    Fun decor all around!

We had such a fun time painting kitties on a girls night out! Very sweet staff and amazing kitties were the start. We petted as these little angels purred and stole our hearts. Wish I could adopt them all! Very chill vibes as we painted with friendly instructors. 2 hours was adequate for this beginner level painter, but quite a few more experienced/talented folks were down before and went back to spending time with the kitties. Great merchandise: love my shirt and metal sign. Definitely a place worth supporting by visiting, adopting, donating, and/or joining the many creative activities they offer. A must try!

    Cutesy playful cats

Staff was very friendly and helpful about what rooms were available, expectations, rules, and made the tour simple and short. Cats were very friendly and seem properly taken care of. Cutest hour I've spent

I love this place, I have been going to this Catfe for over two years now and love seeing the cats, playing with them, and even seeing them find their homes. The people and ambiance are amazing and it is quite literally cat heaven. They even give little descriptions about each cat's personality and occasionally pass out treats for us to give the cats. I have fallen in love with many cats here, and will continue to do so!

This is the kind of place I love reviewing! UNIQUE: Cafe in the front, kitty kingdom in the back! It's such a happy place for animals and people alike. Serious dopamine rush to start the weekend! INTERACTIVE: Today, a certified teacher led story time for the registered kids, while the adults roamed the uber cute facility, ruled by cats available for adoption. GOOD CAUSE: Proceeds go towards saving and sheltering cats older than a year, generally. LOCAL: The Cozy Catfe is the product of a Texan's love for cats and her husband's limitation on how many they can personally own. CLEAN: It does Not smell like an animal shelter. Even with pre-medication and a mask for her cat allergy, DD wouldn't have made it out in good condition without the Catfe's conscientious cleaning practices. Visit https://www.thecozycatfe.com/ for more events, including their upcoming 1-year anniversary!

Such a cute and welcoming place! The staff was very friendly and informative about all of the cats that are currently staying with them. The catfe also has a small gift shop and cat art for purchase from local artists. When you go your payment includes a beverage and of course cat play time which is what we were mainly there for. There are different rooms the cats are in based upon their comfort with people and the other cats. There are also a bunch of toys to play with them during your time there. My friend and I had so much fun going to all the rooms and meeting the different cats. It was a very therapeutic experience. Before leaving we had to sign their cat wall with our names and a little message :) They have various events with the cats throughout the year like their "Fall painting with cats" if you're wanting a different type of experience for future.

This place is definitely a home away from home!! I go here often because they always have the nicest people there doing tours as well as being helpful. I love that the cats have a cozy place to hang out as well as play. You can tell that they are very well taken care of. The coffee bar is amazing as they have tons of choices. They even have snacks and cold drinks available as well. If you need to destress this is a fun, inexpensive way in doing so and you're also supporting a local nonprofit!!!

We had a great time visiting the kitties here! There were about 10 or 12 cats there awaiting adoption. There are about 4 different rooms, 3 of them smaller with 1 or 2 cats separated from the majority of the cats all in one large room. The employees and volunteers are super friendly and welcoming. They are glad to have you here and visiting the cats. With your entrance fee you get one drink - either a kcup of coffee or tea or a bottle of soda. All of the cats were mostly friendly, although naturally there are a couple that don't want to be bothered. A couple cats were extra lovey and friendly. Making reservations was super easy online. You can also just walk in - we had reservations on a Sunday afternoon and they were not busy. Definitely a really fun place for kids and cat lovers of all ages!!

This place is the best!! They have so many different cats here, some that play and some that will just lay in your lap! The price for an hour is honestly so worth it and you get a drink. Such a relaxing experience and so much fun. I love my cat therapy

    Cute kittens!

I've never been to a cat cafe before but I loved this concept and am impressed by the idea of socializing the cats with people and encouraging adoptions!

We had a situation in middle December, close to Christmas where the shelter ACOs were contacted but their services ended up not being needed. Without hearing the full story regarding the situation or even really being allowed to speak on it, my sister was repeatedly harassed by both ACOs and I guess the police department receptionist? I am just assuming the PD because these people were literally threatening to arrest a pregnant woman and claiming she broke "several laws" which wasn't true. This all took place over the telephone, no one ever giving their name. When my sister was contacted again she asked for someone higher up and they just said "that was a receptionist and they shouldn't have said any of that". These people were intimidating, disrespectful, and severely unprofessional when handling this already traumatic situation. We are residents of this city and regardless of what they THOUGHT the situation was, we were NOT treated with respect nor compassion. I personally will not be using/suggesting GPAS as a resource for this city because they clearly do not see themselves that way. ETA: Almost immediately after updating this review, on the same day my sister was contacted by GPAS once more, after receiving no further updates from them for several weeks. She was told that they have contacted the place where her dog was euthanized and that they have no record of her or the dog. They read off the information including the dogs name which was all incorrect and misspelled. So they are steadily attempting to get information but are completely incapable of taking the information, getting the complete story along with facts, and taking care of this "investigation". I also want to include that they have still yet to reach out to the "victim" of this situation (who is literally our mother that we live with) nor me who works at the place this traumatic event was carried out and finalized per the law. They again threatened over the phone, without giving their name, to "take this higher if we can not close this case". The intimidation continues and I will keep updating this review for as long as this continues to go on.

The receptionist says they "lost" my first report filed on 10/9, and the second report filed on 10/20 has never been serviced!  An animal control officer came out to the property on late October, said no one was home, and she'd give me a call once she did an animal welfare check. SHE NEVER CALLED ME BACK. The field operations manager left me a voicemail on December 15th saying she had been out for the past month, and she was disappointed the call was never serviced. From our perspective, the dog is outdoors 24/7 without shelter, so not taking care of my multiple complaints could potentially lead to injury or death of the dog. It also barks all hours of the day and night, keeping the entire neighborhood up. Not having an animal welfare check done more than two months after my reports is UNACCEPTABLE.

She didn't eat the entire next day either. Took her to the vet where he noted she was underweight, we got her boosters and continued to try and feed her. That night we gave her boiled chicken which she did eat about 1 TBS. Almost immediately threw it up. She continued to throw up the next day and we took her to the ER vet at the advise of the pet store where was purchased and she was diagnosed with Parvo, being underweight (the vet was shocked she checked her weight twice) and being severely dehydrated. (Average number is ~30-40, hers was 98.9) we chose to get her treatment that cost an additional $2,000. We called the store the following morning to let them know so they could decontaminate as well as see what our options were because she came with a 5 day guarantee. They were rude and told us to email Crystal. I did and the only option was to bring her back for a refund or return her and get a new dog. I explained we already sought treatment for her and didn't want to bring her back because we obviously cared for her and getting a new dog from a contaminated store wasn't an option. Crystal stated several times that was the only option and ensured me they would never sell a sick dog and said she was tested prior to being placed in our care but can not give me any documentation proving this. This business is Deceitful and has had other golden retriever puppies that our dog likely came in contact with end up with Parvo as well. They switch dogs store from store creating cross contamination and exposure risk to all their pets. Side note: website states these animals are vet checked but nothing record beyond a printed piece of paper with dates on it. No vaccine lot numbers, no cited vet. NOTHING To their comment about being in a grassy area, we've never had a dog, this is in our own backyard which is a brand new build. I am also attaching a picture of her now that we've gotten her medicine and she can actually keep food down. Scary to see how underweight she was.
