The incident made me grumpy. So after I had finished my overpriced burger, I went back to the point of sale and complained. I politely suggested to the grill cook, Bryan, an Assistant Manager, that they had a customer service problem. I detailed it (lukewarm soda, lack of napkins, and a locked patio). Acting like a jackass seventeen-year-old, he said they did not have a problem. He did not accept the problem , Instead he denied there was one... He did not apologize and instead escalated his unprofessional manner. Whatever happened to the HyVee slogan "a helpful smile in every aisle"? I guess since he was outside the store, he's not required to be civil to the customers ...

A Basin bath and beauty store? You can find it here. The liquor department has a very large selection along with a growler filling station and a walk-in cooler, or you can grab a drink at the bar at the Market Grille. They often (in non-pandemic times) have tastings as well. For dinner, they have a large assortment of take-and-bake meals, which come in handy now-a-days. Most are dark, cramped, shady places with sticky floors that one tries to get in and out of as quickly as possible. With little time to look around, your normal trip to a liquor store is a five minute ordeal. Liberty view wine and spirits is the exact opposite. It is bright, open, inviting. The selection is overwhelming and I found myself having a hard time believing I'd already been in there 30 minutes simply looking around at all the different beers. I can't even imagine how long I would have been in there had I strolled through the numerous isles of wine and liquor. I can also tell you that the owner is incredibly nice. Even though it had been years since I had been in her gas station on the corner of 965, she immediately recognized me and made me feel welcome. The place was super clean, smelled nice, and the folks working were super friendly. They were quite happy to look up a wine and try to get it in stock, as well.
