Nice and clean, name is a misnomer. Food however, wow. Mexican food on Taco Tuesday nearly inedible. Everything else pretty weak as well.

I've been lucky enough to enjoy Crazies twice & looking forward to my next visit A must stop should you find yourself driving 101 thru beautiful Port Orford.

I got 2 fish tacos, an order of 9pc shrimp cocktail, and a clam chowder bowl. 9pc shrimp cocktail…read morewas actually battered and fried shrimp.. not a shrimp cocktail. I ordered everything for pick up and when I got to my moms home which.. port Orford is 2 whole miles wide, so I took me about 3 whole minutes, I realized they did not poke any holes in the box the shrimp was in and all of the battered shrimp was soggy and disgusting. The fish tacos, same, soggy mushy falling apart and disgusting. The fish itself was soggy and not crispy. The tortilla was all the way disintegrating at this point and upon picking the taco up the entirety of it fell out the hitting when the tortilla completely fell apart. $60+ of food. What the fuck. You'd think when you pride yourself as a seafood place and offer food to go, you'd understand how to properly package the food so it withholds a 3 minute drive home. It makes me realize it would've been NO different had I eaten there. Do not waste your money on this hole in the wall "seafood" place that claims shrimp cocktail is battered fried shrimp with fries. FYI; shrimp cocktail is steamed or boiled, not battered and fried, and served with cocktail sauce and a wedge of lemon. Also they claim to have salads.. but when trying to order a salad, sorry.. no salads. Lmfao. Also, anyone that claims this is the best fish and chips spot on the coast, or in California, or in Oregon. You live in the butt fuck of nowhere in port Orford with 3 restaurants, respectfully, you don't know what the best fish and chips are. E

This place is extremely inconsistent. Once they stop feeling like serving anything other than fried…read morefood which is mandatory to keep serving alcohol.. they claim the pizza oven is broken and no more pizzas. Walk in on 4th of July to the entire place packed and a pizza just coming out of the oven, everyone has multiple pizzas.. I try to order to go.. nope sorry pizza oven isn't working. LMFAO. Or when they want you to eat there and keep drinking their overpriced booze. Either fix your pizza oven, upgrade your disgusting black fingerprint and gunk covered white standing fridge that everyone can see when ordering or tell your customers you don't want their patronage and aren't making anymore pizzas for the night. Be honest. Place has been reported to health dept for unsanitary practices in the kitchen. It's truly disgusting. Also the main bitch up front always is bitching about being there, bitching when an employee calls out sick because she has to work longer, or bitches that anyone else that works there doesn't know how to do shit. It truly is SO off putting for anyone to come in and feel like they can enjoy a meal or themselves. Especially anyone who isn't from this town and is visiting or passerby's.. it's not welcoming. Find a new job if you don't like what you do. NOONE is making you stay there.

Kind of a hip dive bar meets delicious food with a sprinkle of old timers ready to share a story or two with you while you wait. We got burgers, cuz duh... Look at these things!! I got mine with a side salad instead of fries and my friend got the fries. All of it was delicious. There was zero chance either of us were able to finish these monsters so the rest came home with us. The side salad was amazing! Fries were delicious. And the burgers did not disappoint. The guy at the counter was super friendly and everyone in the establishment gave off a friendly vibe. Happy they were the only place open when we were driving through. We would definitely visit again.

Much to my surprise, there is a vibrant music scene along the southern Oregon coast. Nestled among the coastal communities sits Mr. Ed's, a pub that has become a gathering place for locals, travelers, and musicians alike. Ed Houck--proprietor, bartender, restaurateur, and, as we soon discovered, music enthusiast--runs the place. The establishment is part pub, part family restaurant. The walls are lined with guitars, ukuleles, mandolins, and other stringed instruments, giving the place the feel of a community music hall. Local artists and patrons alike are welcome to pick up an instrument and play. The food is simple, hearty pub fare: a surprisingly good cheese pizza, breakfast burritos served all day, and an assortment of savory meat pies. Nothing pretentious--just honest comfort food that fits the atmosphere perfectly. On a Thursday evening stop during our travels, we were treated to an unexpected showcase of local talent. Musicians took turns on the small stage, accompanied by a simple drum beat and the encouragement of friends and family gathered around the room. From what I could tell, the restaurant is a true family operation, run by Ed and his daughter. The sense of community was unmistakable. This place appealed to me at my very core. It was a genuine slice of Americana. Ed may not appreciate me drawing attention to this little coastal enclave, but I want the world to know about it--a place where neighbors gather, families cheer on performers, and music is shared simply for the joy of it. We watched as Janine checked a lifelong item off her bucket list by performing at her first open mic night, singing a song dedicated to her child. As the evening progressed and community members stepped away from the stage, Ed and a friend pulled instruments from the wall, settled onto a pair of stools, and treated everyone to a few instrumental performances of their own. Suddenly, I found myself enjoying one of the best beers and one of the best slices of pizza of the trip, surrounded by authentic small-town charm and the unmistakable spirit of Americana in a coastal Oregon town.
