Prices are sadly set by the state government so nothing to rate in that area. For a small store, the selection is pretty good, with some decent wine choices (plenty of them from our local winery) and lots of popular liquors and liqueurs. The attached drive-thru is for cold beer primarily - there are some soft drinks and chips as well as smokes (and chew), but the emphasis is firmly on alcohol. Don't drive through here looking for milk, in other words. You can purchase beer or wine in the drive thru but must come inside for liquor. You can certainly go inside to buy beer too. The guys that work here are very friendly and accommodating, cheerfully carrying your purchases to the car if need be, and in the drive through they'll put them in your trunk or back seat, however you prefer. The five star rating is primarily for service and I'm happy to give it. Nice long open hours, too.

The one worker in particular apparently hates their job and hates everything that is sold in the place. No matter what I'm buying, they've got something to complain about it, how much they hate it, how much they can't wait until that product is gone. And it doesn't matter how many times it's the same product I'm buying, they'll complain about it each and every time the same way. I got sick of hearing it, so I quit going in so much. Unfortunately they sell certain things I can't get down the road at the other station or I'd go there exclusively. Just now I was in there with my wife and we were lied to about how much things cost, whether by that employee or by the signage hanging in front of the products, and we were charged $2 more for what we were getting than what the signs said. Instead of checking the pricing, they told us it was right in the system. My wife had a winning scratch off for just a couple bucks and wanted to trade it for a couple other tickets. She knows how that employee is from me telling her about my interactions. She said "I know you don't like these..." and when she handed her winning ticket over for that employee to scan, they sighed loudly and scanned the ticket like it was killing them to scan it. I don't know the owner of the place, but I'm sure they'd love hearing an employee is complaining about the things the company sells that keeps that employee in a job. We're not going back.
