First time visit at the Petting Farm at Domino's. We took a Grandbaby for an outing today. It was a…read morebit chilly (just above 40 degrees and the wind didn't help matters much). As many times as I had driven past Domino's along Route 23, I never knew there was a petting farm nestled back in there! Very well kept, animals' pens were clean, animals all looked very healthy and well cared for. The grounds were also well maintained. Sheep, horses, goats, rabbits, chickens, peacock, donkey, alpaca, geese, etc. In various pens inside and outside of the barns. Animals outside of the buildings also had coverage areas built for them. An aged stationary tractor is on display for children to climb up onto the seat and play "Farmer John" for a while. There was also a playground area as well as an oversized doll house for children to experience. A poll barn is used as a gathering center for birthday parties, etc. Great idea for children to go and experience farm animals up close and personal. Fun afternoon.

There were a ton of goats, sheep, chickens, and bunnies to feed and pet. Several very excited…read morellamas and alpacas also enjoyed carrots, as well as one cow. And a very sweet kitty who only wanted pets and rubs. The ponies were cute and fat and the pigs were...pigs. The carrots are clearly overpriced but they bring great joy.

Went today for their Superb Owl event - it was cute! It was set up in stations so you could stroll…read morearound and do different things. Got to see a great horned owl which was very cool. The other owls were tucked away and asleep in their enclosures, which makes sense. Also saw a bald eagle, a couple hawks, and critters like a tarantula, snapping turtle and others in their critter house. Staff/volunteers on site were super knowledgeable and friendly, and there was a lot to learn about owls during this event. Believe the trails and outdoor bird enclosures are free and open to the public year round.

This is a nice center! We stopped by for their Critter House (limited hours, check their website…read morebefore you go if you want to see it) and enjoyed seeing the snakes, turtles, and more. We then headed outside, dodging raindrops, to see the exterior raptor enclosures. There were a variety of owls, hawks, and more. We especially enjoyed watching the owl that was having a good time on its swing. They are currently also working on creating a nearby nature playscape. The section that is complete so far is very nice - a very neat slide, places to climb, a higher up area to look out from, and more. They also offer some trails to explore. Paved parking is available and staff were friendly.

We came here to meet my sisters and spend the day with my niece who is turning 3 years old. The day…read morewas going well, we paid for 7 people total and a pony ride for the 3 YO toddler. After a couple of hours of fun in the sun and with the animals, we all sat at one of the picnic tables and brought some snacks and cupcakes. In the middle of singing happy birthday to my 3 YO niece, this lady walks up to us and starts yelling at us and telling us we have to leave and that we can't have "a birthday party". The toddler starts crying. We are never coming back here again, none of us knew we can't sing happy birthday at a petting zoo, none of us knew we can't use a picnic table, there were no signs saying that. Even if she needed to tell us (paying customers) to leave, she could've talked to one of the adults instead of interrupting a child's happy birthday song and making her cry. We live 10 minutes away and we would've come back here if it wasn't for this rude woman. Apparently this is the owner, and she was being rude to her staff throughout the day as well. All of the other staff we came across were friendly and none of them told us we couldn't use a picnic table to sing happy birthday for the child. I still can't believe how rude this woman was to her customers and staff.

It shows that staff are well trained and want to be there and are happy to be there! My children come home each day content, excited to share their day and want to return each and every day. This facility provides amazing age appropriate activities that extend past real life farm to make it fun for the kids. I have paid triple at other facilities and wondered where the money goes. I like to bird watch and saw a cool Wood Ducks in the water, a tree swallow, and a swan! You can also stop by the water (very close to the shore) in the short hike at least 3 times and see some turtles. And there are many chipmunks and some other birds along the path. And there are a lot of people canoeing or kayaking on the water.

Great park for distance running - when I was training for a half marathon, I would come here for anywhere from 3-8 mile runs. I actually typically like parking at the boat launch entrance off Geddes, but there is plenty of parking at the main entrance as well. It's just a little bit of a quieter entrance to the park. Over the last couple of years, they've had some fantastic art displays there as well. Very dog friendly, kid friendly, bike friendly, all of the above! Tends to be one of the busier parks, but for good reason.

They were kind enough to give me a tour of the property barns, riding trails and corrals. The horses had lots of room in the corrals and looked very healthy and well treated. We hung out for some time afterward while they answered my questions. Very thoughtful staff who really care for the horses well being.
