They had music on Saturday night with a live DJ which was nice. We were actually here twice over the three days we were in town. I ordered a Buddha salad, to be honest the rates was really bland, it really did taste like diet food. This meal had it been given a stronger dressing, maybe a sun dried tomato dressing, it would have increased the flavour profile to a new level. But it came with a tasteless tahini I think... The shishito pepper were nice, but the portion was incredibly small, even though it tasted good, it just wasn't bang for buck... $11 for 8 small peppers. The star of the show was the Buddha pizza. This is what we came here two nights in a row for! This pizza has a ton of topping, they weren't stingy by any means! The perfect balance between salty meats and spicy peppers, thin crust, and a delicious sauce! Omg wow! I'm considering moving here for this thing alone! We ordered the passion fruit marg, it was very tasty, but it wasn't slushy like I expected it to be. I think it was a mix or alcohols and passion fruit juice. I enjoyed it quite a bit! Our waitstaff was a young person with yellow hair, nose piercing in the middle of the nose, and they were just amazing! We ordered some items at separate times, and they were just on top of it all. Our food came in a timely manner, they didn't write anything down, and the joint was BUSY! I was so impressed with our server! I haven't experienced customer service like this in a while, so I really do want to give a huge shoutout thank you to you.

The flavours all complimented each other really well and while it seemed like the lentils and chickpeas would be a weird combination with pasta and rice, it all came together really well. Service was really good, and they gave some bread and garlic butter while we waited for our meals. I do have to warn that the prices are a bit steep - my bf and I were tempted to pass on getting dinner from here when seeing the prices but decided to stay and try it out anyways. He ordered the lobster ravioli and it was around 36 dollars and was only 3-4 pieces of ravioli which was definitely not enough for an entree, but this is common I find with lobster/seafood dishes so I am still going to give 4 stars because my meal was a large portion and was very delicious.

So it's a cute little place with some pretty good food, but the dinner price is outrageous. The…read moreEgyptian pasta was good and the portion was more fair. But the Lobster Ravioli was $36 and you get THREE pieces of thing ravioli. Had to go get more food after eating it. 3 pieces!!! I could buy a whole delicious lobster for that price....or at least a big juicy tail with sides and very nice restaurants. Come on...this is Sudbury, what's up with that?

WTF Sudbury!! what a big disappointment…read more We went out for a nice dinner and saw this very appealing place called Oscar's and we thought we'd try it. we were directed towards a table and were served by Anthony who was very nice. He assisted us with a good choice of wine. We ordered our foods and got our soup in due time. It was good. Then we waited and waited and waited. We inquired about the main course and 1.5 hours later they had not started on "fish and chips and Caesar salad"?? People that arrive after us had food served. We cancelled the main course and the manager was not very accommodating nor sympathetic towards our situation. We paid and left. I cannot recommend the food as we never got it, but the service needs adjustment. Good luck... businesses like this don't last very long. it's too bad as Sudbury really needs to up their eatery establishment.

But we had just eaten next door. So here we are ready to people watch and enjoy the music. But no. The 'windows ' were closed. The ambiance was subdued. We inquired about the difference and was given a snarky response about the heat and humidity and that maybe later they would open things up. Food*****The El Diablo.... (Dang it!) EL FUEGO.. got mixed reviews at our table. Two of our party ordered it, and one inhaled it, while the other was disappointed that 'jalapeño bacon' wasn't the same as 'jalapeño AND bacon'. I made the same mistake while reading the menu. My husband ordered the ribs, and couldn't stop going on about how good the slaw was. So much more than cabbage, if you have never tried it you should give it a go. I had the Santa Fe salad. With descriptions like 'roasted ' and 'grilled ' I expected a warm dish with the flavor profiles of SoCal-Tex-Mex. I was surprised when I was served a ice cold chilled dish that consisted mostly of quinoa tossed in a very sweet vinaigrette. (****edit: looks like they changed the name and description of this menu item. Eliminating any confusion) No worries. My lunch the next day was left over Santa Fe with added corn, chickpeas, more cilantro and fresh lemon juice. (There are no leftovers). If you go there at the right time the windows are wide open and prime for fresh air and people watching.

Got new fries and they were not good either they were Grey in color and not fully cooked. The ribs were dry and really hard to eat. I ate 3 to see if it was just the end piece and then did not eat the remaining of them. I attempted to feed them to the dog and she turned her nose up to them. (Not a fussy dog)The cesear salad was dry hardly any dressing on it. Only little tiny pieces of bacon no bigger then little parsley flakes only 6 pieces. Was really disappointed in the quality of food. 80$ wasted for one person to eat. I was also dissatisfied with the fact that 5%of my tip to the server went to the kitchen considering the server had to bring the fries back for 3 people at the table. I will not be returning to Overtime. I do not recommend going.
