This is our first real birthday party for him, and like many busy parents, I was trying to pull everything together at the last minute. I learned that Lili Bella's typically takes orders well in advance, but after speaking with the sweetest woman on the phone, she suggested I reach out to the owners directly because they might be able to help. They didn't have to. But they did. This local, family-owned, veteran-owned business fit me into their schedule for two dozen cupcakes with only a few days' notice. They helped me come up with ideas when I wasn't even sure what I wanted and made the entire process easy. When I arrived, I was completely charmed. The bakery is tucked inside a beautiful historic stone cottage that feels warm, welcoming, and full of personality. The owners are some of the most genuine, down-to-earth people I've met in a long time. Not "good customer service" nice--actually kind people who genuinely care about their customers and community. As I was leaving, they handed me their last fresh cinnamon roll of the day and told me I had to try it. No charge. Just kindness. Who does that anymore? While I was there, I learned they do cakes, cookies, cupcakes, coffee, tea events, and even have a Bridgerton-inspired experience coming up that I'm already planning to attend with my mother-in-law. The cupcakes are for tomorrow's pool party, so I'll happily update this review after everyone has tried them. But honestly, the experience alone earned five stars before I ever opened the box. In a world that often feels rushed and transactional, Lili Bella's feels like the opposite. It feels like community. It feels like kindness. It feels like the type of business you root for because you genuinely want good things to happen to good people. Thank you for helping make my son's birthday special. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had thumbprint cookies. I'm a huge fan of thumbprint cookies. There's something so nostalgic about them from when I was a child. What makes their thumbprint cookies the best is that they make them with caramel! Most bakeries don't sell thumbprint cookies and that ones that do, I've never seen them with caramel. These are little amazing nuggets of goodness! If their shortbread was a little more tender, it would probably be the #1 bakery item, I've ever had. The magic is in the caramel! It's so soft, gooey and perfectly sweet. It's the perfect pairing with the lightly sweetened shortbread. Since I had the cookies, I haven't stopped thinking about them. The cake itself was bland and tasted like lightly sweetened bread. The frosting was not cream cheese frosting. It tasted like straight whipped cream cheese. The texture and flavor were both off. They are literally works of art made by a creative decorator who demands perfection and uses the finest ingredients. The cake is very dense, what our family considers to be the ultimate texture for a cake. The frosting is super thick and very sweet. You can't eat too much at one time, which is probably a good thing. We had hoped for some sort of confirmation email to let us know the cake was finished. So we showed up on faith alone hoping the cake was ready for our celebration, and there it was! Whew! They only had a few cakes in the case, and they don't make them onsite. We were told the cakes they had were delivered that day, so we took a chance. It was a good cake. The best we've found here in Middle Tn, so far. Blink and you'll miss it. Its at the end of the building and there was a food truck right outside. I did not get a chance to sample the flan or other pastries, but I will probably be back to try them.

When asking for help from Willa's, I was told that they take no responsibility for delivering. I was told to file a claim with the USPS. Filing such a claim would be a total waste of time. I fail to understand why Willa's doesn't use a dependent shipping company --UPS or FED-EX. USPS provides terrible service. I received poor or actually no customer service. The gift should have been resent by Willa's. I am out $65 for 2 pounds of cookies that the recipient never received. SAD. I will never order from this company again.
