You never know if a place like this will be gone next year or if it will still be going strong for the next 50+ years! I got a cherry Frosty Whip, which is kind of an ice cream slush. It was good. Other family members got a banana split cyclone and a peanut butter shake. Everyone was happy and satisfied. Prices were reasonable, service was fast and friendly.

Not like there's a lot of other choices around here. We ordered two chicken sandwiches and I had the broasted chicken tenders....and let me tell you. Those might have been the best chicken strips I've ever had in my life, no exaggeration. The outside was perfectly crispy and not overly oily. The chicken inside was amazingly juicy, tender, and had good flavor. And they had a tasty Filipino hot sauce at the table along with the ketchup. It did take a while to come out, enough for us to almost go up and check on the food. So I'm not sure if it's because they were perfecting the chicken inside the back...because it was as close to perfect as I've had! It was fine as we enjoyed the small town feel of people coming in and out on a first name basis. It really seemed like the happening place in town. So if you ever find yourself coming through the area, I highly recommend stopping for some broasted chicken at Roadside Food and Fuel!

The menu is odd- with Mexican, American (bar food), and Chinese items across the three pages. I couldn't help but wonder if I was crazy for trying a Chinese entrée, but couldn't help myself! I ordered the combination (chicken, steak and shrimp) fried rice with sweet chili sauce on the side. Surprisingly, it was DELICIOUS! I can only assume that the Chinese entrees were on the menu, because someone there knew how to cook them. The meat was tasty and tender, and the dish had generous amounts of all ingredients and an overall large portion. The rest of my crew stuck to chicken tenders and burgers, but no complaints there either! They even had Corn Nuggets on the menu, which are strangely delicious and worth trying given the opportunity. This place isn't cheap, our bill for a few sodas and six entrees was over $100.00- but again, the food was pretty darn good.
