Staff stated each person must sign the Family Fun Town liability form electronically. Without it, they can't even remain on the property. We responded "surely my mom and stepdad could sign a paper consent form as they don't want their names and address being used on the internet. We then asked, may we speak to the manager? We again explained all we had discussed. She replied, "we don't have or allow paper consent forms." Followed by "It is what it is". At this point our 5 year old grandson was informed that we must all leave because his two great grandparents do not use the internet and have no email addresses. My concern is that Orange City Florida likely has many individuals whom are not internet trusting or savvy. I found this to be an easily resolvable issue, with unyielding management.

Then switches back on a dime and exveryone is supposed to forget about it. Even if little ones not yelled at, they see this. My child was approached and pressured to join company without consulting with me first, causing a year long rift with my child the next year as the constant performances even at places like country clubs and restaurants did not fit into our family's schedule as we have 2 other kids and their schedules to balance, and added rehearsals week of a showdolls show were too much with school. Plus, i work nights so could not volunteer as the mothers are expected to make it their life too, for no discounts or pay or anything. The instruction was just okay, and the acro in particular was really lame. Way overcrowded and work on the same 4 moves for years. Also, they are laying all over the floor and it's filthy, do not have a cleaning company because it's all about the money there and totally disorganized...lice and athlete's foot run rampant all year. We switched mid year to another studio and it is worth the drive. No mothers expected to work for free, clean as a whistle, no bubbling floors, they pay staff well and teachers are good, more than one show a year without comiting to 'company' and nice people who will not go postal on your kid. Do yourself a favor and RUN! Don't be fooled by proximity when the personalities could damage how your child feels about her talents.

Overall, this skate center was fairly lackluster. I will start by saying the kids had a good time…read moreskating, and the rental skates appeared to be in decent condition, which was a positive. However, from overall experience, it's not likely we will visit any of the locations again since there are others in the area that seem to be overall better experience. Atmosphere wise much of the facility felt dated and poorly maintained. The floor was painted, and flood and walls had noticeable chipped paint. The tables consisted primarily of plastic picnic tables, and the lockers and wall finishes appeared to be made from basic plywood materials. The décor felt mismatched and out of place, with little cohesive theme or atmosphere. Lighting throughout the facility was less-than. Overall it felt very thrown together and minimally up-kept . The overall space felt smaller than expected as well. There did not appear to be any dedicated party rooms or private event spaces, which limits options for hosting birthdays or group events, although not entirely within the control of the business itself, just more of an aside. I did not use the restroom, so I cannot comment on its condition. The food service was particularly disappointing. If you plan to be here during meal times, I would recommend planning ahead, especially on a weeknight. The kitchen did not appear to be fully operational or adequately stocked, and the food quality was below what I would expect from even a typical convenience store. I hate to say as it seems mean, but it's really an honest comparison based on what I saw. Also, food items that were ordered were forgotten, and employees appeared to be trying to locate supplies and determine how to prepare certain menu items or we're focusing on other things entirely. The soda I ordered was clearly not monitored for replacement and was soda water with a hit of syrup. I observed another customer order mozzarella sticks and receive a small cardboard tray that was nearly filled with marinara sauce, which was wasteful at best. My overall impression gave me the feeling that the facility is being operated at the lowest possible cost point. While the skating itself seemed enjoyable for the kids, the lack of investment in the facility, food service, and event accommodations seems likely to limit repeat visits, food sales, and party bookings. There appears to be significant untapped potential if more attention were given to maintenance, presentation, and customer experience. Not sure the market supports the idea of further investment but there seems to be a lot left to want here from a consumer perspective.
