It's always a cheap eat because their prices are inexpensive for their food quality, which makes me (and most likely everyone else) glad. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of fries, and it was delicious. Funny enough, I meant to order the crispy chicken sandwich but I forgot and ordered this one, yet it was just as amazing. The tender, juicy chicken paired well with the perfect hamburger buns and the crispy fries. Definitely tasty, I might order this over the crispy chicken sandwich. I entered and was sat down very quickly and was asked my drink and food choice. The waitress was very polite and helpful, she seemed like she had a lot to do. Refills were fast, the vibe was great and I was grateful for everybody doing great in busy hours. Inside was a bunch of Route 66 stuff, handmade items and trinkets alike. I could tell they love Arizona. The seats were comfortable, the tables clean and certainly a great experience. I'm really glad they had some AC on, it was almost a "chilly" 100 degrees outside. Just spectacular. Overall, Calico's is the place for high-quality, scrumptious meals with great prices, nice people and wide selections of foods and memorabilia. I absolutely recommend this place for anyone with high standards, Calico's delivers on everything. What I also recommend is that you should come for the Sunday brunch buffet, it's quite the thing. Thank you!

I've thought about the hash brown casserole for years and looked forward to satisfying my hunger for the potato casserole. I was extremely disappointed when I saw the "casserole" come to the table. Shredded potatoes?? What the heck? The waitress confirmed the recipe had changed. They were dry and unappealing. The waitress saw the displeasure on my face and asked several times if I wanted to replace them. I declined. I was really looking forward to the potato casserole. The restaurant ambience was as remembered and the staff were all very nice and friendly. My son enjoyed his food as he had the 4 piece fried chicken dinner with three sides. Note the sides are much smaller as I remembered them to be. Mac n cheese was good but not the same. I guess costs and overhead are cutting into food quality. Sadly I won't be returning to any Cracker Barrel in any state, unless the original casserole recipe is brought back. But I'm one person and don't think the casserole will return.

My Dad and I came in because I needed to reminisce (I met my late wife here 56 years ago). He had the fish and chips and I had the chicken taco plate. Dad made the mistake of ordering a side salad in addition to his meal. It's a good thing Danita has to-go boxes! We're both going to need them. My chicken tacos were a kind of street taco with lots of good stuff (lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion, black olives, sour cream, and what I think is homemade salsa) to put on them. The beans were delicious. Not typical refried beans, but a really tasty pinto beans topped with melting cheese. Dad's "side salad" is ginormous! I guess there's lettuce under the tomato, black olive, red onion, and tomato, but I can't see it! His cod came out as two very large (hanging over both sides of the plate), and he was sure he wouldn't be able to finish one of them. He was wrong! I don't think there is such a thing as a cheap restaurant any more, but prices here are significantly lower than we expected. I'm so glad we came in. We'll definitely be back.

We dined outside on their large open patio, which had a relaxed and comfortable vibe, exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. I ordered the Caesar salad topped with chicken, fresh romaine, shaved Parmesan, crunchy croutons, and a solid dressing. Simple but well done and the portion was HUGE. For drinks, I had a Prickly Pear Margarita, which was refreshing and had just the right balance of sweet and tart. My sons ordered the Sud Soakers personal pan pizzas. My oldest got the Carnivore which came loaded with house sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage, and bacon. It was rich and hearty without being overwhelming. My youngest had the Margherita, which was light and fresh with house sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil, and sliced tomato. My husband ordered The Bichen Burger, which definitely lived up to its name; lettuce, tomato, pickle, mayo, pepperjack cheese, grilled jalapeños, and their signature "bichen sauce." It had a nice kick and was packed with flavor. Overall, it was a perfect stop: great food, generous portions, fun menu, and a really nice outdoor setting. A great way to end the day before heading back to Las Vegas where we were staying.

From the very first moment, she showed a kind and professional attitude, always with a smile and a willingness to help. Her service was quick and precise, while still being warm and attentive. What impressed me the most was her ability to anticipate needs: our water glasses were never empty, she recommended dishes with knowledge and enthusiasm, and she made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. In addition, she managed the service efficiently, even during busy moments. In summary, her care turned an ordinary outing into a very pleasant experience. It is clear that she enjoys her work and genuinely cares about her customers. Without a doubt, she deserves recognition for her dedication and excellent service. Surprisingly for a Saturday around 230pm there was a single finer and a couple in the restaurant. In the past especially on a weekend this location was busy. We werent greeted upon entering g by the front desk fal..we wanted a few minutes to be acknowledged.althiugh no one else was in line for seating or for the cashier. The cashier or hostess who took us to our table looked miserable and it seemed like she was doing us a favor by grabbing menus and seating us. We were seated next to a couple and across from the only other diner in BB. It was sooo cold my husband had to grab his work jacket from our car..when I say it was cold..freezing..im not exaggeration. We waited a long time fir the server to take our order and we sat there fir 25 minutes for our food. We bith ordered the Grizz..our favorite breakfast. My eggs, country potatoes and bacon came out first. Husband got the grizz also; his French toast came out first. . his eggs, potatoes and bacon arrived approx 6 minutes later wuth my pancakes. My pancakes were dyed out and cold. Eggs were supposed to be over easy..there was a partial yoke from one egg..again overcooked. Country potatoes may have been left from day before..overcooked and burnt. Bacon was almost black and hard. I asked for my pancakes to be warmed up at the least as they were cold, overcooked and not light and fluffy as they have always been.( best pancakes around) in addition the couple next to us got fries instead of strawberries??? and one of the staff was overheard she wasnt making enough money. Summary: As much as we enjoy BB..won't be returning to this location anytime soon. I would suggest a cooking class for the cook and training fir staff. Maybe check out Bullhead , Havasu, Goodyear, Henderson or Vegas..never had a bad meal or experience at these lications For BB to have 3 diners on a Saturday afternoon shiuld be a warning...your prices have been on the increase but service and food ( at this lication) is going way down.

The fries weren't weak or overly salty, they were literally perfect. I am not kidding when I say the fries were the best fries I have ever had in my entire life. Crispy and salty to immaculate levels, it's almost mind blowing how tasty this meal was. It was only ~$12, which is a steal! I will absolutely come back, trying something new. Service was great, too.
