Many relators would not invest this sort of time but Zach was diligent, tempered and excited to hit the streets. His energy was needed, as there were many times I became discouraged with the current supply on the market and the amount of time we'd spent looking. Zach reassured me this was a very normal feeling (he and his wife looked at close to 60 places) and helped me stay motivated. In the fall of 2016 we were prospective first-time homebuyers in search of an agent and finding an ideal fit was something of a research project: I was soon referred to Ryan by a professional in the real estate business, however, who emphasized his diligence, intelligence, and knowledge of Denver's market. I was also told that he had previously worked as a civil engineer and shared my analytical bent of mind. So I decided to meet with him and, ultimately, work with him. We were seeking a quaint historical home in close proximity to downtown Denver, during a seller's market with low inventory. The handful of houses that came on the market in our ideal location and price range were moving fast, and Ryan and his team were responsive to our requests, helping us tour homes as quickly as possible and, eventually, make an offer and close on our first home. As we were hoping for the charm of an older home (which occasionally come with minor and major imperfections), Ryan's engineering background and familiarity with Denver's housing stock was a great benefit, particularly while touring homes and during the inspection process.
