Unless you want darker hair, do come here in hopes of lightening. My experience here was extremely disappointing and, unfortunately, one I will never forget. I came in with a very simple request: I wanted my hair lightened. Instead, the stylist assigned to me dyed my hair darker--the exact opposite of what I had asked for. What should have been a straightforward two- or three-hour appointment turned into a seven-hour ordeal that caused significant damage to both my hair and my wallet. Once the owner realized that my hair had been darkened rather than lightened, I was subjected to an even more aggressive bleaching process in an attempt to correct the mistake. By that point, I was already distressed and concerned about the condition of my hair. What upset me most was the complete lack of accountability. Not once did I receive a sincere apology for the error, the excessive processing, or the inconvenience. From my perspective, both the stylist and the owner seemed more focused on moving past the situation than acknowledging the stress, wasted time, and damage caused. I was left sitting in the salon until after dark while they attempted to correct a mistake that never should have happened in the first place. To make matters worse, I was charged additional money, yes they charged me MORE to destroy my hair, because the owner had to assist with fixing the color correction. I came in with beautiful golden-brown grow-out that I specifically wanted to preserve, and I left with hair that had been darkened, over-processed, and then aggressively bleached in an effort to reverse the mistake. The entire experience left me feeling frustrated, upset, and taken advantage of. I lost an entire day, spent far more money than expected, and walked away with damaged hair and no meaningful acknowledgment of responsibility from the salon. Needless to say, I never returned and would not trust this salon again. The lack of accountability and customer care was, from my perspective, the most disappointing part of the entire experience.

The ladies worked so well together and I sensed the great respect they had for each other! I love as so satisfied and happy after spending my afternoon there! The wine was wonderful, the rescue kitten melted my heart and THE PRICE WAS RIGHT for tje magic they performed!! I feel so lucky to have found Alejandro, who traveled the country teaching for Bumble and Bumble before moving to Asheville. He is truly a gem! I have long hair and other stylists I have gone to would only give me layers at the bottom, but not Leah! She took the time to listen and understand what I wanted and even offered advice and options for different facial framing and bangs that were suited to my face and type of hair. Then she worked her magic and I couldn't be more pleased! As soon as we were done and I saw what she did, I had to ask her to send me pictures so that I could show my mom who has been sick of hearing me cry and complain after every haircut, but not this one! She was so impressed that now she wants to get her haircut by Leah, as well! Also, the salon itself is quite nice. Good atmosphere; clean; everyone was wearing masks and practicing Covid-safety.
