4 stars for what it is, i don't know that i'd call it a food hall, but it has the 3 main food groups of the dells, which are burger, chicken sandwich, and mexico. outside there is a bar patio area which seems like it would be nice on a sunny day. there are touchscreens that allow you to order and you can watch the workers make the food for you. the workers don't seem to know english so i suspect that they are j-1 visa for tourism employees ordered the chicken tenders read more

I had the original chicken sandwich with waffle fries and my wife had the grilled chicken skewers with waffle fries. Food was average with service about normal. Different set up with 3 kitchens sharing the space. Lots of outdoor patio space and a couple places to sit inside. read more

Five stars for fun atmosphere and great views! The food was just OK. Our first issue was with the check-in kiosk, nothing was working so we had to place our order twice, and then pay twice. Eventually, it was all figured out, but it was kind of a racket. The food was good. Nothing special, but was priced well. We ordered a combo meal and never did get our chips and never did get our beverage, but either way we would definitely come back! Oh, and don't forget the napkins. They were definitely hard to find, so you might want to bring your own. read more

Amazing views and fun bar to spend a relaxing night. Kid friendly and live music options. Amazing place to spend a summer evening. With great views of the water and close to downtown, this is a great place to cool down. The outdoor patio has mist-ers so it stays cool. Food was decent. Bar food and a bit overpriced but it is the Dells. Service is minimal since you order at the bar but the patio makes up for it. The drinks are very sugary but they have a nice selection of beers and seltzers. read more

Stopped in here for some cocktails and sit down time. The Bloody Mary was DELICIOUS, but other than that, not much to write about. The outdoor area is nice if you can get a spot in the shade. Visiting on vacation and this actually was our favorite spot of the trip for Wisconsin Dells. Easy to order and then just find a good seat. Food is made fresh! Perfect coming right off the Dells Boat Tour. Ideal spot for good food and GREAT view. Highly recommend HAWT MOTHA CLUK'ER. While the location is great with amazing views the same cannot be said for the menu prices and drinks. While I understand the Dells is a tourist area, the price of food is ridiculous! A taco salad with meat is $18 and it's about 6 oz of food with barley any lettuce. The lavender mojito was better last year. They changed the formula and now it tastes terrible. read more

Drinks are VERY overpriced. I paid $30 for 2 regular size hard seltzer's. I thought no way so I sent a message to them (with a copy of my receipt) and yes, confirmed those are the correct prices. It's double what everyone else in town charges. We go to the Dells often, will probably skip next time. read more

The Good: Patio and view of the river are probably the best in downtown Dells. You can see the boats coming and going, watch the trains crossing the bridge and it's easy to find a spot because of how much space they have. The Bad: The concept is confusing and not executed well, at all. They want you to use the self-serve kiosks for ordering food, there are 2 of them when you walk in. 90% of people walk right by, so there is this constant shuffle in/out by the door. Maybe I was lucky but it didn't work, whole section of the menu didn't even come up to order. Staff said system is down, order from the bar. Ummm, bar does take food orders, but bar tender with no one at the bar told me go to kiosk...ok. Food was just ok. Burger and fries were average, chicken strips were boring, my 4 year old wouldn't even eat them. Pork quesadilla was legit all cheese, lame. The Ugly: Staff just DGAF. It was empty, then a boat tour came in and about 15-20 people made their way in, it was like 5:30p and they all seemed annoyed. People's orders were messed up and bathrooms were gross, wife said no toilet paper in women's. Employees sitting on bar, eating ice cream, sandwiches and fries in between answering questions about the stupid kiosks and making drinks. The view will lure you in but the overall experience will not bring you back. read more

I ordered a pizza quesadilla. We happened to sit at the stools that overlooked the kitchen that made the quesadillas. While watching them cook my meal, we saw the cook lick his fingers (yes, he was wearing gloves but licked the gloves). While we sat looking at each other disgusted, he cut up my food, used his hands to pick it up and then ate the scraps left on the cutting board. So many bad reviews, thought I'd chime in with our very positive experience. This was the perfect stop for lunch. We had our dog with us and were able to find a spot in the shade on their huge patio overlooking the river. We liked everything we ordered. Husband had the Beef Birria 'Dilla, son had the Sweet Cluk'er and a salted caramel milkshake, and I had the Freaky Fries. Kiosks were crowded to order, but an employee waved us over to the shake counter and got our order in quickly. If we're ever in the Dells again, we will definitely a stop here for a meal! read more

Spent 3 days at the Dells and this was the best spot we ate at. The my wife and I both got the Sweet Cluk'er and we both loved it. The bun was soft, the sauce balanced (sweet and savory), and the chicken crispy and juicy. Important to note, it's not a fried chicken patty, but 2 tenders in a bun. There's also a generous serving of waffle fries as part of the combo/basket. The freaky fries made for a great shareable. I love the restaurant's design of offering 3 different menus (burgers, fried chicken, and quesadillas) as well as dessert (ice cream, floats, shakes) in one place. You order everything on a touch screen kiosk, pay, and wait for a text notification telling you that your food is ready. The outdoor seating area is really nice. If there was less stars I would give them less. Food was a mess uncooked sloppy and thrown on a counter with hopes you actually get what you ordered. Nothing to brag about at all. On to the bar. Bartenders can't help more than one customer at a time causing backups. If they would actually look up and see who was here first maybe you'd get a drink in a timely fashion. I'm surprised this doesn't have more reviews. Went there with two kids today. It's right downtown but it was super fast, delicious, and good prices. You order yourself, pick it up, and clean up your table after. It was way cheaper than eating at other restaurants and having to tip servers. We had quesadillas, taco salad, and burgers. I went there with the kids last summer. I had the birria quesadilla, my daughter had the chicken, and my son had the smash burger. Venue looks really cool and with multiple options for food, we were excited to try it! Then we did... You order your food at a kiosk, find a table and wait for a text that your food is ready. Okay...but why is there a tip option on the payment terminal? Placed our own order, found our own table and when we received a text that said our food was ready, we walked to the counter and picked it up... I don't tip McDonalds employees for doing their job, so why would we tip people to do their job? The owner should pay his employees a decent wage and not expect them to rely on tips. It started sprinkling rain while we were eating and had originally planned to stay for music. One of the employees came around and told us that, even though it was raining, THE OWNER, told him to close the umbrellas, despite the fact that our food was getting wet. The owner was afraid that his umbrellas would be "blown away". Instead, his customers were blown so far away that we won't be returning. We immediately left and headed to The Keg! It was a great atmosphere and we were treated well... maybe the owner of The District should go have a quick course in hospitality. Just came across this place on our latest trip to the Dells. We could actually smell the food while driving down Broadway. It smelled so fantastic we had to go the next day and try it. Husband had the Nashville hot chicken tenders. Let's just say it was completely love at first bite! I was permitted 2 little bites and the chicken was cooked to perfection and the Nashville hot was hot from the amazing spices. I ordered shareable nacho and there was plenty to share. Very different nachos but in the very best way. Will visit again for sure! And the place was immaculate clean and really neat inside as there are 4 different food places. And the view of the river while you enjoy the amazing food. read more
