The cinema is actually what brought us back to this location for our weekend get away. Their popcorn is literally the best I have ever had. The chairs recline and are heated (at least in theater 4)! It also wasn't as cold as the rest of the resort - which is a bonus for me, who is always cold. Only downside is that you can't take the free sodas from around the casino into the theater, you have to buy theirs. You can take in Starbucks or alcohol. It was about $20 for a large popcorn and 2 large sodas. Sodas are free refills and the large popcorn is $3.50 for a refill. read more

The theater was great, clean and wonder service. Just one warning, Do Not Eat Here Hot dog wasn't warm, neither was the bun Chicken in food court so dry, you chew and chew, now you have to swallow. Not an easy thing to do! Bowling and arcade were vacant. What's up with that? read more

I recommend seeing a movie at Choctaw because it is a good way to pass time, their theaters have a lot of available seating, and the reclining seats are nice. There's typical movie snacks available for purchase at the front: hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, and candy. I ordered movie tickets ahead of time online, received a QR code in my email, and used the contactless kiosk to pick them up. The sound system was fine and the bathroom was moderately clean. I would prefer it if the online system showed the entrance/exit. I wanted to sit near the exit, and ended up buying tickets on the opposite side. read more

They have a movie theatre here at Choctaw which is nice and the prices here are a steal as $5 dollar Tuesday and $8 a night on weekdays. I am not so sure on weekends though. The seating is awesome. You get to choose your seats. The downside is if you go alone they put you on the edge, but since there were only 2 people that went, I just went to the middle to seat. The chairs are really nice as I was able to recline and they have a tray to put your food on and a drink holder. It does have a sweek noise when you do recline. What do you do when your friends want to gamble but you like money and you really love keeping it? You see a movie instead and hope they run out of chips yo. This theatre is tucked into the Choctaw casino, and typically I'd probably warn you all to stay away. I HATE SMOKERS. I'm sorry, but not sorry too. I don't get smokers, gamblers, etc. I understand addictions but smokers don't just hurt themselves...they hurt others too. So typically I try to avoid smoking establishments but unfortunately I have friends that just can't not gamble. So today while they did them, I took in Ready Player One at the new District Cinema. I'll straight up say that you don't feel like you are at the casino. This place is nestled in the kid area, so there's an arcade, bowling alley and the closest casino area is non smoking. So no smoke here. I'm super sensitive to it so I can vouch here: No smoke. It's not ridiculous on the prices: While I typically go to the cheap Cinemark in McKinney this place is $8 for adults on the weekend. I've seen worse. I got nachos and a drink for $8. I will say the drink is sort of small. I'm used to big drinks at the movies and these were SMALL. I don't think you get a refill, but they were the kind you fill up yourself, so not sure. I ran out within 20 minutes and didn't want to get up lol. The screen was nice, the place is not crowded at all and it was super clean. Other than the drink, it was a great time. Great prices for a state of the art theater with reclining seats. We saw one of the Marvel movies here and I'm glad I didn't see it at an AMC or Regal somewhere else for twice the price. The reclining seats were super comfortable and made for a relaxing experience. The only downside to seeing a movie here is there isn't really parking close to the theater. It's quite a hike from the main parking garage over to to the other side. I liked that you get to pick your seats so you don't have to show up for the previews like in the old days. read more

Went to see the new ghostbusters movie yesterday. This is a theater in the casino. I was a little confused on where to buy tickets . The popcorn was fresh, the concession prices were reasonable and the bathrooms were very clean. They had the reclining chairs and the staff was helpful and friendly. Great place read more

This is a relatively small theater complex attached to the Choctaw Casino. It is part of The District which is an arcade and food court area on the south side of the Casino. The popcorn was fresh and quite responsibly priced for a theater. We had no issues getting tickets at the electronic box office just outside the theater complex. The only downside is the use of the older, rocking theater seats. In order to remain competitive with theaters across the River in Texas (just a short drive away) they will need to remodel to accommodate the recliner-style seats. This will limit seating in already small theaters. Although there was a bit of a temperature control issue during the movie (typical for all theaters, so I always bring a jacket), overall this was a good experience and I will certainly return! read more

This place wasn't all that it's cracked up to be. The staff is really nice and helpful, but the air inside is musty and thick. You can smell everyone around you. They need better ventilation for sure. They serve Poppa John's pizza, subway and some chicken place. Meh. read more

I really enjoy the district, bowling, arcade games, and the cinema. It's a great place to hang out with friends, but the fact that you have to be 16 and older is annoying. I think the limit should be 12, or 13. Most 14, and 15 year olds are plenty mature enough to be left at a movie alone. (Some, not all.) read more

Very nice clean theatres . Worth the money with a standard concession stand, good choice of restaurants near by and first run movies. A must see! Great for family and the entire family. Oh and there's games for the kids, laser tag and bowling nearby. read more

I agree with the first review from Cindy L. Clean, first-run movies, concession stand etc. In the same building with the lazer tag and game machines and located in an area behind the casino. We purchased our tickets in advance to make sure we'd have seats. No disappointments after 3 visits over time. read more
