After years of loyal patronage, it's disappointing and insulting to see this added charge. When you're already tipping over 20% and purchasing expensive bottles of wine, adding another 3% just to pay by credit card feels excessive. I really wish this practice would be made illegal. Restaurants are already charging customers for their food and drinks, and we're contributing to their operating costs through our purchases and tips. At this rate, between the meal prices, generous tips, and added fees, we must be silent partners in half the restaurants around here! Please stop charging this fee for the love of God.
