While I understand salon services can be expensive, this particular haircut didn't feel worth the cost to me. When I reached the counter, I caught a better glimpse of myself (the chair I was in was so low to the ground I could only see what was above my chin,) and had to ask her to do the curls again and add a LOT of hairspray, because it was not going to hold by the time I reached my event and it was blisteringly hot and humid outside. I was right. Even with the hair spray and the second time around curls, by the time I reached the event I looked like a hot mess and just ended up tying up my hair up. Naysa asked me to come in for a strand test to make sure that the Keratin treatment would take and not do any further damage to my hair.
