I wanted to see a variety of designs, shapes, and settings--and they had so many beautiful options to try on. The experience was warm, helpful, and not overwhelming at all. However, I ended up going with another jeweler a few stores down because my boyfriend had a connection there. The moment I received my ring, I immediately regretted not choosing Jangmi. The ring I got was nothing close to what I had asked for. The prongs were bent, and I had specifically requested a higher setting so that a wedding band could sit flush--but none of my bands (even very thin ones) sat properly. I brought it back and asked for multiple fixes. To his credit, he did make adjustments for free, but when I received the ring the second time, it still didn't match my vision at all. What I wanted was simple and classic: a 6-prong setting with tall, straight prongs (similar to the Tiffany style) and small claw tips. Instead, the ring was still not high enough, and the prongs were extremely thick--both from the top and side view--which completely took away from the beauty of the diamond. At that point, I was honestly so frustrated and ready to give up. But I remembered how positive my initial experience at Jangmi was, so I decided to reach out and ask if they could reset my ring. Even though the previous jeweler was willing to keep making changes for free, I didn't feel comfortable going back. I would much rather pay for something done right. And I am SO glad I did. Jangmi had the exact design I had been envisioning all along. Mrs. Kim was incredibly patient, attentive, and knowledgeable. She had a wax model made for me to try on before finalizing the ring, which made such a huge difference. Seeing and wearing the design in person gave me so much confidence--honestly, I preferred this so much more than just looking at CAD images, which can be hard to interpret if you're not in the industry. Within just two weeks, my ring was exactly what I had dreamed of from the start. The craftsmanship, the proportions, the setting--everything was perfect. My biggest regret is not coming to Jangmi Jewelry from the beginning. But one thing I can promise is that I will absolutely be coming back here for my wedding bands. If you're even thinking about going here--just do it. You won't regret it!

After a few weeks, we noticed that one earring kept getting loose over and over, and shame on us, we "lost" the box and receipt. I want TO CLARIFY THAT SINCE THE DAY MY HUSBAND BOUGHT THESE EARRINGS, I NEVER TOOK THEM OFF. Sadly, l had to keep screwing it back tight. This past December 2023, l took off my neck warmer in a show, and a few moments after, l realized the earring that kept getting loose was gone. I decided to find the store where my husband bought it, and l finally found the box! And l called.(This wasn't the first time; however, l was lucky to find the earring immediately). The owner attended my call, and l explained the story; he mentioned the following: 1) It is expected that all earrings come off even with a screw back. (REALLY????) 2) He suggested that if l sent him the earring, he would match it and then send me a new one for $350 plus tax. Honestly, I wasn't expecting too much, but l didn't think he would ever say that "it was normal." I believe if l buy cheap quality...IT IS NORMAL! But not 600 dollars earrings!!! Adam NEVER ACCEPTED and APOLOGIZED. I would never spend money in this business; l prefer to go to Claire's earrings, which will last longer, and pay 2 USD for it, honestly. In 2016 I had my Rolex Submariner in for regular maintenance because they were much faster (and cheaper) than the Official Rolex facility across the street which expected to keep the watch for 8-10 weeks vs 3-4 for Faber. This watch had been serviced at Rolex twice before in it's lifetime. I was having it serviced partially because the winding mechanism had become "stiff". Faber guranteed to use 100% Rolex parts. Estimate was 3/4 the cost of using Rolex service. When the watch was returned, it still felt "stiff" when winding, but kept relatively perfect time (for a rolex.) 8 years later (this week) I brought it to Rolex. Their first comment was that winding mechanism felt very stiff.....they also noted that the crystal had been replaced with a non-Rolex part, which could have only been done by Faber, contrary to their representation. I haven't felt comfortable with the Faber service for the last 8 years and now have the evidence to support that gut feeling.
