I ordered the FBI steak and WOW... better than some fancy steakhouses I've been to. Cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Service was super friendly and polite, which made the experience even better. They also have a solid selection of drinks and a good variety of beer on tap -- definitely didn't expect that out here! Tried walleye for the first time too -- really tasty! Just a heads-up: the seasoning on everything is pretty mild, so you might want to add a little salt, pepper, or ranch depending on your taste. If you're driving through, don't miss this place!

I was in Pierre on business and discovered Bob's Lounge while out for a jog. I love local dives…read moreand Bob's reminds me of everything that is right about local bars. The bartender was very friendly, and I struck up a conversation with most of the regulars sitting at the bar. Everyone was friendly and genuine. That can be difficult to find today. They had about four beers on draft and whatever else you might want in cans or bottles. I am not a liquor guy, but it looked like they had whatever you need to get the job done. The thing that made my visit to Bob's most worthwhile actually happened after I left. As I was walking back to my hotel, one of the local who was at the bar (but who I had not spoken to) stopped and asked if I needed a ride. Amazing. I highly recommend Bob's Lounge.

The location is hard to beat, sitting right along the Missouri River. I've eaten both inside and outside and had a great experience either way. The patio is wonderful on a nice day, but the huge windows inside still give you a beautiful view of the river if you'd rather be indoors. I've been here several times and genuinely haven't ordered anything I didn't like. There's always something new to try, seems like they try to change up the menu/refresh the options oftThey also have a great drink selection, and I've had a lot of fun splitting some of their fishbowl drinks with friends on past visits. Another thing I love about the location is the trail running right along the river, which connects to hotels nearby and makes Drifters an easy walk if you're staying in the area. ALSO every time I come they have a few new menu items, I appreciate how there's always something new to try. The service is always wonderful in my experience, very friendly and helpful staff! Will continue to come back!

The coffee shop inside was probably one of the cutest coffee shops I have ever seen - whoever designed it did a very good job. I also loved the candles inside and little shops!! I am def going to order some of the candles online.
