Each of the last three manicures I had included no cuticle prep. They just filed the nail plate down, put on the dehydrator, and did the dip. My actual nails were completely ruined in the process. I have strong nails that I take care of, but after the last few manicures I was left with extremely thin, weak nails. I actually had to take SIX WEEKS off of having anything on my nails so that I could grow them back out. That's how bad of shape my nails were left in. My biggest complaint is that, after coming here for over a year regularly, Jimmy didn't even know my name. He stamped my final punch card entry and it seemed like he had this moment of realization that he had no idea what my name is. Not going to lie - it stung! I got my bridal nails done here! I brought my friends here! I told my patients about this place (I'm a chiropractor - people look at my hands constantly)! And the guy I talk to every visit didn't even know my name. HA!

I always spring for the lemongrass on when I can because it's sublime. That's what I did that time and it was just as I remembered. Jenny did my pedicure today. Just as lovely as I remembered her. Amy...Amy is just the best. I developed an allergy to one of the ingredients that are in the dip nails that I'd been doing for years. Gotta love a random adult onset allergy. Anyway, today I asked Amy about the gel builder. That's what my sister does now. I asked if I could pay a little money to have her do it on one finger so I could see if I would have an allergic reaction and she did. It's many hours later and I'm good as gold so far. She said give it 2 week but honestly? I do not want to wait that long I'll be good and wait, I guess. I love that the techs know my name, they ask about my family or updates on things we talked about last time and in addition to being lovely people, they do incredible work. Literal artists in my opinion. Love that there aren't TVs in there. It is so relaxing. I did t do anything fancy with my pedicure today but it looks so great. Can't wait to have Amy or Jenny do my fingernails!!

She absolutely nailed it. You cannot even tell which one is the fake nail & the shape transition is so good! I hadn't tried this particular pedi before and it did not disappoint! The smell was wonderful and it included hot stones, paraffin and a massage! We did a design on my toes and it's so beautiful! Thank you for another wonderful experience! She was so nice, she gave me a nice Leg Massage and Foot Massage. I was totally relaxed and she noticed. Lol I decided to get Christmas Colors of Red and White on my Toe Nails. When I told the Nail Tech what I wanted, she seemed confused but she got it right. I was pleased with the result. They also have nice Christmas Decor. See my Pictures. I noticed, when I was heading out, the Kiosk was ready for me to check out. That was a nice gesture. I also got clarification on the Stamp Card. It's one stamp no matter how many services you get in one visit. So, hurry to the Galaxy. I mean the Galaxy Nail Bar to get your Pedi just in time for the Christmas Holidays.

As my nail tech started on the gel base coat, I actually had to ask, did you already do the manicure and cuticles, etc., because I had dry skin and misshapen nails with jagged edges. She seemed surprised that I asked, but then fixed things, to some extent. The color was fine, and the massage was the usual 30-second massage most places give you with a gel manicure. Overall, worst gel manicure I've received in a long, long time. The gel pedicure was much better than the manicure, though not good enough to make me return to this nail salon. It was pretty empty inside--lots of chairs, but not a lot of clients. It's got an elegant appearance, though. On a positive note, they were able to take me on short notice.
