However, once I did I was blown away. Right when I entered I was hit with such an upbeat vibe. The late 90s and early 2000s hip hop and R&B tracks that were playing really livened up the place. More importantly, my meal was exquisite. I had the curried goat with red beans / rice and broccoli. The goat was sooooo delicious and the meat was so tender. I also ordered coco bread that was perfect for dipping into the currry sauce. The beans and rice as well as the broccoli were perfectly cooked and elegantly complimented the goat. I also ordered a Ting (Grapefruit) soda that was also very tasty and unique. Lastly, I had the red bean pie for dessert and wow was it good! It probably would have gone great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Anway, back to the vibe, I typically prefer quiet places when I dine, but the vibe here worked well for me. I really liked the music and the upbeat atmosphere of the venue. The dining area was also very open and didn't at all feel stuffy like some other more posh places I've been to. Just a cool laid back place where you can enjoy some good music and great food. To close, every item I had was excellent and perfectly cooked. In fact, I have to say this is ranked up there with one of the best dining experiences I've had and, if I wasn't going back on my pre-summer-time diet, I'd probably become a regular.
