However, the gate to the parking deck has been broken for approximately 1 month, and the apartment has had no extra security measures put in place. My Infiniti q60, along with another resident's Infiniti q60, were stolen on March 17, 2024, at approximately 3:07 am. While the gate has been broken, there have been no onsite security officers or cameras. The investigating officer was the one who pointed out that there were no cameras throughout the deck to help with the investigation. The only way we know what time the car was stolen was because my license plate was pictured on a nearby traffic cam. Upon speaking with the complex, they only had one camera at the entrance of the deck, but they still were unable to help in any way with footage or helpful tips. When speaking to the management office about the incident, the responding leasing officers gave off the impression, "That sucks it happened, but it's not our problem." It's not the apartment's fault that my vehicle was stolen, but the lack of security measures on their end definitely plays a huge role. Along with the gate being broken, the door on the second floor that leads to the apartment complex has been broken and left wide open for about two weeks as well. Before moving to this complex, consider your overall safety. This is Atlanta, GA, and certain things should be put in place for major cities like these, but this apartment has neglected to provide anything.

This feature is a big deal for a luxury apartment complex, considering guest parking at most other locations is extremely limited and inconvenient. II. LOCATION You're close to 285, so travel is convenient. Walmart is across the street (literally walkable). Costco, Publix, and Kroger are up the road as alternatives. You could walk to the Marta (so airport travel is convenient) and you could also walk to downtown Chamblee. This location is literally a jackpot ~ you couldn't find better. You're also by all the outstanding food culture on Buford Highway. Not to mention, left of Walmart is the "Chamblee Trail" you could utilize for walks and runs daily. III. SERVICE Maintenance is always timely and considerate about entry. The administrative team is informative and helpful via email and in person. The website for payments and maintenance calls is easy to navigate as well. Can I also mention how DOG FRIENDLY this place is? IV. QUALITY Very affordable for the luxury boho, anthropology design of the complex. You won't be disappointed in the amenities and esthetic of all the shared spaces. One issue I did encounter each summer, no matter how cleanly and spotless my space was.. was cockroaches. This means it's likely a widespread issue throughout the complex, spreading to neighboring rooms and not sourced from my area. To be transparent, it's a summer-long persistent battle, no matter what floor you're on or no matter how many times you call maintenance to call pest control. The only thing that stopped the cockroach raids was winter and cold weather. V. CAPACITY This complex is pretty high demand, not going to lie, so shoot your shot and get an apartment while you can..!

The lockers are always busted. Some don't even lock and they never get fixed. They NEED CAMERAS IN THE MAILROOM. Roaches everywhere also. At night when you walk around you see them running around in the stairwells. The pool area is also FULL of roaches so if you go use the firepit or grill area you will definitely see a bunch. Walls/ floors super thin also. You can hear all of your neighbors from every direction.

After further inspection, it appeared like there was a massive infestation at some point (see all the cockroach poop in the drawers). We ended up having to unpack our entire kitchen just days after moving in so Cortland North Brookhaven could come spray for the roaches. We had to leave our entire kitchen unpacked for ~3 weeks as they needed to spray in all the cabinets to ensure the roaches were gone. We also needed to wait to use our kitchen until it didn't smell like pesticides which was over a week in itself. During this time, my husband and I had to eat out for all of our meals which was very costly. The community had someone come clean the kitchen, but this individual only came with 1 linen towel and some spray so essentially she was just spreading the cockroach poop all over our belongings (yes, we found cockroach poop in our bowls, plates, etc!). Because of the lackluster cleaning job, my husband and I had to spend hours cleaning all of our belongings ourselves. I asked the community to comp 2 months rent (1 month for not being able to use the kitchen and 1 month for having to clean all our belongings, paying to eat out, smelling pesticides, etc.) and was told the most they would give was $500 (1/5th of our monthly rent). This is completely unacceptable compensation as this was a huge expense and hassle for us - not to mention disgustingly foul (they obviously don't clean your kitchen prior to move in!). I highly recommend living elsewhere (The Keswick, Brookleigh Flats, etc.) if you do not want to see nasty cockroaches crawling across your kitchen counters! I would give this place negative stars if I could.

The complex is a warm, multicultural community where anyone and everyone can feel comfortable. The major factor in making Ashford Parkside a great place to live is it's staff. Shay Heard who is in charge of the property runs a tight, friendly ship. She balances strong and firm management skills with compassion and understanding for the residents. Her staff, and I wish I had the space to name all of them from maintenance, Dwight to Renee, janitorial engineering are approachable and efficient. The front desk staff are always eager to assistant you with serious or even barely consequential matters. The neighborhood is warm and friendly and there are supermarkets in walking distance. The facility is safe and secure and I have no fear or security anxiety.

As for the apartment and the facilities, it's all very spacious and well done and has lots of touches like arched windows and bookcases. We are in a 2/2 that is @ 1400 ft.² and the layout is perfect. While the elevators are testy, we have found the rest of the amenities and facilities to be above expectation.

Over and above the stereo type amenities which all other communities have to offer- this place has a Zen area with a fountain and fire place and grills- i am not even counting how many grills-too many and i am not that great in Maths! 4) Now time to take you guys inside the apartment- The apartments are super spacious- believe me when i use the word SUPER.. Most importantly the closets- Yes i am the kinds who like my money hanging in the closet and the closet space is just perfect (by perfect i mean Huge lol). The kitchen is all Stainless everything. Hey, the ceiling fans have built in lights YAAY!!! The balcony is great too with lot of privacy. The bathrooms are so cool (by cool i mean fancy :D) with the framed vanity mirrors and lots of cabinets. 5) OCD'S like me- this place is super clean (it smells like a SPA- i am not kidding) and the maintenance staff is just so so amazing. They cater to your issues at the blink of an eye and what really touched me was that the leasing staff emails you to ensure your maintenance issue was resolved- i am a big sucker for the humanitarian touch and the staff just does it right! 6) Fitness Freaks- this place is heaven for y'all.. the gym is spread over 2 floors- promise i am not lying lol. Oh did i mention we also have a Yoga and Spin Bike room out here ;) with a self instructed Fitness on demand. Hang on- it gets better! Very frequently they organize Morning Yoga with Mimosas- can it get any better? Oh wait- i am not even mentioning all the other events- every single weekend from Wine tastings to celebrity chef preparing Omelets  and mimosas (yeah seems like they love mimosas) to handing over Chick-fil-A sandwiches outside the parking lott on a Monday morning- Monday just became MonYAY!! A Painful and Traumatizing Experience as a Black Woman…read more I have never felt so humiliated, dehumanized, and unsafe in a place I've frequented for weeks. As a Black woman, I am no stranger to discomfort in predominantly white spaces, but this experience was beyond anything I could have imagined. My friend recently moved to Atlanta and now lives in this building. I visit often, usually grabbing breakfast at the café nearby before heading over to wait for him after his shift. This time, I needed to use the restroom. Like any other human, I took my time--handling my personal needs and cleaning up after myself. I never could have predicted what would happen next. Out of nowhere, I heard the click of a key unlocking the door, followed by an aggressive bang--a terrifying knock that sent my heart racing. When I opened the door, I was met with a police officer and two other individuals staring me down. The officer immediately demanded my ID and asked if I lived there. His presence alone was jarring. I told him no, explaining that I was waiting for my friend to get off work--in just 10 minutes. But that wasn't enough. Fearful of what would happen next, I called my friend on the phone, my hands shaking. That's when a short white man with a bald head, a tattoo on his arm, and casual shorts stepped forward. He was just a resident--not security, not staff--yet he had the audacity to treat me like an intruder. He interrogated me, aggressively demanding to know who I was, who I knew, and why I was in the restroom for so long. He spoke to me as if I was a criminal, as if my existence in that building was a problem that needed to be handled. Then came a short woman in an all-blue suit with long curly hair--equally aggressive, equally invasive. They both threw accusations and questions at me like I was on trial. It didn't matter that I'd been there countless times before. It didn't matter that I was simply waiting for my friend, minding my own business. My presence--my Blackness--was enough to make them uncomfortable. At this point, the situation had escalated to something deeply disturbing. I was cornered, harassed, and treated like I was nothing. I told them I would just leave, because what else could I do? I have never been in trouble with the law, never caused an issue, never disrespected anyone. Yet I was treated like a trespasser, like a homeless person loitering on the street, like a threat that needed to be removed. I have never been so degraded, so violated, so painfully aware that my presence was unwelcome. I own a three-story townhouse, yet in that moment, they made me feel like I had no right to be anywhere near that building. They saw my Blackness and assumed the worst. This wasn't just an inconvenience. It was racism. It was discrimination. It was an attack. My friend will not be renewing his lease. I will never step foot in that place again. And I will never forget how small, how powerless, how deeply disrespected I felt in that moment.

2307- MOLD * Lived…read morehere for 5 months before having to move due to toxic mold that made my unit inhabitable. Went into anaphylaxis and now have dysautonomia. I'm currently dealing with burning skin, airway irritation, breathing issues, vision problems, and nerve sensitivity. * Multiple residents in Buildings 2 and 5 have similar mold/health issues that have publicly been reported on the portal. My unit was relisted within a week, showing no real remediation was done. * Camdens testing company failed to perform adequate testing twice and dismissed the problem, despite clear evidence and medical symptoms. So I paid $700 out of pocket for an independent certified mold inspection to find out. * I've spent thousands on medical bills, moving costs and replacing and disposing of contaminated furniture. Camden Creekstone has not reimbursed a single dollar. * They let me break my lease, offering $389 of my $1,637 for 8 days of prorated rent back (which will take 6-8 weeks by mail..maybe on foot?) * Camden Creekstone's response to serious health and safety issues was negligent, dismissive, and unsafe. Rent here at your own risk.
