The amenities are huge and nicely decorated. I really liked the Tokyo doors that some of the floor plans offer.

I am a current resident at this apartment complex, and my car was stolen from the parking deck. One…read moreof the selling qualities of this apartment complex is a gated parking deck. However, the gate to the parking deck has been broken for approximately 1 month, and the apartment has had no extra security measures put in place. My Infiniti q60, along with another resident's Infiniti q60, were stolen on March 17, 2024, at approximately 3:07 am. While the gate has been broken, there have been no onsite security officers or cameras. The investigating officer was the one who pointed out that there were no cameras throughout the deck to help with the investigation. The only way we know what time the car was stolen was because my license plate was pictured on a nearby traffic cam. Upon speaking with the complex, they only had one camera at the entrance of the deck, but they still were unable to help in any way with footage or helpful tips. When speaking to the management office about the incident, the responding leasing officers gave off the impression, "That sucks it happened, but it's not our problem." It's not the apartment's fault that my vehicle was stolen, but the lack of security measures on their end definitely plays a huge role. Along with the gate being broken, the door on the second floor that leads to the apartment complex has been broken and left wide open for about two weeks as well. Before moving to this complex, consider your overall safety. This is Atlanta, GA, and certain things should be put in place for major cities like these, but this apartment has neglected to provide anything.

If you want to live somewhere that replaces everything with damaged/used parts(literally everything) or uses caulk to patch up everything, then this is your spot. This feature is a big deal for a luxury apartment complex, considering guest parking at most other locations is extremely limited and inconvenient. II. LOCATION You're close to 285, so travel is convenient. Walmart is across the street (literally walkable). Costco, Publix, and Kroger are up the road as alternatives. You could walk to the Marta (so airport travel is convenient) and you could also walk to downtown Chamblee. This location is literally a jackpot ~ you couldn't find better. You're also by all the outstanding food culture on Buford Highway. Not to mention, left of Walmart is the "Chamblee Trail" you could utilize for walks and runs daily. III. SERVICE Maintenance is always timely and considerate about entry. The administrative team is informative and helpful via email and in person. The website for payments and maintenance calls is easy to navigate as well. Can I also mention how DOG FRIENDLY this place is? IV. QUALITY Very affordable for the luxury boho, anthropology design of the complex. You won't be disappointed in the amenities and esthetic of all the shared spaces. One issue I did encounter each summer, no matter how cleanly and spotless my space was.. was cockroaches. This means it's likely a widespread issue throughout the complex, spreading to neighboring rooms and not sourced from my area. To be transparent, it's a summer-long persistent battle, no matter what floor you're on or no matter how many times you call maintenance to call pest control. The only thing that stopped the cockroach raids was winter and cold weather. V. CAPACITY This complex is pretty high demand, not going to lie, so shoot your shot and get an apartment while you can..!

We are very excited to find Cortland North Brookhaven! Immediately upon meeting the front staff, I knew that this was the place to be. They've always been very respectful, courteous, and I ever had an issue with a maintenance issue,,they were fixing it ASAP! I really enjoyed the apartment as well, it was nicely laid out, newly renovated, and has been one of the best apartments I've ever lived in in my 52 years. They obviously take pride in what they do there. I also loved the location! So much walk ability to parks, Whole Foods, and Chamblee Greenway beltline. Not only that we got to know a bunch of the neighbors and realized that they felt the same way about this place. We have now since bought a new place since that was the plan the whole time, but we're sorry to leave the Cortland North Brookhaven. If I ever have to rent an apartment again for any reason this will be the first place I look without hesitation, and if they can't fit me in here I'm sure I would look for any Other cortland properties. Just top notch and so far ahead of their competition in the city, they rent you a home not just an apartment. Thank you again to the team at Cortland North Brookhaven!

At night when you walk around you see them running around in the stairwells. The pool area is also FULL of roaches so if you go use the firepit or grill area you will definitely see a bunch. Walls/ floors super thin also. You can hear all of your neighbors from every direction.

A Painful and Traumatizing Experience as a Black Woman…read more I have never felt so humiliated, dehumanized, and unsafe in a place I've frequented for weeks. As a Black woman, I am no stranger to discomfort in predominantly white spaces, but this experience was beyond anything I could have imagined. My friend recently moved to Atlanta and now lives in this building. I visit often, usually grabbing breakfast at the café nearby before heading over to wait for him after his shift. This time, I needed to use the restroom. Like any other human, I took my time--handling my personal needs and cleaning up after myself. I never could have predicted what would happen next. Out of nowhere, I heard the click of a key unlocking the door, followed by an aggressive bang--a terrifying knock that sent my heart racing. When I opened the door, I was met with a police officer and two other individuals staring me down. The officer immediately demanded my ID and asked if I lived there. His presence alone was jarring. I told him no, explaining that I was waiting for my friend to get off work--in just 10 minutes. But that wasn't enough. Fearful of what would happen next, I called my friend on the phone, my hands shaking. That's when a short white man with a bald head, a tattoo on his arm, and casual shorts stepped forward. He was just a resident--not security, not staff--yet he had the audacity to treat me like an intruder. He interrogated me, aggressively demanding to know who I was, who I knew, and why I was in the restroom for so long. He spoke to me as if I was a criminal, as if my existence in that building was a problem that needed to be handled. Then came a short woman in an all-blue suit with long curly hair--equally aggressive, equally invasive. They both threw accusations and questions at me like I was on trial. It didn't matter that I'd been there countless times before. It didn't matter that I was simply waiting for my friend, minding my own business. My presence--my Blackness--was enough to make them uncomfortable. At this point, the situation had escalated to something deeply disturbing. I was cornered, harassed, and treated like I was nothing. I told them I would just leave, because what else could I do? I have never been in trouble with the law, never caused an issue, never disrespected anyone. Yet I was treated like a trespasser, like a homeless person loitering on the street, like a threat that needed to be removed. I have never been so degraded, so violated, so painfully aware that my presence was unwelcome. I own a three-story townhouse, yet in that moment, they made me feel like I had no right to be anywhere near that building. They saw my Blackness and assumed the worst. This wasn't just an inconvenience. It was racism. It was discrimination. It was an attack. My friend will not be renewing his lease. I will never step foot in that place again. And I will never forget how small, how powerless, how deeply disrespected I felt in that moment.

Latisse is amazing but rest of staff could make this a better place to live. A couple of objective reasons: -Appliances are cheap: The refrigerator is very small and can barely hold enough groceries for two people, the washer and dryer are extremely loud, and you can't have two showers running at the same time longer than 10 mins (maintenance confirmed) -Management is not the most responsive and can be rude at times -The gym is poorly taken care of: there are literally holes in the wall from people stacking weights against it -No oversight of dog owners: there's booby traps of dog poo littered around the property because they never enforce cleaning up after your dog -They force you to use an inconvenient delivery service (Fetch) for $18/month which will occasionally open up your packages and always causes delays because Amazon has to ship packages to their separate location to then have people deliver it later -They force you to also use trash valet for $30, which comes inconsistently at times.

We were ready to go back to another one that we didn't really like but were just tired of searching. I must clarify that the search was for my very picky mom. Upon entering at Camden Creekstone for some reason I felt we had found the one. Alejandra welcomed us with a warm and yet professional personality and made sure she matched us with what we were looking for. They had the top floor, 2x2 close to highways phewww. Well, she assured us we were going to like the apartment they had available with our search criteria. Sure enough, upon entering the apt we loved loved it. Bright, fresh, clean and a nice layout. Did I mention washer, dryer and microwave included? Ceiling fans and lots of lighting. Both bathroom have garden tubs and the bedrooms and closets are spacious. Needless to say we went right back to the office without hesitation. The process at Camden is very smooth and hassle free. My mom is very pleased to say the least but I'm happier she gets to live in a nice apartment. Thanks, Alejandra for helping us making this process very smooth for us.

All the additional fees and paying for parking monthly was crazy with higher than normal rent. 1st I was told the apt was great with newer appliances...in 7 months I had my refrigerator, master toilet, dryer and water heater replaced. 3rd party plumbers broke a pipe where water came into my apartment. Water was turned off every month for issues. Took 3 months to get a toilet replaced in the MASTER bathroom after I had to hound the office and maintenance. Brittany was the only person that actually followed up when she said she would unlike others and I appreciate her for that. I have put in 20 plus maintenance request in 7 months. Attempted to meet with management which was a failure until I got regional management involved. They finally let me move out with no penalties and I was able to break my lease due to all these issues in a short period of living there! Best thing I could have done. The place I am now is saving me $500 a month, same floor plan, fully staffed where we are not sharing maintenance and staff with another property and they are proactive and not reactive. Had high hopes for Camden but never again.
