Working with the design people has been a nightmare the entire time. They sell you because they are local great communication at first then they disappear. After that you have to communicate with web designers over seas the hours are off. They charge a lot of money to do the sights and than there monthly fees are also very high and the finished product looks nothing like what you paid for or discussed and you are constantly paying to get the product you originally paid for but never received. BEWARE - VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with Agent Image and their website design team The Design People in the Philippines - I agreed to be charged $2,000 but as of mid December 2022 the website is not what they said they could do. My specific work requests have not completed since July. Background: In June I called Agent Image (spoke with a California sales representative) to ask if they could combine two existing real estate websites into one with a fresh re-design and, very importantly, show listings by neighborhood in one specific city where I live. I had many confirming conversations (6-7?) with this one sales rep to re-affirm this before I moved forward. He repeatedly told me that they could show listings by neighborhood so I felt assured. I had very specific requirements. I told them that they could use the existing content of both websites but re-design each page with a modern, current look using this existing content given to them. The website creation work was shipped to The Design People in the Philippines. [They are 12 hours ahead of my time so we only communicated by email.] I gave them $1,000 up front and in 30 days (per their contract), they charged another $1000 to my credit card. This was the total amount for the website. IMPORTANTLY, the work had NOT been completed at the time the second $1000 was charged and I received no email or phone call reminding me that it would be charged even when we had barely lifted off of the ground. More than a month later the project leader at The Design People company told me, after many "up front vetting" conversations with the sales rep, that they could not show listings by neighborhood which was the main reason I hired them. He asked me to provide code for this at one point. They also did not re-design the majority of the existing text/pages that I gave them access to. When I pressed, someone called me and said "We aren't in the business of giving money back." Well - now my credit card company is pursuing this. I believe that this was misrepresentation just to get a sale. Beware out there. read more

The Design People Inc. (Agent Image) is a complete rip off. Do not be fooled by the lavish sample sites they claim they can build for you. We've been working with this company for over 2 years being passed off from one rep to the next. Each one less and less capable of completing the most simple task. After finally being fed up with this drawn out process of them not completing our website we have finally began the process of taking these guys to court. Now that's going to cost us THOUSANDS more! We already paid over $3000.00 for a website that is STILL NOT complete and they refuse to finish the project. Get this, THIS IS AFTER 2 YEARS OF NOT DELIVERING ON OUR WEBSITE. This has been the biggest waste of time and money. If any one has any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. I would hate for anyone else to go through what we've been through. This has not only cost us our valuable time and lots money but is a company website, so you can imagine how much business we're losing by not having our site live! SCAMMERS!!! If I could give a big fat zero, I would. Do not walk away from this company -- RUN!!!! I spent a small fortune back in 2011 for them to design a website for me for my real estate business. I invested the bulk of the money that I had in these guys and lost everything. I was told the whole thing would be complete in 4-6 weeks. The process started in April and at first, they were very diligent in communicating, but by October17th, 2011, in my last correspondence, they still had not finished the website design and I requested it be canceled. I was told it was canceled, trusted that it was, but failed to confirm by checking my credit card charges. The failure to follow-up was my fault. I admit that. Now, three years later, I finally notice that they have continued charging my credit card $49 every month since then. I called them back yet again to ask for a refund back to October 2011 and have again been told that the account was canceled, but NO REFUND. Not one penny of these false charges!!!!! At least this time I have some documentation via an email, that it is officially canceled, but am seriously considering legal action. The site NEVER even went live!!!!! read more

Do not work with these scammers. They have screwed me out of tens of hours of work and hundreds of dollars. I met one of their designers through a friend so I thought they would be decent people to work with. Chris Youra, their top designer, said he would help me to convert my website's backend to Adobe Business Catalyst. He signed me up for the subscription service and I spent two weekends entering all my product styles into the new backend. He then stopped returning any of my emails and phone calls, leaving me high and dry to complete the switch. I have since had to hire someone else to finish the job. I wish I had never met Chris Youra or even heard of the company Design People. They are not a reputable company that delivers what they promise.
