Had questions and made an appointment and the owner Raylyn wouldn't even give me the time of day but walked as she talked. When I asked if she could stop she said she had more important things to do. Really? Apparently caring for your students is not one of them. Since then I've met more parents who have said the exact same thing - they all pulled their kids out. Apparently it's a well know secret - she's is terrible and the teacher are not friendly or nice. Fake. My daughter said the place is very dirty and they are snobs - we have no interest is ever going back.

I am coming at this at two different angles because this dance studio incorporates more than what…read morewe think of as a traditional dance studio. As a male adult dancer I have found a great group of dancers, adults, and friends! I recently moved into the town and they were quick to accept me into their family. The owner Melissa allowed for me to first take a class for free so that I can try it out and see if it was what I was looking for. The girls in the class were great and the instructor quickly pushed my limits. It's not that easy to find adult classes nearby without having to go into the city. The other great part about this studio is how they have also incorporated therapeutic classes for children with disabilities. It is great being able to see these group of kids come together, as well as, feel like a part of the team since inclusion is also being practiced.

Just saw the last review, I don't think the director meant any harm and I'm pretty sure she probably took care of it, but this was in like 2016 when I wasn't there. However. Tonight during dress rehearsals a father of one students thought it ok to walk through the dressing area where 13-14-15 yr old girls were changing costumes. His child is 8-9 but he felt it ok apparently to walk into a room of exposed young teen girls. This is not appropriate and when I addressed it with the father his response was "so what." When I brought it up to the director of the studio I was told it was a harmless mistake and she'd take care of it. Then, during the trophy ceremony my child was left in the down stairs waiting area where the younger children are supervised and no one went to get her so she could receive her trophy. So my child missed out on the recognition of a trophy that took her yrs to earn. She was very upset. She's only 9. This is not in any way- shape or form acceptable. I will no longer allow my child to attend this school. They do NOT take proper precautions to protect the rights and privacy of their under aged dancers. It very disappointed and quite frankly- disgusted. I'll be finding a more suitable and safe studio for my child to train in. I'll never use or recommend this business again.

My perspective is only for very young children just learning about dance, I would say you can find better options. Seems perhaps more tailored for higher end students looking to excel in actually becoming dancers, and that is great. But smaller children seemed to get short shrift at every turn. A 2 hour recital where they got to dance for 90 seconds, while the teacher herself danced numerous numbers would be one example. Anyway just one non-experts opinion.

Every member of the staff here finds a way to allow any person, whether they're cast or crew, to shine and take charge, providing incredible leadership opportunities and experiences along the way. The Directors and DIT's (Directors in Training) were so kind, patient, and fun to work with. The company has an extremely organized drop off and pick up procedure. As she put it, she's got the Theater bug now, and can't wait to do more shows!
