me how I wanted my hair cut. If the cut was alright. The color looked ok at the place but after I saw it in my mirror I knew it was too dark. To spend that long in a chair and get this result was mildly disappointing. My husband was wondering what was taking so long. I had to cancel plans because It never has taken so long before. I should have known from the beginning when they brought the color of my highlight and lowlight and asked what kind of color. My answer. You guys are the professionals. Way too much money for lack of services and quality of the end product. They wanted to go home and I did too. I will not be back. Ever. Pros Beautiful inside People are very nice read more

Cute salon! I had a Groupon and had the pleasure of having Tiffini as my stylist. She recommended that she "break my base" (lighten up my natural color) along with giving me highlights to get the blonde color I was looking for. Was it the lightest blonde I've ever been? No. But I really like the shade that she took me to. She was easy to get along with. The price was perfect. The salon is moving but will still be in the same complex. I would return! read more

I had a Groupon and was given an appointment with Maddy. This is the 3rd place I've tried for a good cut. Well, Maddy did not disappoint! She asked me questions about how I like my hair, told me what was going on with my current style and then gave me a great cut and easy style. The place is cute and I understand they're moving just across the walkway. It is worth it for me to take the drive to that part of town to see Maddy. read more

I've been going to The Dollhouse Salon for almost 3 years. I had an appointment with Tiffini today. I had to wait for half an hour to be seen. Maddy rocks. It's the second time I've seen her and she took me blond with lowlights first, several months ago, and now I'm dark brown, and I swear, she's one of the best colorists I've ever had. She gives great cuts, too. She's a sweetheart and a true talent, never upselling, just honoring her clients' wishes. She's patient and attentive and takes great pride in her work. She would never give up until her client was happy; I think she'd actually be ashamed of herself, call the client, and beg them to come back to redo their hair if she felt she did less than her absolute best. The salon is super clean and the chairs are comfortable, nothing's loud ... it's just pleasant, small, locally owned, loving, and so pretty. It's a bit hard to find, located behind the bank. Prices are completely reasonable - about $95 was what I pay for cut and full color, not including the tip, of course. Don't tell, but I would pay twice as much for the same service at this salon. read more

I would give a negative number of stars if possible. I had the misfortune of having my hair cut by Gina yesterday. I requested an angled bob/A-line and even showed her a picture of what I had in mind. The actual result is crooked, shapeless, and leaves MUCH to be desired. I had to ask her to stop so I could see her progress, because I could tell that she had cut my hair too short in the back to the point where the back and front looked completely disconnected - a little difficult to explain, but I have uploaded pictures. There was no way she would be able to smooth out my hair into a smooth line unless the front ended up at a length about level with my mouth, which was definitely not as short as I would have liked. When asked for help, the owner Annie advised Gina to wash my hair and then took over to simply blow dry and comb out my hair in a futile attempt to try to hide the damage. Annie herself acknowledged that my hair is currently unsalvageable, but suggested that I wait 4-6 weeks then come back so she can fix it. I am completely distraught; my hair has never in my life looked this bad. read more
