Both guys were friendly and very approachable. We booked well in advance and explained the feel we wanted to create with lighting and music. I feel like if there were one thing I'd change about the wedding would have been the DJ or better communicating to ensure that clear boundaries were established. Again, we chose to have an untraditional wedding that was very interactive. The ceremony went perfect. For cocktail hour, I provided over an hours worth of music from our favorite movies, television shows and video games. It was fun! I wasn't intending for this music to be played again during dinner. If this was the case I would have created a much longer playlist so that songs weren't repeated. One guest mentioned that they counted one song playing more than twice! Isn't this a faux pas in the DJ world? The moms decided at the last minute to change the grand entrance and he made mistakes announcing several names. We gave out nerf guns as favors and we were happy to see Shane enjoying himself and interacting with guests. However, I wish he would have been more professional and not gotten as swept away in the fun because we later found out that he accidentally hit my aunt in the face and laughed about it (he did apologize to her and it was okay). In addition, the venue had globe lights up high which he admitted to sticking several darts to. Other guests saw this and started using them as targets too. The venue was concerned about the fragile nature of the globes and thought they may have to keep the deposit (it was okay in the end). He announced the cake cutting would happen soon but I had to remind him to do it about a half hour later when guests started to take cupcakes from the tower. We loved the lighting and the monogram on the dance floor. We love that Shane and Paul embraced our not so traditional ideas and helped to make our day special. I just wish that things were a bit more polished. Overall, we were satisfied with the service.

It was still not ready after Bathsheba, and they couldn't give us an approximate time also would not give partial refund. It could be a fun place but it's just a giant hazard now. I purchased a couple of the chickens they raise and I can tell you they were just delicious! My wife and daughter are from China and find American chicken to be lacking in flavor. They loved this chicken and I have been advised to go buy a couple more. We have over-bred our chickens and we feed them who knows what so they get big and plump but have no flavor. These chicken are raised is a fenced in pasture I saw myself, and they move the enclosure around to give them fresh pasture periodically. I will be trying the eggs next when I go buy myself a couple more chickens and will provide feedback on the eggs,

I all but gave up on the thing until my friends told me about Cranky's. For a very reasonable fee, Greg worked on the frets, tremolo, tuning heads, saddles, and gave it a thorough cleaning. She now plays BETTER than in 1995, and I'm happy to report has taken its place as my main axe again! As far as I'm concerned, this is the only place that I will trust with my dearest guitars. A very dear friend of mine officiated at a wedding held at Mulberry Vineyards and she invited me…read moreout to sample their current selection recently. When I arrived she and her husband were having a very genial conversation with the owner Dave at the outdoor seating area. The vineyard is clearing some land and the entrance drive, at the time of my visit, was strewn with downed timber and a large dirt parking area at the end. There is a sign on the street pointing you into the driveway. Once the introductions were over Dave told us about the vineyards he has and the one's he plans to plant. Where he gets grapes from and how he produces his wine. We walked in to the converted barn which is beautifully decorated with a large bar in the center and comfortable seating areas around the perimeter. They have a rack of bottles ready to be sold and a gift box display. The day we went there were four or five wines available. Once a type has sold out, it's done for the season so those who know and like Dave's wine know when to head over to make their purchases. Some offerings are ready in Spring while others are not available until Autumn. I ended up purchasing two bottles each of three of the available wines. The Riesling is a bit dry and not too sweet. Lovely. The Cab had a nice 'full mouth' feel to it and a clean finish. I have been disappointed by other RI wine producers and to be honest I didn't have high expectations. I was very pleasantly surprised. We also had an opportunity to meet Dave's wife and children. This is truly a family business. With each new arrival, Dave made a point to say hello, get their name, tell them his and pour them a glass. We sampled each of the available wines but others came in just to enjoy a glass. The atmosphere was such that everyone was chatty with each other even though we were strangers. It made for a very enjoyable visit. This vineyard is in the woods and the drive up is just beautiful along winding back roads. On a beautiful, sunny Saturday, it made for a very enjoyable day. If I could suggest just one thing it would be to offer a small snack. This may be a sticky wicket as they are a wine producer, not a restaurant and I'm sure that brings up a whole other set of laws. During our visit his 'intern' showed up with a spinach and pepperoni calzone which he offered all around. It was just delightful and I was very happy to have something to eat after sampling several wines. Maybe next time I'll just bring along a snack to share. I hope that's OK.
