You really have to be patient it can take hours trawling through the racks of clothes as nothing is really in the right order and if you do find somethign in one size you like - there is absolutely no guarantee that you will find it ever again let alone in a different size! It's like a dream world of wonderfulness. Now I don't think this is a fancy dress shop, but they do sell a lot of fancy dress. I just think that the people who work here and their regular shoppers think it's quite normal to walk around London wearing cat ears. I popped in to grab some bits for halloween and for £20 walked away with a bag of goodies that will ensure I'm all fright on the night! It's not cheap, but I've seen pricer. My favourite lines are "Boys are stupid, throw rocks at them." "Come to the dark side - we have cookies!" and "Spooning leads to forking." The graphics are so cute and the taglines are so funny. I don't fit into most of the clothes here, so it's a bit hit and miss - the "L" pants are made to fit a size 8 (US) and even the XL sized T-shirts are tricky because they shrink down a size when they are washed. If you use your dryer to dry your laundry (i.e. North American tourist), definitely buy a size up because all of their cotton shirts and PJ pants will shrink. If you're a UK-er who uses a laundry rack to dry most things, then that isn't necessary. There are lots of cute t-shirts (usually on sale) in the basement. If you're in Soho, check this store out.

I found the store to be too crammed it was hard to walk around the store without approaching a seat for trying shoes on, or a stand - one would argue this is good as it is offering a wider product range, but I surely don't understand why they need to do this - they have multiple floors and don't need to cram everything into a small space as one would expect from a smaller store - they really do need to take hints from Sports Direct nearby who have a reputation for this but the huge nearby flagship store they have nearby is much more modern, spacious and in my opinion makes it a much better place to shop, especially at peak times. The staff seemed rush and struggling even when the store wasn't that busy - it wasn't the staffing levels too which is puzzling, they had enough staff members to cope fine but it didn't seem to work. I'd even say the smaller branch they have is much better and still sells most of the same items you do here and this branch being a huge store in a flagship, key Oxford Street location is a waste. 1*

I walked in and I couldn't believe how many of the thing I seriously wanted buy. Most of my time I spent in the basement, where they had nice sale going on - 40% off! I ended up buying a pair of beige trousers, with and unusual but very stylish cut. I also bought a jacket, which - again - convinced me because of the unusual cut. Very cool store indeed...need to make sure I'm not walking down Chiltern Street too many times ;-) or else my wallet will suffer too much damage!

As an American, I loved seeing T.K. Maxx in person!…read more I knew that T.J. Maxx in the UK is called T.K. Maxx, and I was so excited to finally see it with my own eyes. The assortment of inventory is very different compared to the US, and honestly, it's not as good LOL. Also, if anyone knows the "No tag" rule at all TJX Company stores in the US. Whenever you would like to purchase something that doesn't have a tag, they try to give you the best possible price for an item that's comparable to the item. The same thing happened to me with a bracelet, and they tried to charge me 15 pounds for a bracelet that's worth 4. There were many cheaper ones all around, but of course they picked the most expensive one. . . I had to drop a star for that, but otherwise it was a cool touristy experience.

Paul Smith makes socks of all colors mostly stripes which Paul Smith is known for. Coming to fashion accidently, this British designer opened a shop in 1970 and is now know as one of the pre-eminent designers in the fashion world today. I like the clothes her makes but they are a bit pricey. So I stick to socks and an occasional belt, scarf, or gloves. And the store is pretty cool in and of itself, Check it out.
