I had to stop the conversation immediately and walk out. I've never, and I mean NEVER, been talked to like that by an employee of a business. I was doing a favor for a friend who'd been in a minor fender bender and was in the hospital for an unrelated condition. She'd already gotten an estimate from him. She asked me to go back to him to get a modified, LOWER...estimate since the insurance company wanted to total her perfectly driveable car. That seemed doable but the employee started talking to me like he was an angry, immature teenager with a bad attitude. It's pretty bad when you're the potential customer and you have more civility, manners, and professionalism than the employee and apparent owner.
