We'd go several times a year for birthday brunch, lunch dates, coffee runs, end of school meals, etc. The bakery items are all fresh and delicious - almond croissant is my personal fave. For entrees our go to's were the short rib Benedict and the cinnamon roll French toast. We loved the coffees but the mimosa flight is where it's at. The redid the upstairs seating area and it offers plenty of tables with chairs and/or booth options. It's able to fit small and larger parties. Outside has some picnic tables under a canopy which is nice. We recently moved out of the country and I can honestly say that I miss this place. I'll definitely be back once we come visit or move back to the area.

No pets allowed inside but ok outside. Got the pecan sticky bun. $8. Pretty good price. The frosting was pretty sweet and it was a little gooey which was great. We did get it warmed up and was perfect. The pistachio croissant was also very good. Flaky and buttery crust. Wish the pistachio flavor came through more but it was good. They had chocolate in it also and that was pretty sweet but good. I'd be back. They also have a rewards program. Good bakery at decent prices.

I knew I had found a good place when I couldn't even find parking in the parking lot on a Saturday morning. There was a line out of the door and most tables outside were occupied. I certainly did not mind waiting one bit when it's good! The variety is big, everything looks so good you want one of everything. From pastries to sandwiches, bread and salads even dressings and also merch! What a hidden gem! Staff is super friendly and very informative. The sweet girl helping me was so nice and was able to answer all of my questions and her suggestions were great. I will be coming back again and again for sure!

The location is nice with plenty of outdoor seating. 2. The staff is really friendly. 3. I ordered a loaf of the jalapeño cheddar sourdough. It's sooo good. I will buy this again. 4. I ordered the pasta salad. That was delicious. I would order this again. Cons: 1. I ordered the croque madame (see photo). It came to the table a bit overdone. I still ate it. However, for the price, I wasn't impressed. 2. I ordered the lemon tart (see photo). It was also a bit overdone and really too sweet. 3. I ordered the deviled eggs. They were lacking in a bit of flavor. They also had slivered almonds on top. This isn't necessary and unfortunately I couldn't share them with a different friend because of her nut allergy. Please delete the slivered almonds. 4. I ordered a 12-ounce iced mocha that was almost $7.00 with the $1.00 charge for oat milk and $.60 charge for it to be iced. This is very expensive. Overall, I'll be back for the bread and the pasta salad and would still like to try other items.

Everything looked beautiful and was such a hit. I highly recommend booking with her, she is super talented, professional, and flexible. Her prices are more than fair and you can really count on the experience being something special. We only had a small wedding and we did two tastings because I wanted everything just right. She was so patient and guided us with recommendations. She even put together a fruit platter for us when I asked if that was something she could do. Her macarons are spot on and her donuts were such a crowd pleaser. Try her cornbread, it was perfectly moist and delicious! Can't go wrong booking with her and I cannot wait to work with her again in the future! **cake was done by another bakery

Jessica is the most professional down to earth woman, who I had the pleasure of getting to know over the last year. A wife and mother of two with the greatest story of how she got started - I will save this for you to ask about because it's one you won't forget. We found FCBC through our caterer and from first contact we knew that she would exceed our expectations. She helped us find our five flavors with several tastings (I happily ate every single macaroon!) that were delivered to our home. The toughest job was narrowing the flavors down to five, but thankfully we can reorder all the time! I wanted elegance, romance and an experience we and our guest would never forget. She completely crushed it, 500 macaroons which really meant 1,000 cookies, finding there match which was no easy task but she took it on with the most joyous attitude and shared little previews along the way. Jess was prompt for delivery (way out in Fallbrook) set up our display and coordinated with our planner and florist to make sure that our dessert table was stunning. The designs were impeccable; down to the speckles, gold leaf details and the colors. We even had the sweetest set of macaroons waiting on our sweetheart table waiting for us, decorated with "Bride & Groom" and that attention to detail did not go unnoticed. She packed us to go boxes which was so appreciated because as hosts of a wedding you sometimes miss the opportunity to raid the sweets table. Two days later the macaroons were still just as soft and delicious as the day of. We loved that our cake was also packed so that we could enjoy it or save it for next year! I found a friend, an extremely talented baker and a true creative genius along this wedding journey. I 100% recommend Flour Child Baking Company more for your special events as well as weekly sweet tooth cravings! Check out their IG @flourchildbakingcompany for more beautiful photos!

I don't know why she didn't just tell me she didn't want to take my order. From her first response to her last, my gut feeling was right. I never should have spent my time and energy giving her my business. Her communication was poor from the beginning. She did not answer my questions right away, gave short responses, and I often had to ask the same questions more than once before getting an answer. I immediately felt like I was not welcomed as a customer. Even though most of her reviews seemed good, I tried to be patient and continue with the order. Before I could send payment, she said there was a family emergency, that she had to travel, and that she would no longer be able to make the cupcakes. While emergencies certainly happen and it could truly be the case- the timing left me skeptical, especially since the event is still over two weeks away. Before being cancelled on, I was simply asking for written confirmation of the correct order details and pricing (bc in her previous email it was incorrect). I wanted the correct cupcake order and price written down for a paper trail before sending payment. It did not need to be official, but after the incorrect total and poor communication, I felt uneasy. Her explanation for the wrong amount did not make sense compared to her listed prices, which made me feel like she may have been trying to upcharge me. Regardless of the emergency, communication was just poor and that's the main reason for this review. I don't know if my order was too difficult because I requested several different flavors, no designs, except for one cupcake. I'm not sure where things went wrong, but I'm very disappointed because her work looks great. Some of her reviews mentioned good communication, but that was not my experience at all. I hope she does not treat another customer this way, especially because planning a party is already stressful. If she does not answer your questions clearly and promptly, I would consider taking your business elsewhere. I would not recommend.
