was so happy the accepted walk ins last minute, I booked with Ella because I loved her work and wanted something fine line, she was so accommodating and sweet, she made time for extra tattoos I was interested in getting and was super patient. I would 100% recommend and even flying back out to Maui or wherever she ends up just to see her and get more done by her :) reasonable pricing too!! Couldn't recommend more. read more

My friend and I stopped in as walk-ins yesterday and Francine did both of ours. She was phenomenal every step of the way! I came in just wanting a small little anchor on my wrist but also wanted a little something more. What she came up with was so pretty, yet simple and I couldn't be happier with it! My friend got a more detailed/ complex cathedral piece and it turned out absolutely stunning. If you're looking for a fabulous tattoo artist on the island, definitely go book with her. Thanks again Francine! read more

I can't say enough good things about tattoo artist, Marc Cabos! From the moment I walked in, he made me feel completely at ease. Not only is his work absolutely STUNNING--with incredible attention to detail--but his personality is just as impressive. Kind, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what he does. What really stood out to me was how well Marc listened to what I wanted. He took the time to understand my vision and made thoughtful suggestions to bring it to life even better than I imagined. Throughout the entire process, he followed every safety protocol, keeping everything clean, professional, and comfortable. If you're looking for a tattoo artist who combines top-tier artistry with a warm, welcoming vibe, this is your person. I'm beyond happy with my tattoo and already looking forward to my next session with Marc. You can find his work on Instagram @marccabos808 Mahalo, Marc, for being so awesome!!!! read more

Francine did the absolute most amazing memorial tattoo I could have ever hoped for. She was kind, listened to the story behind it and the aesthetic I was hoping for, and then took everything to the next level. Not only did she do the best job of any of my tattoos so far, but we had a good time during the entire appointment. I hope to get many more tattoos from this wholly amazing artist. read more

Brandon and the entire crew at The Dark Arts Collective are INCREDIBLE! Not only did Brandon accommodated me last minute, he was communicative (working on perfecting my tattoo via text), BEYOND accommodating, and not to mention an INCREDIBLE artist. I LOVE my tattoo; his line work is crisp, he's super quick, and extremely thorough. I am already planning my next visit to Maui, and will be seeing Brandon again for additional work. I am always nervous seeing a new artist, if you're in from out of town and thinking of getting a tattoo... this is the place!!! Thanks Brandon, and the crew at The Dark Arts Collective. -Kris and Kevin (Portland, Oregon) read more

If you're looking for artists who have years of experience under their belts, look no further. I went to Brandon because of his reputation. I followed his Instagram page for a while and loved his style. He was super easy to work with and communicated with me before my appointment. It was my first tattoo, so I was a little nervous. But, his calm demeanor and expertise put me at ease. He talked story with me throughout my appointment and made me feel super comfortable. The end result was stunning. He created a beautiful piece that I get compliments on all the time. I will definitely be back for more! read more

Francine is a phenomenal artist and her line work is drool worthy. She has created two AMAZING pieces of art for me. One was four, 4hr sessions, the other was two sessions, totaling 9 hours in the end. For both pieces I gave her a kinda vague concept and she me freaking magic. I get compliments literally weekly... but more importantly I felt comfortable, cared for and heard over all the sessions and consultations! read more

Brandon and Ella were so kind to our family of 5 yesterday. We were on a last minute trip to Maui and they got us all in for memorable tattoos that were beautiful and we made a great memory. read more

When I tell you we came here on a WHIM. Like most others, it was the last day of vacation on the island and we wanted to get tattoos. We were taken in as walk-ins immediately which was nice. It was also the 4th Friday of the month, a day they do $50 specials!! This was honestly a huge draw for us, as quality tattoos are very expensive. For the deal, you have to choose something from their book, but they had literally everything so it was not hard to find something similar to my original ideas. The options are also customizable, which helps. Erwin did my tattoo and I could not have asked for more. He was very patient as I figured out what I wanted and where, he was also talking me through the entire experience. I have several tattoos, but I appreciated his attention to detail more than anything. He asked questions, and made recommendations. Something that stood out about this place was the needle options - my experience has been finding someone specifically for fine line tattoos. This shop had every size needle, and I loved that. My friend also loved her tattoo by Brandon, and we cant wait to come back next time were in Maui. Highly highly recommend!! read more

Found Dark Arts Collective when looking to get a tattoo while on vacation in Maui. Didn't want a flash tattoo or stereotypical tattoo and this place looked promising for custom work. Ended up getting a tattoo with Brandon and the rest is history. Flew back to Maui a few months later to start a sleeve and will never stop going to Brandon for all of my future tattoos. He's an experienced and talented artist who can do just about anything that you ask of him. Highly recommend! read more

Brandon is not only a talented tattoo artist, he's such a nice guy too. Tattoo shops can be filled with bros who are too cool for school. Not here. They are talented, kind and considerate people who understands that customer service and communication is at the core of every business. This is a business that lives the spirit of Aloha.
