The ambiance inside the restaurant was casual and comfortable. I ordered the ribeye steak with the Kick Ass Beans. The meal came with a green salad that included tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons, and crackers. The ranch dressing was delicious! My meal also came with a biscuit that was a little spicy, I must say! The steak was perfectly cooked and had great flavor. The Kick Ass Beans were sweet and contained a wide variety of beans, along with corn. Delicious! They offer unsweetened iced tea, although it isn't freshly brewed on-site. I believe it comes from a machine. My server was attentive, friendly, and helpful. Even though the restaurant was busy, my meal arrived surprisingly quickly. Overall, my dining experience was lovely. I will definitely be back!

Not like there's a lot of other choices around here. We ordered two chicken sandwiches and I had the broasted chicken tenders....and let me tell you. Those might have been the best chicken strips I've ever had in my life, no exaggeration. The outside was perfectly crispy and not overly oily. The chicken inside was amazingly juicy, tender, and had good flavor. And they had a tasty Filipino hot sauce at the table along with the ketchup. It did take a while to come out, enough for us to almost go up and check on the food. So I'm not sure if it's because they were perfecting the chicken inside the back...because it was as close to perfect as I've had! It was fine as we enjoyed the small town feel of people coming in and out on a first name basis. It really seemed like the happening place in town. So if you ever find yourself coming through the area, I highly recommend stopping for some broasted chicken at Roadside Food and Fuel!

They also have a solid selection of drinks and a good variety of beer on tap -- definitely didn't expect that out here! Tried walleye for the first time too -- really tasty!
