I threw a hail mary and booked without having tried the food myself before and prayed that the experience would be wonderful. To say i was satisfied with them would be an understatement. Though i booked them last minute (literally 2 days before the event), Brooke was more than accommodating and helped decrease the stress! Communication was clear via phone and email and in the course of a couple of hours, she had given me customized menu options within my budget as well as vegan restrictions -- all while i multitasked at work! On the day of the event, her staff arrived promptly at the discussed time and had the food prepared and set up nicely. Everything was beyond expectations and i was complimented all night at how good the food was. Bonus: they are a zero waste company and also used biodegradable eco-friendly utensils! a company after my own heart. I will definitely book them for future events and recommend them to anyone looking for amazing food and great service with a sustainable mindset!

A criteria we had when searching for a caterer was having a family style option so that our guests had a chance to eat multiple items/dishes. We knew we didn't want each person to just get one plate of food with a single protein choice; we wanted a feast! After finding Taste of Pace through some online research, we scheduled a tasting, which completely blew us away! Pace had us come to a loft where she cooked all of the dishes as we sat, ate, drank, listened to lovely Italian dinner music, and chatted with Brooke to go over the menu options. We instantly booked with them after. They also helped with the open bars we had at the wedding, so the food, the alcohol, the staff were seamless and amazing. We keep getting comments on how delicious the cocktail hour appetizers and dinner platters were. For cocktail hour, we had a charcuterie station, hamachi crudo, risotto cakes, and hangar steak. For dinner, we had an heirloom lettuce salad, braised short ribs, salmon, fingerling potatoes, and seasonal veggies w/ burrata. I was definitely not one of those brides that don't get to eat a bite of their food at their wedding. Oh, I sat and ate my ENTIRE plate of food! My favorite thing about Taste of Pace is that they are a zero waste catering company and they use every part of their ingredients. It's so amazing!

We had a premiere party at Castle Green in December where your only choice for catering by contract with the building is Little Lily's Kitchen. Kari and Booke were very nice, but their prices were insane for what we needed. In any case, we moved forward with an 8K invoice for a "finger-food" order for 250. When we found only 70 had RSVPd, we obviously had to honor our non-refundable contract for the 8K, which we did in good faith and ahead of schedule. But since we were at 1/3 capacity, I asked for an additional choice of finger food, which they did. The problem came in the fact that we paid for 6 servers and received 3. The food didn't begin circulating (by a very sweet wait staff) until 45 minutes after guests arrived and then it was very intermittent with many never receiving food. For 8K I expected non-stop food for our 70 guests, instead what I got (and didn't find out till later) was a lot of hungry people. On top of that, we had 16 guests report stomach issues the next morning - the commonality being goat cheese. When I addressed this to Brooke and Kari, I was not looking for a refund - after all, maybe it was a stomach virus that circulated within 24 hours, but I was dismayed by the fact that they didn't respond at all- zero, zip, nothing, not even a thank you for our business. It was the BIGGEST ripoff I've ever experienced with a caterer. For anyone having an event at Castle Green that doesn't involve a very large payout for the owners, buyer beware.

They were on time (I was not), but they were super nice about it. Even helped me put it in my car. Lumpia was crunchy and had good flavor. Turon was perfection. I like the skinny turon because I can eat a bunch and not feel bad about it . Would definitely order from them again and next time I'll be trying their other dishes as well.

I texted them and received a response very very quickly. I placed the order at 3:30pm with a delivery scheduled for the next day at 9am; that's how last minute I was on this and I am so grateful they could fulfill the order because the food is DELICIOUS! I ordered a half tray of lumpia and a half tray of turon and they arrived hot, fresh, and crispy! I definitely enjoyed a few before bringing it to work. The turon was especially good because it wasn't overly sweet like others I've had. There's is just the right amount! The order was delivered about 15 minutes before the scheduled time and it went very smoothly; very friendly service with the delivery guy. There were other trays of lumpia and turon at the potluck but my coworkers raved about the flavor and crispiness of the food from Pinot Eats. I highly recommend them for your catering needs and I'm definitely saving their number for all of mine. Thanks Pinoy Eats!

As part of the menu we were served a four course meal: small bites to start; a garden salad filled with mixed seasonal greens, radish, tomatoes and other fresh vegetables; the entree consisted of a delicious mushroom risotto and a braised short rib with root vegetables (beef harvest); and lastly a butterscotch & salted caramel pudding with whipped creme. We were also served their watermelon agua fresca. Everything came prepackaged and was served in separate containers to our offices. Everything i had that night was delicious. The beef harvest, which was cooked in red wine was flavorful and tender. The risotto was al dente just like it was supposed to be. The watermelon agua fresca was not overly sweet and was a nice touch for the warm weather we were experiencing. The winner off the menu was their dessert! I am not a big fan of butterscotch or caramel but their dessert won me over. The pudding was not too sweet but well balanced. The crisp on top added a great texture to the pudding. Even though I was full from everything that was served that night, I made sure to make room to finish the dessert. It was just that good! The caterers/servers all wore masks throughout the process. Everyone adhered to the COVID-19 safe food practices recommendations. Overall, it was an amazing experience getting to try their food. This place should definitely be considered if you're looking for fresh foods straight from organic farms, healthy eating, and meals individually packaged. And did I mention, they have an amazing butterscotch pudding that everyone must try!

The primary grazing table was decked out with a wide assortment of non-typical, and very appealing, meats, cheeses, veggies, dips, mixed salads and all manner of crostinis. Everything I ate tasted terrific, and was utterly fresh. The only drawbacks: serving utensils were small and fragile, and the display may have been a tad too artistically crafted for the type of crowd, which attacked the freebies like Survivor's castaways hitting a hotel buffet after 40 days on the island. Things got really chaotic really fast. But how was Heirloom to know the guests wouldn't be quite as polite as expected? Their bar had a nice selection of wines, and their house Diablo Margarita hit a pleasant balance of sweet and hot. The absence of soft drinks aside from sparkling water felt like a misstep, though the organizers may have opted out re price. Passed small bites were equally creative and tasty, from shrimp skewers and falafel to samosas and some others. Also on site was a soft-serve ice-cream cart, dishing out several flavors to order. The staff was friendly and chatty, and kept both food and drinks moving at a clip. While the situation wasn't perfect, I feel like Heirloom did an excellent job overall, and that any misfires could easily have been attributed to circumstance and decisions from the organizers rather than any shortcomings on the part of the caterer. I would absolutely call them to cater an event I was planning.
