Specialty drinks that are super cheap and a bunch of pool tables with well maintained equipment. Probably the definitive pool bar in STL

Ask the Community - The Cue

When did The Cue open up? I absolutely love this place, it has a great atmosphere, amazing drinks, and very well made pool tables that me and my friends used to play. I'm doing my project based on The Cue and this the only other question I have here.

I believe it's been open about 11-12 years now.

He even walked around to the people at the open play tables to see approximately how many games they had left.

My wife and I spent our Saturday night at Pink Galleon Billiards & Games (1243 Castillons Arcade…read morePlaza), and it honestly felt like our very first date all over again. From the moment we walked in, the vibe took us back to when we first started going out -- just enjoying each other and having fun. We kicked the night off with our favorite drinks, Long Island Iced Teas, and they did not disappoint. Then we ordered some wings and loaded fries, and let me tell you... they hit the spot! Perfect food for a game night. Even though my wife beat me in darts twice (I'll get her next time ), it made the night even better. Between the games, the drinks, and the laid-back atmosphere, it felt just like the first time we ever came here. As parents juggling work and the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it's not often we get a chance to step away from being mommy and daddy for a few hours. Whenever we need that little getaway without leaving town, Pink Galleon is where it's at. Always a great time!

My husband and I were trying to find something interesting to do on a random Saturday night and ended up at Pink Galleon. We had a blast. But first a few things you should know. 1. As soon as you get there get in line to get billiard balls for a pool table. They get snatched up. 2. Every time you want a beverage you have to stand in the same long line. No table service. 3. Big beers! To compensate for the long lines they serve beer in massive beer stines! 4. They have other games to play like skee ball, ping pong, and darts. 5. They have limited bar food so don't come here hungry. 6. Lots of tvs to see any game. Overall it was a great random place for a fun Saturday night!

We had 10 and we were able to sit around the long stationary table in the middle of the room. Global Brew Tap House does not charge for the event room. They ask for reservations and for the attendees to patronize the bar. Perfect for a meeting or a book club. I had a couple of beers. Wide selection of local and popular craft beers . Bartender was friendly and offered to keep a tab. Lots of parking. Loved this place!

A casual vibe, great place for beer and a group happy hour…read more Every time I come here I am amazed at how much fun it is and what a great draft selection they have. Walk in and there are plenty of tables, a couple of gathering areas, standing room narrow tables, an outdoor area, and a room off to the side. I went for the Logboat Dark Matter which I have had before in a can and wanted to try on draft. I enjoyed it very much. You know what is great?! Since they don't have food, you can bring it in yourself. Both times our group has met up here Katie's Pizza is the choice and its in the same parking lot. You can't go wrong with Katie's. Bartender is on the ball and friendly, TV's all around, not too loud so you can talk. Wednesday nights they have Trivia and I stayed for the first round, it was very current for the current event category. Get a pizza from Katie's, go here, have a beer, have fun!
