C-Zone is fantastic!!! Sheldon Gentles was our DJ and we also used the photo booth. Cannot recommend highly enough. I attended a wedding many years ago in CA with a professional celebrity DJ - I had always wanted a DJ at that level but figured in MA that simply wouldn't be possible. I was ecstatic to find that Sheldon Gentles is INCREDIBLE and at that level of being a phenomenal DJ. Sheldon reads the energy of the room so well. Where to begin!! My husband and I just got married last weekend and we are completely blown away with every aspect of C-Zone Entertainment. Max Baun was our DJ and we actually knew about him from a cousins wedding the year prior. Once we got engaged, we were trying to think of the best "dance party" and music at a wedding that we have been to and we instantly remembered Max and asked for his contact info. From day one, everyone at C-Zone and DJ Max were extremely responsive. They made all of our meetings extremely convenient with sending online meeting invites, letting us choose if we'd like to meet in person or via FaceTime/phone, and truly ironing out every last detail. Max got to know us as a couple and the types of music we liked, didn't like, etc. Max was with us every step of the way and made sure he knew everything he needed to prior to our big day. Each transition from the ceremony, to the outdoor cocktail hour and then the reception- Max killed it. We even had 2 of our friends sing and play guitar to our first dance and he made sure sound check went smoothly and ensured that everything went seamlessly. Onto the dance party! Everyone left a sweaty mess and one of our guests even commented that "That DJ slapped!!!" Not 100% sure what that means, but I think it's good We will be talking about how incredible Max was for the rest of our lives and will always recommend C-Zone and DJ Max. Paul Granata went above and beyond during our entire engagement process! C-Zone has the bride and groom fill out an online form so that everyone is on the same page. Once we completed that, Paul took the reins and made sure he knew the type of music and style of dance both of us, and our guests would enjoy. What really made Paul the best fit for us was the fact that he played multiple instruments. While we decided to not have him play guitar during the ceremony, he was willing and able to meet with my uncle, who was going to be singing, to produce a one-of-a-kind piece for when I walked down the aisle. Paul also edited songs for the father/daughter and first dance, making our visions truly come to life. Even though we were probably one of his many weddings, he made us feel like we were the only clients around. He would set up 1-2 hour phone calls to go over every detail and even helped us put a spreadsheet together for all the events on the wedding day. I hope in the future, we can work with Paul again and tap into his musical talent a little more because I know our guests would have really enjoyed that! C-Zone Entertainment (Max in particular) was one of the best vendor decisions my husband and I made for our wedding last month. From the beginning of planning, C-Zone was super responsive and made planning our music easy with their portal (and even after the portal closed, Max made it easy to visualize and plan our ceremony and reception over a phone call a couple days before the wedding). Some pretty huge COVID-related monkey wrenches were thrown at us the day of the wedding, and Max made last-minute adjustments to the ceremony and reception with ease. Max played every song we wanted (no matter how obscure) during the ceremony and reception, and made sure everything transitioned flawlessly to keep people on the dance floor. We had an absolute blast, and everyone from guests to our officiant raved at how amazing a DJ Max is. My husband and I had DJ Kevin at our wedding on October 3rd and could have not been more pleased!! We booked C-Zone off a recommendation from a friend who is also a wedding DJ but was in our wedding. Booking DJ Kevin was the BEST and Easiest decision we made during the process!!! He was down to earth and super easy to work with. After a few meetings we felt like he was more like a friend and really knew what we wanted. Our main goal was to have everyone on the dance floor all night, and that goal was easily met. He played a variety of music for everyone and no one sat down! Kevin was friendly, well dressed and energized! He even reminded us to eat at our wedding before we didn't have time to and we appreciated that!!! Of all the feedback we have gotten since the wedding, the best has been about DJ Kevin. Everyone said it was the funnest wedding they had been to and that their legs hurt the next day from dancing so much. If we had to do it all over again some of the vendors may have changed but defiantly not the DJ. My husband and I could not have been any happier with DJ Kevin. 10 Stars if that was an option!! read more

C-Zone is the best! We worked with Greg Capozzi for our wedding, and the entire experience was amazing. Greg Capozzi is a former CLUB DJ!!! I think that was the main reason we decided to go with him. I'm a young bride, so it was important to me to have a very cool dance floor. He gave the dance floor almost a club feel - but without detracting from the romance of the night. Everyone dancing had a LOT of fun! He kept people out on the dance floor the whole night. Greg goes above and beyond. When we were choosing what songs we wanted for the introduction of the bride and groom, we chose a romantic song. He emailed us and pointed out that since we chose an upbeat song for the introduction of the bridal party, that a romantic song for our introduction would ruin the energy and be less dramatic. Such a good point - and something that I don't think many other DJ's would have even thought of when just skimming through the selected list of songs! We also wanted a lot of Caribbean music played at our wedding, but they weren't on iTunes. Greg went out of his way to spend a lot of time finding the ones we wanted and downloading them. I'm not even sure how he did it because I myself couldn't find the calypsos anywhere to download - I had just been given the titles of the songs from my family. He could have easily said he couldn't play these songs because they were difficult to find, but instead he took the extra time to make our wedding great. He also found other Caribbean music in addition to the songs we wanted, which was awesome. He was so accommodating and organized. The morning of the wedding, we decided to change our first dance song, but I could only find a version with applause and cheering at the beginning. The fact that he checks his email frequently enough to notice our email and the fact that he actually took the time to edit out the applause and cheering just shows how hardworking he is. I used to think that DJ-ing was just about choosing songs, but I came to realize that it was so much more. For example (I'm just explaining this to demonstrate the value of a good DJ), it's very important for one song to go smoothly into the next one, so that there's no lull between the two, and so that the tempos are the same in order for people to keep dancing. The DJ thus has to change the tempo of the second song to match the first once, then gradually change it back to the normal tempo. Greg is so great at mixing songs together, which again gave the dance floor a club feel! The C-Zone website was excellent and very well organized. You can easily select songs from an extensive database for the different events like bridal procession, cutting the cake, etc. You can also enter the scheduling of the reception so that the DJ can make sure everything runs according to plan. One last thing - I was working on a very tight budget, and I chose to go with C-Zone because it was very reasonably priced. Overall, I was thrilled with my experience, and wholeheartedly recommend them! read more

My husband and I were married in June and were lucky enough to have DJ Shyne (& assistant DJ) work our wedding! From the first point of contact with C-Zone, we could tell that they were a very professional and organized company. We had two Facetime calls with DJ Shyne prior to the big day and that was all it took for him to provide the BEST service and create our perfect playlist. I recently used Max Baun from C-Zone Music and I have to say he was AMAZING!!! HE MADE MY WEDDING WONDERFUL!!!! When I first got engaged I had a nightmare that I had a DJ who played all horrible music at my wedding and I woke up in a cold sweat. Seriously, (Im a control freak about music, especially when it came to my wedding.) I told Max this in our first conversation and he assured me hed play what I wanted. Throughout the months leading up to my wedding I heard horror stories of bad djs playing horrible music, or not playing what people asked them too, or just not showing up for weddings! I was so scared. I took lots of time arranging what I wanted played and was in communication with Max up until the day before the wedding. HE IS AWESOME. He is soooo nice and cool and put up with my craziness, (hell, Id hang out with him if I lived in Mass.) I cannot say enough great things about him. He knew exactly the kind of vibe I wanted at my wedding and I would use him again over and over and over. All my guests were dancing the whole time and he was so professional about everything, I cant say enough about him. He also brought an assistant that was very nice and helpful as well. Greg Capozzi at C-Zone did a wonderful job on our wedding this past month! He stayed true to our musical preferences, all the while keeping the dance floor packed. There was always a balance of generations on the dance floor, which was appreciated by everyone. We also really enjoyed having a live duo during cocktail hour (Greg on sax plus a guitarist)... it was a really nice addition to our wedding, and we're thrilled that Greg's guidance and pricing pushed us to take advantage of that option. At the end of the night, he even gave us a CD of all of songs he played that night! It was a nice touch that we enjoyed listening to on the way back from our honeymoon. We were paired with Sheldon and we truly couldn't be happier. From the start, Sheldon was responsive, set up times to meet, kept in touch and truly understood the vibe we wanted for the party. My wife and I engaged Charles for our wedding outside of Providence, RI in June. We could not have been happier with the entire experience of working with Charles. We live in Chicago, but the majority of our friends and family live in the Northeast, hence the east coast wedding. Charles made remote planning very easy. He was extremely flexible with scheduling time to speak over the phone and his online planning tools were great. He is also able to find just about any song you could want. We had some specific music we wanted (and didn't want) to hear at the wedding, but mostly only had a general theme of the music (newer pop hits mixed with some rat pack & Motown for the older people at the wedding). We gave Charles the freedom to pick the songs in these genres and to go back and forth to make sure all demographics were properly engaged, and he rewarded us by making sure the dance floor was always packed and everyone at the reception heard some of the music they love. The best thing about Charles is that unlike a lot of other DJs, he never made the reception about him. He kept his MC'ing to a very appropriate amount, didn't totally drown out people engaging in conversation with the volume level and was able to accommodate requests on the fly. He basically saved my wife and I from a large amount of extra planning by taking the time to understand the reception we wanted and executing it to perfection. We first had Max for my sister's wedding in Boston and liked him so much that we decided to fly him to Chicago to DJ my wedding the following year. When we told people we were flying our DJ in from Boston all of your guests had very high expectations, but Max blew those out of the water. The biggest compliment we got from our wedding was how great the DJ was and how people never left the dance floor. We had DJ Dolo (John Dolan) from C-Zone at our wedding and he was AMAZING! The right DJ CAN make all the difference at your wedding and he certainly did for us! Starting from the beginning, contacting C-Zone and working with Julie in the office, things couldn't have been easier or more professional. Then I got to meet John to see if we were a good fit and discuss music. How many DJ's come out to meet you to discuss your vision for the day and make sure they're the right fit? If they're from C-Zone they do! From there you go on to develop playlists and further refine what you want to hear...keeping in touch with them all the way. I've never known a business to be so insanely attentive about weddings (in the best way possible). They never stressed me out, never made me feel like I was choosing bad music or taking too long to finish my playlists, but were kind and supportive and amazingly chill the whole time. Knowing I was working with a pro who doesn't just do weddings but also has regular gigs in local clubs was also awesome...I was able to sample his style and follow him on Twitter, getting a real sense of what he does. Day of the wedding, John met us outside our venue right before our entrance to ensure everything would run smoothly, and have the timing down to the second, then, he kept us dancing all night long (I kid you not, we had him from 5pm-2am and we danced until the very LAST song)! We really wanted to dance at our wedding and not have some blah dance floor...our friends, even the ones from NYC, couldn't say enough about how awesome the experience was...because that's what it was, an experience. Worked with Greg for my wedding at Warren Conference Center in Ashland. We had an awesome guitarist for our ceremony. Greg and two others formed a jazz trio for our cocktail hour and dinner hour. They were amazing and it made the cocktail hour and dinner feel very classy and upbeat. He stayed away from anything Sinatra-like per my request! We also got great uplighting and a fun photobooth through him. The photobooth attendant also had a guest book where she taped the pictures and encouraged guests to leave messages, which is much better than my actual guest book which everyone ignored. I am not a dancer but Greg had the everyone dancing all night while he DJed. Was very good about sticking with my music preferences. Throughout the whole planning process Greg was professional and fun to work with. I had no idea what I wanted but everything turned out perfectly with his helpful suggestions. I cannot recommend Dj Max highly enough!!! Czone was recommended to us by our caterer, and it was the BEST decision we made. DJ Max perfectly captured the mix of old and new songs we were going for, and because he mixed the beat so perfectly, nobody left the dance floor all night long, including us!! We had Max Baun as our DJ for our wedding at Belle Mer on 11/22/14 and I truly cannot say enough great things about this talented man! My husband and I are big music buffs from NYC so initially we were a little nervous going into this since we knew that music would be a huge factor in creating a successful wedding. Max surpassed ALL of our expectations. Throughout the whole planning process, Diane from C-Zone was extremely accommodating and attentive to our requests. She was detailed in explaining the whole process to us and extremely organized (a bride appreciates that!). The online planning form was simple to use and a helpful tool in organizing our songs & wedding timeline. When we met Max, we knew we had the right DJ to accommodate our lively, party animal crowd. He absolutely killed it!! I loved how he mixed every song into each other, I felt like we were at a NYC nightclub. The dance floor was packed all night and we received endless compliments on how great the music was. My wedding coordinator even said to me during the night that they never felt Belle Mer's building shake so hard!! Being from NY, we are used to seeing multiple people working the DJ booth. Max was the jack of all trades that night being both the DJ & MC for us and it went off without a hitch. We also did our uplighting through C-Zone and I was very impressed with the technology of the wireless uplighting and how Max was able to control it through his iPad. We went with a dark blue color and it made the room glow beautifully. The entire planning process was an enjoyable experience and I felt like we formed a wonderful friendship with Max. He is a COOL dude. You can tell that music is his passion and he is very well versed in the music industry. He was accommodating to every request we had on our form and also provided recommendations for us. I felt like he understood our "style" of music and was able to deliver everything we spoke about. He also gave us a CD with our formal music from the ceremony/reception which I thought was a nice touch - I listen to it and it brings me back to those special moments. When you plan a wedding there are many moving parts, but this was one vendor I felt I never had to worry about.They made the whole process practically seamless for us. C-Zone is the best out there... pick them and you are guaranteed to have the best party of your life. We worked with Greg Capozzi, the owner, and it was the best decision we made. He works with his wife Diane, and the two make an incredible team! We loved working with them from the start. First off, their website is so much more organized than others that I talked to. They have a database that allows you to sign in and make playlists, organize all of your information for your ceremony and reception in a most logical, clear way, making sure that you get to pick what you want or do not want at your wedding. I think all DJs should have this, it made it SO EASY and FUN to plan our music! We met at a Starbucks for our meeting and he helped us brainstorm ideas when we were stuck, knowing lots of tunes that went with the vibe we were going for. He was very great at listening to what we wanted and picking other things that went along with that. He is truly a musician above anything (he plays the sax in bands too) so he really has an ear for music and an appreciation for it, he is able to mix songs and make everything interesting.... This is not a DJ who just throws on a playlist! He was able to read the crowd and mix it up perfectly so that everyone was dancing from my youngest cousin to my grandparents (who were on the dance floor until 11:30pm!!!!) He got EVERYONE up dancing which can be hard to do at a wedding, in fact I have never been to a wedding where everyone was having such a good time!! At the end of the night, we got a CD compilation of the songs we picked for our traditional wedding moments (bouquet toss, first dance, cake cutting, ceremony, etc) plus some of the best dancing songs of the night! We came home after the honeymoon and danced around to the CD, reliving the moments all over again, and of course I teared up! It will be so nice to have this a few years from now and be able to relive it over and over again.
