Peaceful Pets picked up our amazing and beautiful fur baby on Monday afternoon, June 15th to have her aquamated. I called Peaceful Pets 3 times on the 15th of June to make arrangements and asked for her favorite towels and toys to be placed in the aquamation machine with her. They told us that they can be placed into the machine with her, but they will not dissolve. We understood that and asked if they could just place those items in the machine with her at least. They agreed to do this. We asked for the towels and toys to be returned to us so we could put those items (wet or dry did not matter) on the shelf alongside her urn. 2 of the Ladies that answered the phone when we made the arrangements added those wishes into the notes in the computer (bold and larger fonts). 3 times I called to make sure the notes were in the system for the people in the back to see who were doing the aquamation. 3 times I was told that the notes were in it. We even took the most expensive package they offered and chose a different urn than the one that was in that package. We chose one that looked like a White Angel Bear with Wings (our fur baby was a longhair domestic baby who looked like a Persian). My husband always said that she looked like a little Teddy Bear, that is the reason we chose the Angel Bear Urn. When we received her urn back that Friday, June 19th, 2026, we noticed that her towels and favorite toys were not in the bags we received back from Peaceful Pets. I called them and asked them about those and where they were. I was told that the towels and her favorite toys were thrown away like trash. The arrangements and our last wishes were ignored completely and basically overflown when they read what was in the system. HOW CAN THIS BE OVERFFLOWN WHEN IT IS BOLD AND WAS WRITTEN WITH A LARGER FONT????? This is completely unacceptable!!!!!!!! We are so hurt by this. First, we lost our beloved fur baby completely unexpectedly and then our last wishes were ignored like they did not matter. We wanted those things back because they belonged to our fur baby and NOT Peaceful Pets! Those were not Peaceful Pets things to do with what they felt should be done with them (throwing them away like trash). Those were supposed to be put onto the shrine we created. Those were her and our last wishes! We were also told TWICE that someone from Peaceful Pets would call us back to explain how this could have happened. Well!!! WE ARE STILL WAITING ON THAT CALL (FOR THE LAST 5 WEEKS)! Peaceful Pets does not care at all. We even took the largest package they had, which was the Platinum Private Package because our fur baby meant the world to US!!! We did not put the toys in there with her because our "Trashcan" was full or we did not have any other way of disposing those!!! THOSE WERE HER TOWELS AND TOYS, AND NOT PEACEFUL PETS THINGS! And again, there was no phone call from the Supervisor explaining how this could have happened after we were told on June 19th that those items were disposed of by the people doing the aquamation. We called Peaceful Pets again 2 times a week later and were again told that we would receive a call from the Supervisor about how and why this happened. Again, that was 5+ weeks ago. Still no phone call. They care about the money but not about the fur-babies they are supposed to take care of during the aquamation process. On their website, it states: "We will care about your fur baby like we would our own"! If they care about other grieving pet parents' babies like they do their own, I feel very sorry for their pets! Those people who did this do not have any business working at an aquamation or cremation for pet company! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! We are still very hurt and very angry. We trusted our fur baby to Peaceful Pets DFW in Arlington, TX and now would not even bring a plant to them to be re-planted! Absolutely horrible Aquamation Place!!!!!!!!!! read more

Peaceful Pets failed me and more importantly, they failed my dog during one of the most painful moments of my life. I entrusted them with her aftercare, paid in full, and went above and beyond to make sure everything would be handled correctly. I called multiple times, sent messages, and even drove 45 minutes in person to clearly communicate my instructions, making sure her after life care was perfect. Nothing was vague. Nothing was left to assumption. I gave two simple, explicit directives: Save fur clippings from both her white fur AND a distinct brown/brindle patch that made her unique and unforgettable to me and do Not proceed with the cremation process without calling me first. They ignored both. They moved forward without contacting me and failed to preserve the brindle fur I specifically and repeatedly asked for. That decision is irreversible. There is no redo, no correction, and no way to get that piece of her back. Their explanation? Their "system was down." That is not an excuse, it is negligence. If your system is down, you do Not proceed with a permanent, irreversible process without verifying instructions. That is basic responsibility, especially in a business that handles people's beloved pets. What is even more disturbing is how this was handled afterward. Instead of accountability or genuine compassion, I was met with defensiveness, dismissiveness, and a complete lack of empathy by the manager on the shift of Tuesday July 7th. Believe his name is Mike. Any apology felt forced and only came after I had to push for it. This was Not just a service. This was my dog, my family. I showed up, I advocated, and I trusted them to do their job with care. They failed at a fundamental level. I paid for a service that was Not carried out as instructed. I expect a refund, along with real accountability, Not excuses. The owners has Not reached out hoping he does. I was given a name by "Nathan" to be the owner but from what I see the name is "Robert" idk what more lies they will tell. If you are considering Peaceful Pets, understand this: you can do everything right as a client, repeat your instructions, confirm in person, follow up multiple times and still be left with irreversible mistakes and no meaningful accountability. That is not a risk anyone should have to take when it comes to their family. read more

While it is a pet parent's worst nightmare to have to say goodbye to their baby, the staff at Peaceful Pets DFW was amazing. My baby Casper passed away on Sunday and we were able to make an appointment to come in Monday as they closed about 5 minutes after I called (grief has you not paying attention to those things). Our cats have a dog door that they use to go outside in the backyard at their leisure. Casper hated the thing and always made us open the back door for him. I found him outside in the backyard in the morning after letting him inside the night prior, leading us to believe he conquered his fear of the dog door to pass away peacefully in the yard watching the sunrise as evidence does not point to anything else. Since he passed outside and was not found for a couple hours, his stomach was not very pretty when he was found (thanks vultures for permanently scaring me). I say all of this to say that Peaceful Pets DFW fixed him up and covered him so that I could say goodbye. They were incredibly patient and kind, never pressured us to purchase anything we did not want to, and closed up shop for a moment so I could say goodbye to my baby. I cannot thank them enough for their kind words, their emotional regulation while I was sobbing on the phone making the appt, and that they offer aquamation which saves the environment but still allows me to bring my baby home. To the employee who worked Easter and took my call at almost 4pm on 4/5 and the employee that assisted me at 8:30AM 4/6, thank you thank you thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and understanding. No one wants to need pet cremation services, but that makes it even more important to work with a good place when you do. My kid recently lost his little conure unexpectedly - the sweetest, silliest, best little dude full of personality. Parrots are good company, and he was one of the fam. It hit especially hard because, as my kid said, "he was supposed to meet my kids, we should have had 20 years together". Given all that, he was not okay with a backyard funeral or other kind of burial - he wanted to have him near. I start researching our options, and I learn about aquamation - essentially the same end result as being cremated, but done in liquid instead of fire. It is way less environmentally damaging, and just seemed right for us as soon as I read about it. These folks are so kind, so understanding, and so accommodating. We were a mess, but it was comforting to leave our little guy with a very empathetic person who showed us a great deal of kindness while being completely professional. The price is very reasonable, much less than I would have expected (pricing is by weight, which makes sense). There are urn options, if you wish to add that in, but there was zero pressure to do so when we declined (my kid likes to build things, so he will make him a little box himself). Best decision I made for my sweet girl Cocoa was to put her in the good hands of Peaceful pets, I was away on vacation when my poor Cocoa passed away, getting the bad news was so devastating for me I didn't want animal control to take her because they were going to dispose of her , I immediately started looking online and came across Peaceful Pets, Lupe was so helpful assuring me they would take care of my Cocoa, her kind words soothed me so much, I a few hrs after finding out the bad news someone from Peaceful Pets was picking her up, and that gave me so much peace in a time of grieving, and feeling hopeless being so far away, Lupe and her staff took care of things for me and I am so grateful places like that and people like Lupe and staff exist , the memorial Urns are beautiful, Peaceful Pets made things easy for me, they are kind and very professional you will not regret putting your fur babies in their hands. read more

I never in a million years expected to lose my precious puppy the way I did. My Jack Russell (Toby) and my dachshund/pekingese (Zeke) was bit by a rattlesnake. I was clueless where to go or what to do, I just recently moved here, so I called Peaceful Pets after seeking advice on facebook. The ladies and a gentleman at Peaceful Pets helped me through this tragedy of losing my baby, and preparing for the loss of my other little guy if that occurred. It's never easy to plan this stuff! Peaceful Pets personnel were extremely caring from the 1st call I made thru my picking up my pet, Napa's remains. Cheyenne and Lupe were kind, professional and supportive each encounter I had with them either by phone or in person. Both of them were respectful and gentle with Napa' s body when I took her in and when I picked up her remains. Additionally, I appreciated their working with me as I needed to reschedule my appointments due to personal issues including my getting lost when I took Napa and when I picked up her ashes. I can't say enough about how amazing and caring this crew is. They were very personable and easy to talk to, and completely understanding of our ( what I considered) unusual situation. My cat had passed away several years prior, but at the time I couldn't afford to get him cremated, so he was safely sealed and boxed in my freezer until I could. Our homes power died, and would be off for a significant amount of time, and I realized I could finally afford to get him processed, so we got in touch with Peaceful Pets to get him taken care of. The staff there was very helpful for me to make my decision Between cremation Vs aquamation. They are Very kind and compassionate. I had my (feline)Monet for 13 years. My daughter's pet snake passed away. Even though it was small they were still able to aqua cremated it. The staff was very thoughtful and caring while talking is threw the process. Thay handle him with care and was considerate With my daughters feelings. I thought it was very thoughtful of the staff to treat the snake the same as a dog or cat show us respect for her pet snake .
