I have long hair and other stylists I have gone to would only give me layers at the bottom, but not Leah! She took the time to listen and understand what I wanted and even offered advice and options for different facial framing and bangs that were suited to my face and type of hair. Then she worked her magic and I couldn't be more pleased! As soon as we were done and I saw what she did, I had to ask her to send me pictures so that I could show my mom who has been sick of hearing me cry and complain after every haircut, but not this one! She was so impressed that now she wants to get her haircut by Leah, as well! Also, the salon itself is quite nice. Good atmosphere; clean; everyone was wearing masks and practicing Covid-safety. Highly recommend this place and, especially, this stylist.

From the moment I noticed the address, I could feel the energy from the outside. As I entered the salon, I was greeted professionally, and asked if I could be assisted. I stated that I had an appointment, and she said you must be Cathy. I nodded yes and she said Wesley will be right with you. As I took a seat, I was sitting no longer than 2 minutes before Wesley came over to introduce himself to me and that's where the real fun began! As I took my seat, Wesley and I had the best conversation. The needed a great cut with precision and Wesley was my guy for sure! He gave me exactly what I asked for, followed by a shampoo/conditioner with a nice scalp massage! It was simply amazing!!! When I say the service I received was amazing, there is no exaggeration to it. WESLEY IS THE BOMB!!! If you're in town and need a great cut, I would highly recommend this salon and I would highly recommend Wesley! He will be my stylist in Asheville! Thanks a ton!

I had very simple trim and wash. My hair are wavy, curly and dry, and get frizzed easily. I told…read morethe stylist Lexi that I normally don't use the shampoo and I always use the product on my hair after wash to prevent the frizz. I even brought my own product with me, by Lexi did not use it. She washed my hair with shampoo (!!) and half dried it with diffuser. When I asked her if she is going to apply any product, she said all what I need is already applied.... My entire appointment was less than 30 min. And the charge was $55 for very simple trim and 5 min dry... and I gave her a tip. After I got home and my hair were completely dry it turned out into crazy dry frizzy mess. I had to take a shower, to rinse my hair off and apply my own product. It was on Valentine's Day and we were getting ready to go out.. So I called the place and left a message, I never received anything back from them. I do not recommend this place. It seems that they do not care.

My experience from a year ago, and I felt I needed to share in case anyone is trying to get lighter…read morehair - this is not the place. Unless you want darker hair, do come here in hopes of lightening. My experience here was extremely disappointing and, unfortunately, one I will never forget. I came in with a very simple request: I wanted my hair lightened. Instead, the stylist assigned to me dyed my hair darker--the exact opposite of what I had asked for. What should have been a straightforward two- or three-hour appointment turned into a seven-hour ordeal that caused significant damage to both my hair and my wallet. Once the owner realized that my hair had been darkened rather than lightened, I was subjected to an even more aggressive bleaching process in an attempt to correct the mistake. By that point, I was already distressed and concerned about the condition of my hair. What upset me most was the complete lack of accountability. Not once did I receive a sincere apology for the error, the excessive processing, or the inconvenience. From my perspective, both the stylist and the owner seemed more focused on moving past the situation than acknowledging the stress, wasted time, and damage caused. I was left sitting in the salon until after dark while they attempted to correct a mistake that never should have happened in the first place. To make matters worse, I was charged additional money, yes they charged me MORE to destroy my hair, because the owner had to assist with fixing the color correction. I came in with beautiful golden-brown grow-out that I specifically wanted to preserve, and I left with hair that had been darkened, over-processed, and then aggressively bleached in an effort to reverse the mistake. The entire experience left me feeling frustrated, upset, and taken advantage of. I lost an entire day, spent far more money than expected, and walked away with damaged hair and no meaningful acknowledgment of responsibility from the salon. Needless to say, I never returned and would not trust this salon again. The lack of accountability and customer care was, from my perspective, the most disappointing part of the entire experience.
