As we were walking towards the window, a young man in the drive thru line greeted us with, "Give me a second, I'll be right with you." At first, I didn't think much of it, but it quickly became clear why he asked us to give him a few.. This location only had two employees working on a very busy night. The young woman was handling the drive-thru window, while the young man was taking drive-thru orders, helping customers at the walk-up window, and keeping everything moving. They were doing the work of an entire team, all while staying friendly and professional. Yes, there was a bit of a wait for our eight drinks, but once we saw the situation, we completely understood and didn't mind at all. Despite being short-staffed, our drinks were made perfectly and tasted great. Before we left, we wished the young man good luck because they were truly working hard. I've never seen a Dutch Bros in CA operating with only two employees during such a busy time. Kudos to both of them for keeping such a positive attitude and providing great service despite the circumstances!

I was excited to find a familiar coffee shop that wasn't Starbucks. I have a Human Bean next to me in Tempe and love their coffee products. I picked up my coffee drink and appreciated the great customer that I always get from these guys. The Human Bean got their start in Oregon. They are known for their hand-crafted espresso drinks and fruit-infused smoothies. Every drink is topped with a white chocolate espresso bean. All of their locations have a double drive-thru or you can walk up to the window. You order directly from the barista and not through an intercom. The baristas are usually high energy and personable. The Granita is a my favorite and is Human Bean's biggest seller.

It truly doesn't look like much when you're driving by. My husband and sons are ALL very well versed in caffeination, like 4 espresso shots per drink and multiple drinks per day! This place is amazing! They don't over roast their beans? They brew in a way that reduces the inherent bitterness of espresso or coffee. They use quality syrups and flavorings. They work quickly and efficiently to keep you moving on but looking forward to coming back. From the outside, it looks like everybody is very well trained and happy to be there. The prices are very reasonable and actually lower than several other places in town.

He said only 1 card had $10 on it, second card had only $5, and the third card had nothing on it. I thought that was strange but I said ok. He then insisted that he would throw the cards away but I told him I wanted the cards back and he looked upset like he wanted to keep the cards from me. When I got home I checked the balance on all three cards and sure enough I had another $5 on one card and $10 on another card.
