On Saturday the parking lot was full but they have an alternate lot across the street and a free shuttle. It took awhile to figure out some of the machines but once we found our machines, it was a lot of fun. I played video blackjack, roulette and baccarat at the table with others that are playing. You can see the hands on the screen. They also had some individual video blackjack and craps games, which I played as well. Super nice wins. Free soft drinks and water. Alcohol not included but drinks are reasonable, around $10 and pretty good.

I saw every movie I saw as a kid at this theater. Bambi, The Godfather (my first R rated film), Bonnie and Clyde, all the John Wayne movies. So when my sister told me they were showing RHPS, I was there. The theater looks remarkably similar to my memories. They guys who have reopened it have painstakingly restored it and there great work shows. Had a great time and look forward to more.

The temperature is set so low it forces you to pay $15 bucks for a cheap thin blanket you could get at Walmart for $2.50. This was a great place except for the temperature. Movies we're already so expensive because the popcorn and sodas which are the cheapest beverage and food available. We're overcharged extreme amount already for that but to be forced to purchase blankets just to be able to sit in the theater and watch a movie is ridiculous.

We learned not to show up at check in time because the lines can get a little long. We would go during the week when we had that option because it's way less crowded. Once you get a Winstar card, they send you all kinds of deals to save money and to use for gambling. For some reason, my dad was the only one that would receive a postcard in the mail for a free gift, so we would always get in line and claim that! The crowd is a little bit older and in some ways I really enjoyed that. I love their slot machines and they do offer free soft drinks and coffee while you are gambling. You're not allowed to take drinks onto the casino floor so be sure to have some available in your room. One great benefit for older folks is that they have free wheelchairs available at most of the entrances. You just pick one up on your way in and can use it for your stay, then just leave it at the door when you leave. And if there aren't any available, the staff is usually very helpful in finding one for you. It's really nice not having to load up a wheelchair in a vehicle when you make a trip to Winstar. And if you prefer a scooter, there are several companies that will deliver it right to the hotel. We tried several of the restaurants in the casino and our favorite was the fish and chips. They have quite a variety of food places throughout the casino. They also have a large variety of slot machines, from the newest to the oldest. And their casino is huge and very nicely decorated, especially the newer parts. I'm looking forward to my next trip there!

The place was packed but they were organized, staffed, and ready. All employees were friendly and helpful. Restrooms, walk ways, stairs were clean and safe. Parking garage was easy, free, and safe. The weird part to me is that the seats make noise when you recline which I wouldn't' think you'd want in a movie theatre. The theater is old so the seats tend to recline whether you want to or not. No stadium seating here and the room I was in was small for todays standards. However, it is very clean the best I could see. I went to a matinee and it wasn't overrun with inconsiderate moviegoers texting and such. Signs indicate they will allow you to take food in from the food court.

5 stars for the staff....2 for the maintenance issues…read more I absolutely love going to this theatre...the staff are almost entirely wonderful. It's just that they don't seem to have the budget they need for maintenance. The seats are pretty old and hard. Emergency exit doors aren't properly sealed in multiple theatres...so if you see something when it's still light out you'll be distracted by the bright light coming in the door. Some of the theatres have weird things going on with the lights too....some flicker/strobe during a movie, which is very distracting at best and possibly seizure inducing at worst. The oven thing they use to heat the snack foods needs some work too...sometimes it only heats part of what goes in it and leaves the rest very cold. The key thing I have to remind myself about is the HVAC system....if it's hot outside, bring a sweater. If it's cold outside, wear layers that you can remove.
