Situated at the mouth of old Llantrisant, The Cross Keys is a one of the more lively pubs in the area and has lots to offer locals looking for a good night out.
There is a pool table for when the pub is quiet enough to use it, however, this is a rarity on the weekend. They regularly have bands booked up throughout the year, offering a variety of musical styles from week-to-week, from ska to classic rock.
While this small pub can get cramped and overcrowded at times, making pint spillage a frustrating fact of life, it definitely makes up for this in atmosphere. The rowdy, fun mood of Friday night at the Cross is always enough to bring the most boring, depressive introvert to the point of impassioned drunken air guitar.
