Although my daughter will now be dancing for her high school dance team we will always have a special place in our heart for Miss Heejins! My daughter learned so much from dance technique to stage presence and everything in between! The confidence that she built as a dancer has been truly remarkable to watch. There are many dance studios in our area to consider but what I can tell you is that Miss Heejins is a notch above the rest. When at competitions, my husband and I would always be in awe of how sharp and incredible the Miss Heejin dances were. Sure other studios are good but theres a difference. We would call it the Miss Heejin snap! Clean, sharp, precise, and just pure talent! When my daughter faced challenges, Miss Heejin showed up! She went above and beyond to be there for her and help in ways that we will always be grateful for. Miss Heejin, Miss Laura, and all the staff at Miss Heejins, thank you and we will miss you all!

We decided on a ballet-themed party. On the day of the party, Biliana and her team allowed us to come in one hour ahead to set up. They had already decorated with delicate tulle banners, and adorned my daughter's seat in a beautiful tulle skirt. All the tables and chairs were already set up. The place is spacious and clean. They make sure everyone is having fun, including the parents. We had a rather elaborate cake table, and they constantly pitched in to help us. The kids were led in a ballet lesson, which they loved, and a series of games. The kids LOVED it! They helped us take group photos with the ballerina, who was lovely to work with, as well as serving pizza, cake, and cleaning up. It was the best birthday we have ever hosted outside of our home, and every child loved every minute. So thankful to have this gem of a place in Brookline.

At the recent showcase, Bubnelis tried to make a joke (to the entire school) of her inability to control her temper. Perhaps there is a place for coaches yelling at teenagers, but it is never okay for coaches to yell at younger children, particularly not in front of a class of their peers. If we could give Yulia Bubnelis and Dance Stream Studio zero stars, we would.

Patti, the teacher, is very motivating and pleasant to be around. I have no background of this, but used to do ballet so some of it was familiar. It was a smaller class, so I enjoyed being able to ask questions and get some good mirror time. I was surprised that I felt like I got a really good work out (specially my legs and feet!) and the one hour class was perfect. There's 2 studio's, which is always a plus, and I got to watch little mini ballet girls while I was waiting (so adorable). The waiting area is small, but besides that, it's easy to get to, easy parking and enjoyable. I'm excited to maybe try out some other classes as well. :)
