Did a Too Good To Go pick up, which included about 8 cookies. 4 were the blue cookie monster ones, two peppermint, and two others I can't remember. I also got a half dozen cookies since there were a few flavors I wanted to try and I was visiting from Los Angeles. Overall, the cookies are all soft, there were many flavors to choose from, and they were very reasonably priced (15 dollars for half dozen, plus an extra cookie for free). The only thing I didn't really care for was the pumpkin pecan cookie. It tastes more like a gingerbread cookie than pumpkin. Too much spice for me. And while I prefer a cookie that's crispy on the outside, my husband prefers all soft all the time cookies. So I didn't love the texture. read more

The staff were always friendly, the atmosphere inviting, and it quickly became a go-to spot (I first stopped by while visiting SDSU with my cousin for a campus tour). Man oh man! What a delicious spot to grab cookies from! The school year was winding down, and I wanted to get something special for my students. I had them look online and decide which one each student wanted. The ultimate chocolate chip seemed to be a popular choice. I personally liked the lemon bar and salted caramel, oh and a coconut cream pie? But all my students were so happy! The best part was, and it was a surprise, if you buy a dozen, you get two extra! Merry Christmas Eve!! Hungry for some cookies so we ordered through doordash. The person working at the Cravory...put in cookie description cards and wrote some edits on the card. They sold out of the "Christmas Tree," and since they sold out of that flavor they gave us two gingerbread cookies. In addition they gave us 2 of the ultimate chocolate chip cookies because they were baked smaller than usual. I thought the handwritten notes were a lovely touch, felt personal! I tried the "Lump of Coal" which was a chocolate base with Irish cream, dark chocolate truffle, and caramel bits. It was soft and fell apart to the touch. Luckily the opposite of an actual lump of coal! Overall it was a solid and tasty cookie. It went well with hot cocoa. *But talking about the mix ins-- the caramel felt lost. There was no flavor to it, it just stuck to your teeth. It had no chew to it. The Irish cream, tasted like nothing. It had no flavor, what sort of Irish cream is in this? Next up, the gingerbread cookie which was lightly rolled in turbinado sugar! It was lovely and I thought the ginger flavor was going to be really strong, but it was pretty subtle. It also has dark chocolate chunks in it which was an interesting add in choice! A surprise flavor that I enjoyed was Eggnog! It's surprisingly tasty. Went in for some hot chocolate and dessert around 7pm but sadly they didn't have many options left at the end of the day. They don't have a parking lot but I was able to find parking in front of the building. Dylan the person who helped us was really nice and what I really liked about my experience is that they have different milk options. My hot chocolate tasted so good with oat milk! In my opinion it tasted better than regular milk hot chocolate. The place has plenty of seating and it's spacious. I drove out of my way to try them out but I don't think I'll be returning. I'm honestly heartbroken to see that this Cravory location has closed. This spot was such a hidden gem on El Cajon Blvd--convenient, cozy, and always smelled like heaven the moment you walked in. The cookies were absolutely addictive (in the best way possible)--soft, chewy, and packed with creative flavors that you couldn't find anywhere else. Ube, lemon bar, cookie monster... they were all fire. I loved being able to swing by for a quick treat after work or grab a box to surprise my family. I went into this place because i saw all the positive reviews on yelp and had to go try it for myself because i love to be an adventurous foodie. I got to say i was disappointed. Awesome local cookies+ice cream shop! We walked in right before closing so there were some cookies not available but all the classic good ones were. They've also been running out due to Valentine's Day. The employee was so nice and helpful, we decided to order a half dozen (which comes with 7 cookies) which comes to about $15. If you mention you're an sdsu student there is a $2.75 discount on the half dozen! The shop was decorated well and minimalistic. The surrounding outdoor area around the shop is dark and a little old, but then you walk up to the cookie store and it's a lovely little safe haven of light! Now to review the cookies... sorry for the bad pictures but we just wanted to dig in right away :P Chocolate chip - classic, different types of chocolate with hints of sea salt, nice chewy texture. Can't go wrong. Birthday cake - yum!! The size of the sprinkles added a perfect crunch. The cookie flavor itself was a perfectly balanced sugar cookie. Ube - our favorite!!! The texture was perfect, a mix of a cake and a brownie, and the powdered sugar icing complemented the flavors so well. We noticed it became our favorite after the second bite, that's when the subtle ube flavor finally stood out! Lemon bar - very yummy, similar texture to the ube. Had a nice strong lemon zest to it. Also with the powdered sugar icing. Chocolate truffle - pretty good, standard chocolate cookie with a somewhat crunchy icing. Cheese and wine - lol... it kinda tasted more lemony than anything, I guess if you were to really analyze the flavors you'd get some cheese but certainly no wine haha! Good but wouldn't get again. Lemon shortbread - also another favorite! Such a smooth and soft cookie, that texture paired so well with the subtle lemon flavor and then the light icing coating the top. The Cravory has been one of our favorites for years. We've even ordered them for our wedding welcome bags all the way back in 2017 and their quality has not wavered one bit. :) My personal favorites are the cookies and cream milkshake and the birthday cake cookies. During my most recent experience, they provided amazing customer service. They assisted quickly when I had an inquiry regarding a promo I saw online. And when the 6 dozen cookies I ordered for my husband's birthday party appeared to be delayed, I reached out and they quickly responded, offering to have them arranged for storefront pickup in case. Luckily the cookies were delivered on time, but their quick response and generous assistance was very much appreciated. Everyone loved the cookies. I appreciated how they came in individually wrapped and how they're the perfect size. Other places have cookies that are way too large and too rich to consume for one person. I'm glad that I discovered this cookie shop while I was in SD. As soon as I entered the shop, I was greeted with great customer service--which is definitely a plus in my books! Since it was my first time here, the employee who helped me gave me a run down of all of the cookie flavors and which were most popular. This was really helpful and I appreciated it since it helped me narrow down my choices....even though I wanted to try everything lol. This cookie shop offers unique and adventurous cookie flavors and offer new cookie flavors each month. They also offer shipping which is pretty cool and convenient for those who crave their cookies, but aren't living in SD...like me. All of the cookies I tried were all well baked. The staff members are incredibly friendly and explained clearly the set-up of the store and gave great recommendations. You're also able to sample the ice cream flavors before picking one (or two). =RECOMMEND= Half a dozen is $15 while a baker's dozen is $25. *Taro *Ube *Birthday Cake *Macchiato: can be made with a wide selection of milks in which I opted for whole milk. Half and half and almond milk were also given as alternatives. Simple and strong. *Thai Tea: so creamy and addicting. On point tea flavor and I can see this pairing well with an affogato. *Passionfruit: packed with passionfruit flavor and resembled a slushie. Really refreshing fruit option. =SWEETER BUT FUN= *Cookie Monster: super sweet because practically every chocolate went into each bite. *Red Velvet: vanilla chips are super sweet. =PASS= *Pancakes and Bacon: really grainy, almost stale. Too dry overall to enjoy the bacon and maple syrup. I find the cookie quality to be a bit variable like some mentioned, hence the four stars. I discovered this location thanks to a Yelp Elite event. I would see their cookies at different shops around San Diego and didn't know Cravory had it's own bakeshop. My 2 favorite go-to cookies from Cavory is the cookie monster and the birthday cake. The cookie monster dough is vanilla mixed in with white chocolate chips, semisweet chocolate chips, Oreos, mini marshmallows, and caramel bits. The birthday cake is a funfetti cake batter, Guittard vanilla chips, and rainbow sprinkles. Cravory has monthly special flavors. When you buy 6 you get 1 free. When you buy a dozen you get 2 free. Remember to use your Yelp check-in either for a free cookie (it says it on the door) or a free drip coffee it says it on the app. When we are visiting people from out of town I usually gift them with the best sellers mix. I just moved to the area so decided to check out this cookie spot since I love trying new desserts and this place has promising reviews! Food: I tried the cookie monster and German chocolate cake flavors. I definitely felt that the cookies were a bit on the thin and crisp side, I prefer mine chewy. I also thought they had too much going on in terms of flavors, so unfortunately I didn't really enjoy either cookie. But looking at the reviews, it seems like others have had similar experiences with these flavors so maybe I need to try other flavors next time and stick to the simple classics! I love warm cookies so I definitely think it would add to the experience if the cookies are warmed up before serving. The Cravory has always been know for their great cookies, but now at this location, they can also be known for their great coffees and espressos too. I had the young ladies make me a Cafe au Lait which was smooth and delicious. Visited the new shop located in the Rolando/ SDSU college area. They're located on the corner north east corner of Aragon Dr. & El Cajon Blvd. If you're traveling east turn left on Aragon the shop is on the corner. And if you're traveling west it's on your right. There's a little parking in the back but depending on the day plenty of parking across the street in the little strip mall. I was served by Miss Brittany and she was a very pleasant & customer friendly. They cravory has ice cream, coffee & other soft drinks. You can also purchase cookie dough to make at home if you like. I tried the Birthday cake cookie which was tasty. I would've liked mine a little softer so I would warm it up to eat with my mocha coffee made with coconut milk. This was a pleasant treat to end a Monday but I'm sure it would be even better in rising of the . I know there's a shop in Point Loma but I never tried it. Next trip I'll try ice cream & cookie . Found out through the Yelp elite perk that the Cravory had opened a new location near SDSU. Thank you so much for having me! I've been to the Pt. Loma location but don't frequent it often as it's a bit far from me. This location, however, I frequent quite regularly. To get to this location was a bit tricky, I had my phone map on and was heading east on El Cajon. It told me to U-turn at Rolando (stop light). I knew it would be coming up on my right hand side (now I'm headed west on El Cajon), however, I still didn't see a sign but I did see a little plaza area and thought maybe it was in the strip mall where Tokyo sushi loha is. I pulled into the ample parking lot. it was an afternoon weekday. So I made one round in that parking lot and as I was exiting onto aragon drive, I see this Huge cookie wall mural. So I parked in that lot and walked over. It's located on the corner of El Cajon Blvd and Aragon dr. Some street parking but as I said there's also a parking lot next to it. The inside is nice and spacious with some seating. They have cookies, ice cream and beverages like coffee. If you check in on Yelp, you might get a free item. They also use five star rewards program. I got a hazel nut latte over ice w/ almond milk and the "ultimate chocolate chip" cookie. So bomb! The cookie is a bit pricey as it's $2.50ea but the quality of the cookie is really good and they do offer bakers dozen. I forgot the lady's name who helped me but she explained that the cookies on top shelf were the popular ones, I think middle shelf were September specials, and the bottom shelf is like the adventurous out of the ordinary cookies- something like that lol I forgot to take a photo of the ice cream flavors as I didn't get that today. I purchased a voucher from local flavor worth $30. Went in person and ordered a dozen cookies ($22), hot drink ($4.75) and scoop of ice cream ($4.75) totaling $31.5. The employee said i owed $4.75 and not actual difference of $1.5. I inquired on the price as it didn't align with the prices on the screen. There's a huge big billboard sign posted on top of it so you can't miss it. Very wide and spacious inside with tables to sit and eat. They offer some merchandise.. take and bake at home cookies.. coffee.. ice cream. I ordered a cold brew and 1 cookie of every flavor. Total with my free coffee.. free cookie.. and 22 cookies came out to $20. That's a steal!! They pack the cookies in a cute little box. Employees were sweet! Overall, very good experience. I went in today to grab some cookies. I wanted to get half dozen(6). As I was about to pick my 6th flavor, the employee interrupted me and said I had 6 cookies in the box already. She started closing the box. I felt silly but took her word for it. Then I get in the car and on the way home I open the box... there were only five in the box. This is the first Yelp Elite perk for me, so thank you Cravory! It was a bit hard to find for me, since I literally passed by it twice, pulled over right next to it, and still didn't realize I had arrived. They even had a large billboard with an arrow pointed to the store, and I still missed it, oops! It was located on the corner, with a colorful mural on the side. If you hit the plaza with the parking lot, you just passed it. The place was spacious, with many tables inside, but I was the only there besides the lady behind the counter this Tuesday afternoon. I love that they have 20 different flavors of cookies, and there were some really unusual ones like rosemary+balsamic and pancake+bacon and ube, but there were also the classics like red velvet, birthday cake, salted caramel, peanut butter. For $25, you would get a baker's dozen (13), or you could get one for $2.50. Yes, I could not resist and bought a box. It's not bad if you share with your coworkers right? So far I tried the ube and it was absolutely heavenly. So fluffy and crumbly, with just the right level of sweetness. I prefer less sweet desserts (think Asian bakeries instead of American), and this was perfect. I liked that it was not an oversized cookie and one was just enough for me. I also got a cold chai latte with almond milk. Very tasty, but uh maybe it could do with more ice since it was slightly warmer than room temp. No biggie, I brought it home and poured over ice to enjoy. Overall, I really enjoyed my treats, and probably would be back the next time I need to bring some sweets for a party or for the office. However, maybe I don't buy cookies or desserts often enough, but it seemed a little pricey for a relatively small cookie. Located at the corner of El Cajon Blvd and Aragon is a huge building with cookie graphic art plastered on the window. You can't miss it. There are a few parking spaces in the back but I parked across the street in the plaza and walked over. They open super early at 7am until 10pm. The flavors rotate every so often. I got the coffee milkshake and a 12 oz mocha drink. You can also get 16 oz. The coffee milkshake was so good. I love that their cookies are thin, soft and chewy. There are chocolate covered espresso beans but taste like toffee. It has a crunch. The mocha was so-so. Aside from cookies and coffee, they also have ice cream and ice cream cookie cakes! read more

The cookies are amazing! So many flavors to choose from, I have to settle with salted caramel. It was soft and chewy and most importantly not very sweet. I loved how there's many different choice on coffee. They can make it hot or cold for you. Service was also very good. Place is difficult to see at night . The building needs better lighting out front . The building outside is very dated! I was very bummed out that they were sold out of the Ube cookies , it was only 6:15 pm and they close at 10 . So I'm back three days later , If you have the app Fivestars you get offers and or promos . Today is $1 cookies versus $2.50 each . I'm down for $1 cookies ! Unfortunately, on $1 days the Ube cookie is not for sale. I guess I have to come on a non promo day for the Ube cookie , although I am willing to pay regular price for it on a $1 day specially since I'm driving from Bonita . My brother and I stopped by here on our way home from lunch. I'm glad we did! Cookies are delicious! I had traditional chocolate chip, but they had a lot of interesting options including a pancakes & bacon cookie. Other notable options were ube and taro cookies! Ice cream flavors looked good too including a crunchy cappuccino flavor! The girl who helped us was really lovely and welcoming! Overall a really pleasant experience!
