From the moment we booked until the very last dance, everything was absolutely perfect. Our wedding was truly the best day of my life, and it's a day I'll remember forever. Our coordinator, Jainie, was absolutely amazing. She truly felt like family throughout this entire process. She was always there to answer questions, guide us, and make sure every single detail came together perfectly. Having someone who genuinely cared made all the difference, and I couldn't have asked for a better coordinator. The venue itself was stunning, the staff was incredible, and everything was so organized and seamless. Every detail exceeded our expectations, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful everything was. So many people even said they hope they're invited to another wedding here someday just so they can come back! I truly cannot recommend this venue enough. Thank you for giving us the most unforgettable day--we will cherish these memories for the rest of our lives. read more

Attended a wedding at Crystal Point Yacht Club on a Saturday in late April. Since the venue is fairly far south in New Jersey, it would have been difficult to make it back to New York City after the reception, so I stayed locally for the night. The venue itself is large, modern, and seemed relatively new. They also offer lodging onsite, though I did not stay there. The ceremony took place in a large chapel space on the lower level, with windows overlooking the water and nearby boats, which created a really nice backdrop. The main floor was divided into two large spaces. One side held the cocktail hour, featuring a large bar and numerous food stations spread throughout the room. On the other side was the reception ballroom, which had multiple bars, a large dance floor, huge crystal chandeliers, and expansive windows overlooking the water. The overall design felt very airy and open, with lots of white and light wood finishes, clean carpeting, and spacious layouts throughout the venue. The food was enjoyable, and there were some fun touches during cocktail hour and the reception, including a bacon station and a roaming coffee liqueur cart. The staff was also excellent throughout the evening, friendly, attentive, and well organized. Overall, this was a lovey waterfront wedding venue,l (Manasquan River) and I would definitely recommend it for anyone considering a wedding or large event in the area. read more

Went to a wedding and was treated like second hand garbage after an incident with the cleaning people. Two people at the desk who treated my like my privacy does't matter, the manager felt this was not pressing enough of any issue. I wouldn't stay or have an event there. read more

Attended a wedding here - one of the best cocktail hours I've been too. Bacon bar - pasta stand- mexican spread - seafood - sushi - great cocktails. Modern and gorgeous atmosphere! Most of us ordered the filet mignon ... it was over but would have liked it with less flavor and sauce. Dessert was generous - loved the tier with mash mellow bites and strawberries but didn't love what was shared with the cake. Overall we had a great time! read more

What a venue! Crystal Point has it all ... view, ambiance, delicious food and an attentive wait staff! Attended a wedding last week and came away might impressed. Part of what made it a great night was the over the top service provided by Delaney. She was definitely at the top of her game, whether is be constantly refilling water glasses or always re-folding napkins and everything in between. Thanks for a memorable night. read more

The most amazing venue to have a wedding or any special occasion. The staff worked incredibly hard during the entire night! The cocktail hour, dinner & dessert was absolutely delicious! The view from outdoors & indoors was breathtaking. I highly recommend CPY Club. Thank you very much. read more

Janine and the Crystal Point staff made our wedding day truly unforgettable. Their team's experience shines in all of the details that turn your big day into a dream wedding (cleanliness, wedding day timeline, vendor coordination, motel, bridal suite, etc.) The food alone is reason enough to book with them; between the cocktail hour, dinner, and desserts, every single guest was raving about the quality and amount of options. The newly renovated cocktail hour room is something out of a movie that you and your guests will never forget. From booking to planning and executing the wedding; Janine, Kyle, and owner Bob make it so that the newlyweds can relax and enjoy their amazing day. The convenience in having the Crystal Point Inn next door with the bridal suite made the bride and bridal party's day very enjoyable! The bridal suite is included for the day before and of your wedding and is the perfect place for everyone to get ready, and even throw an awesome afterparty! Finally, Janine, our maitre d', goes above and beyond for all of her brides and her experience will put every bride and groom at ease. I am a very anxious bride with tons of questions and worries that things will be missed or not go as planned- Janine has that covered! Every question I had she answered before I even asked, and all of my decor for the wedding was set out perfectly. She didn't have to ask for clarification on anything. When choosing a wedding venue, go with a place like The Crystal Point that has a history, has been in the industry for decades, and has experienced staff that will make the day a dream. read more

Attended a wedding here over the weekend. The outdoor ceremony space was gorgeous and the cocktail hour room was spacious. Which brings me to the food. Omg! So good! Like one of the best cocktail hours ever. The seafood was quality and my husband was thrilled with shrimp. We enjoyed the passed appetizers, but if you liked something, it never came back around . The wedding room was updated and had a great view. I wanted my filet well done, but the waitress moved away too quickly and never reappeared. My filet was medium rare, which made my dinner almost inedible. The dessert....oh my! We devoured it, and this was before the cake was even cut! Thumbs up! read more

This weekend, my boyfriend and I attended a wedding held at Crystal Point Yacht Club. The venue was beautiful. On the water, you get amazing views. The yacht club was well decorated and the people working here were friendly and did a great job. I liked the food. The cocktail hour was pretty awesome. It's set up downstairs. There was a crab cake station, pasta station, and buffet area with Italian sausage and chicken, eggplant rollatini, shrimp pasta, crispy calamari, and more. After cocktail hour, we were lead upstairs to one of the ballrooms. You have a beautiful view of the water from here. Dinner was very good. For my entree, I got the Salmon and my boyfriend had the vegetarian option. Plus, I sampled the a piece of the steak when our server came by and asked if anyone wanted seconds or to try a different entree. This is one of my top wedding reception venues that I've ever been to. If you get invited to the Crystal Point Yacht Club for a wedding or other event, you'll definitely have a good time! read more

We attended a wedding here that was beautiful! Our waitress, Delaney, was one of the highlights of the night. She was on top of it, so kind and had us laughing all night. The whole wedding was obsessed with her and we talked about the morning after too. She was so so great! read more

This venue deserves five stars for their food experience and decor when compared to other vendors of the same caliber. They really did a beautiful job with the ceremony transitioning to cocktail hour cocktail hour. Cocktail hour was one of the nicest I've been to in terms of plentiful food and choices. The ballroom is beautiful and the dinner options were definitely on the nicer side for a wedding venue. If I were up right now in New Jersey I would absolutely look at this location and considerate for my wedding reception venue read more

Beautiful venue. Awesome wait staff. Only thing I would say about this place is that they need a better sound system for the music

My fiance and I looked here for a place to have our wedding. After driving past it dozens of times on RT 70 over the years, I didn't expect much out of Crystal Point. Much to my surprise, this was quite a gem when you step inside. They have two cocktail hour rooms and three halls for dining for you to choose from. Of the 5 places we visited, this was the only one that gave options like that. The staff at Crystal Point are super friendly and did a great job showing us around, answering our questions, and selling us on this location. The packages they offer are very inclusive. Most places give you a rate for the basics and then every little thing after is an extra couple dollars a person here and there which adds up so quick. At Crystal Point you get it all for a very affordable rate. They are even willing to adapt the menu items for you for no extra charge. The one thing I didn't like was the curb appeal of the location. Other than that I was blown away. Obviously if we was getting married there I would have mentioned that by now, but we are not. We did decide to go to a very very similar location, but the price isn't as good as Crystal Point's. I highly recommend Crystal Point as a reception hall. Although I have not tried the food, I can't imagine it would be that bad. Great staff, great rooms, you have options, and an inclusive yet affordable packages. Definitely give it a look if you're planning a wedding in the Brick/Point Pleasant area! read more

I attended a wedding here and the cocktail hour was to die for!!!!! So good, and the meal and all else was really done well!!!!!

Ruined a friend's wedding by not properly training their staff on food allergies. If you don't know the difference between corn, potatoes and gluten you shouldn't be going over dishes with guests, get the chef. Food allergies are serious and can be life threatening. Tried contacting a manager on site, over the phone and via email and no one was available. Couldn't even get Benadryl to address the attack when it first started. Absolute shame. Waste of money for our friends and ourselves. Would never recommend this place. read more

We just had our wedding here on 5/2/21 and it was absolutely perfect! The food was amazing & there was such a great variety. All the guests raved over the cocktail hour. Amazing renovation! Absolutely beautiful. I haven't been there in a year or two and was there last night for an event. I was blown away by the recent changes. The new cocktail hour room is amazing with a huge bar with a water wall, cool little griddle area that was serving sliders and apps, a cool nook with craft beer (help yourself) and a beautiful veranda. For the event, we walk over to the remodeled ballroom that has a new bar, new dance floor and new interior. Food was outstanding. The event was a clam bake theme and they didn't hold back. Tons of sea food and everything from the broccoli rabe to the pasta stations to the apps were hot and delicious. I'm in the industry for over 25 years and know the owners well. Hands down, they knocked it out of the park with this renovation. Great Job! Can't wait to return for another event. read more

Our wedding at crystal point on 5/27/21 couldn't of gone any better! From start to finish, the day was absolutely beautiful. We had gorgeous weather and had an outside ceremony, which was set up beautifully. We had 150 guests in attendance, originally we had over 200 on our list but we cut prior to the increase in capacity (COVID), CP never gave us an issue with guest capacity during the ongoing changes throughout the month of May. We want to mention we are a postponed Covid couple, originally set to get married august 2020. Postponing was not easy for us when we decided and there were a few uncertainties in our minds of how things would go for the wedding. However, I hope this post gives the upcoming brides and their families the reassurance that Crystal Point goes above and beyond for their couples and the wedding will be absolutely perfect if you get married here. We have guests raving about the cocktail hour, the dinners, the service, the views, the look of the venue etc. We did not get to have a food tasting prior to our wedding due to Covid but I know now that this was a small detail that wouldn't of made a difference, EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious and the amount of food you get during the night is ridiculous. Our guests were shocked by the cocktail hour and how they came around offering seconds during dinner. Throughout the weeks leading up to the wedding, Janine (Maitre D) got in contact with us and was super responsive to text messages/calls. I could ask a million questions and she would quickly respond with an answer, she was my go-to woman! Her dedication to making our day special was clear from the start, she knows her stuff! Janine was simply just amazing..She checked on me and my husband constantly and took charge of making the day absolutely perfect, if anything was to go wrong, I wouldn't of even known because she was so on-top of everything. From making sure we felt ready to go but reminding us to enjoy the moment, keeping the bridal party in check, bustling my dress (more then once!), making sure we stayed on time and staying throughout the entire wedding.. we couldn't of asked for better. Her personality made my husband and I extremely comfortable and we felt like she was part of the family! Eileen also assisted my husband and I during the wedding. As soon as we walked into the private bridal suite, she was by our sides, always making sure we had a drink, food and seeing if we needed anything. She was such a sweet lady and truly was ALWAYS there when we needed her but we did not feel bombarded by her presence, at all, we never had to look for her. She definitely deserves recognition for her hard work but also for her calming presence. The bartenders & other servers were very nice, all our guests complemented the work staff.. thank you all for an amazing wedding! Lastly, hotel was a major plus for us since we booked approx. 40 rooms for guests. Everyone loved their rooms, it was very clean and Tiffany was an absolute pleasure to work with. Tiffany and I went back and fourth for months and months leading up to the wedding and she answered my many questions quickly. During our postponement, the cancellation process for guests was easy and quick. Both bridal suites are very spacious and newly renovated.. it was so much fun getting ready on site especially on such a beautiful, sunny day. Thank you Tiffany and hotel staff for making the experience great from check in to check out! I wish I could relive this day over and over. I can't thank Crystal Point and all their workers enough for an amazing day/night. We hope to be back to enjoy someone else's wedding in the future!! read more

My daughter Ashlee Monaghan and my son in law Brian Dommasch had the pleasure of getting married here on October 25, 2019. If there was the opportunity to rate this venue 10 stars I would have! I have been a florist for 37 years and in all of my time setting up venues Chrystal Point was the most organized accommodating venue I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with! Thank you so much for everything, the food was amazing and way over the top, the bar service, the staff, the atmosphere! Janine was a pleasure to work with and may I say works extremely hard along with her entire staff. If you want an amazing wedding book yours today it will be the best decision you have ever made! Absolutely worst experience at a venue. Ended up leaving due to an allergic reaction because of a clueless waitress. Do you not provide training to your staff on food allergies? It baffles me that someone in the food industry would have no idea what is in your food, or to have the sense to ask someone who actually knows. Shame on you, people can die from food allergies. Went to an outdoor wedding & reception here last month. My husband and I are from out of town, so we stayed overnight at the Crystal Point Inn. Everything was perfect! Would highly recommend. We got married at Crystal Point on 10/27/18. This review will not be able to do the venue justice! First of all, the weather was terrible and at first I was so disappointed that we could not do the reception outside. However, Ian and the other staff made sure the indoor ceremony area looked amazing! We ended up not disappointed at all. Ian was so incredible to work with. He answered our crazy last minute text messages, accommodated his schedule to meet ours and was there for us at anytime the day of. Even my extended family who joined for pictures brought up how great he was. I really cannot say enough nice things about Ian. From the first time we met in person, he immediately understood our "wedding style" and went from there. The venue is gorgeous. The food is amazing. It's been over a month and people are still talking about what an amazing time they had at our wedding. The staff made sure we were fed, had drinks in our hands at all time, sent us back with lots of treats and were always checking in with us. We felt as if they really got to know us and we got such personalized treatment. Crystal Point was the first venue we visited out of three appointments that day. After looking, we immediately canceled the remaining ones and booked with Crystal Point and it was the best decision! read more

Magical! This is the adjective my guests use over and over again to express their experience at our wedding. My husband and I are extremely happy that we decided on CPYC for our New Years Eve wedding on 12/31/18. The venue is gorgeous and elegant, our ceremony took place inside the venue the panoramic view added a serene ambiance to our ceremony. After the ceremony our guest were escorted to an adjacent room for the cocktail hour which was amazing and delicious. Then upstairs to the reception! Well the room was breathtaking! Ian our matre'd, was the best as was the rest of the staff. Ian and the staff made sure all my requests were fulfilled. Several of my guests commented on how accommodating and kind the staff was. The reception was off the charts! Excellent food, dessert, cake, drinks and service! My husband and I couldn't be happier and my guests, well we're a large Italian, Irish family they were impressed and surprised to be offered an additional dinner if they wanted, the delicious food and gorgeous venue, we also chose the exit breakfast, (Ian's suggestion), due to it being NYE and we're glad we did. If you're thinking about having your special occasion at CPYC go for it you will not be sorry. read more

My Stepson had his wedding here on 6/4/10. The decor is beautiful... from the view to the great lighting. Plenty of room to move around between tables and a very nice size dance floor. The cocktail hour was over the top-if you can, get the seafood crepes. They were amazing and the BBQ pork puffs were the best! The service at the cocktail hour was very good. The dinner was disappointing. The servers were a little on the grumpy side-barely a smile anywhere. The food was just OK. Everything was very salty...and I like salt but the Mushroom soup was so salty I couldn't eat it and the gravy on the beef was just as bad. The salad had no dressing or it was so minimal that I couldn't taste it and the roll was stale. The beef itself was very good once you scraped the gravy off. The asparagus was undercooked and the potato overcooked. Overall it is a beautiful place for an event just wish the food and service for the dinner was up to the cocktail hour standards. read more

Crystal Point Yacht Club was the perfect venue for our wedding! Everything was perfect from the moment we went to check out the venue. The new upgrades, to the gardens, to the backdrop, to the staff... was amazing! We love the old school jersey shore motel meets high end elegance . Thank you Ian! He was just the coolest and most laid back. He handled things that I completely forgot about and made sure everything was spectacular! Our guests loved the seating during cocktail hour and the food was incredible! Also the guests were blown away when the staff gave second helpings to everyone so they can try everything! Our day was better than I could have ever had imagined and I wish I could do it all over again there! The best part is that our guests are still raving about it being the best wedding that they have ever attended! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! read more

Quality customer service can be hard to come by lately, so when an experience exceeds expectations it's certainly worth mentioning. Our daughter's wedding was held at this venue this past weekend. The total experience from start to finish was exceptional. Laura and Jackie in the front office were friendly, responsive and most helpful with reserving the date and answering all our numerous questions. The maitre'd is key to the success of a wedding. I can't say enough good things about Ian, our maitre' d. He was always "one step ahead" on the day of the wedding, (and before) keeping everything moving smoothly and doing so with a smile. He is accommodating and polite with a great sensibility and attention to detail. Simply perfect! As one reviewer noted this is indeed a great combination venue. We had several out of town guests and they were thrilled with the fact that they didn't need to drive from one place to another. It was warm enough to have the ceremony outside. There was no need for a pergola or additional flowers lining the aisle as the garden space is elegant in its simplicity with the backdrop of the river, boats and amazing sky. Our guests raved about the food at the cocktail hour and dinner. The setting for both was lovely with windows looking out onto the water providing an elegant and tranquil atmosphere. There was plenty of room in the ballroom for our 10 piece band with ample room on the dance floor as well. When the party was over, the staff carefully organized and packed up all the decorations we provided and set them aside for us to retrieve at our convenience the next morning. The motel rooms are well appointed and we found the staff to be so friendly. Tiffany at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful. Plus, as one of our well-traveled guests noted, the continental breakfast was one of the best ever. Our daughter's wedding experience couldn't have been more perfect. Where do I begin! I cannot say enough about how perfect and beautiful our wedding at Crystal Point was on 8/4/17. Perfection. We just got married at the Crystal Point on 6/26 and from top to bottom, soup to nuts, start to finish, it was all perfect. During the planning phase, Laura and Erin were amazing to work with. Super responsive, helpful with their suggestions and patient even as the date got closer and our calls and visits increased in frequency. Ian, our maitre d and coordinator for the evening was absolutely amazing. Kind, sweet, funny and on top of every little detail. I could not have hoped for more. And the food - hands down the best food I've had at a catered affair ever. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection and so tender you could cut it with a fork. Our guests raved over the dainty duet course of tomato bisque paired with an arugula salad and the cake - holy moly - we have the anniversary cake they gave us in the freezer and I swear I'm not sure I can wait a year for it.
