TLDR $5K job became a $10K job…read more 0 communication. Misquoted time. Misquoted price. They do not care about you and won't talk to you. They quoted 3 days and that turned into 5 months. They quoted $5000 and that turned into $10K. They forgot about our liner and forgot it arrived. Now for the rest of the story: Bought a new house and chose them since they maintained the pool already. Liner was in tatters, pipes were broken and sealed off. Even the ladder was detached. Should have known just by the state of things AC pools were bad, but first time pool owner here. They come out many times and are baffled by how bad the pool is, again they were the previous maintainers, but ok Im a first time pool owner. Finally at the end of the season "discover" a massive hole under the stairs. They tell us that replacing the liner is just over $5K and will take 3 days. They offered $1000 off since we had been through so much, at that point we are still trusting them. Next year comes around and they tell us oh yeah we have to order the liner and that will take a month or two then we'll get to it when we are ready. 3 days became 1.5 months at best. Linner is ordered then 1 week later we are told the liner we chose is not available. Probably because they got a discount and wanted to pocket the difference. How could I know because there is no communication? Had to order whatever discount liner offered. Called several weeks after the liner was supposed to arrive and we were told oh yea that's been here for a week, we'll get to you when we get to you. At this point we are furious over being lied to about the times, being forgotten about and the lack of communication. They come several weeks later and wouldn't you know it we need a $3500 fix that they can't work around and another $3500 fix that they can ignore, but as of writing this should not have been ignored. 1 Week for them to play around. 1 week for their money laundering operation to do their thing, no reinforcement, no real improvement, extra slippage though. +$3500 Now they are going to wait a week. 3 days quickly became F-YOU. Finally they installed the liner, garbage work. Used MY own wagon to hold the refuse. They just used a knife to cut away the intace that they left. Couldn't upsell me on the next one so they just left it off. Finally they badly install a bad liner and don't even open the pool. Again new owners and they just tell us oh add chlorine and salt. The guy doesn't even speak English clearly, he speaks english you'd assume and avoids us because he is a scared baby. We go to Leslie's pool supply over the course of a couple of days and they do all they can to help us.

I, as I am sure the rest of the 100's of residents that reside in the apartment complex, checks on progress weekly. Most of the time the 2-3 workers are texting or talking on their phone, hunkered down in the shade or sitting on the front of the backhoe (a Saturday on OT I am sure). If there happens to be 6-7 men...only 2-3 are actually working with the other's standing around. I would think there would be a Supervisor or Foreman out during the day to make sure things were moving along. I would never recommend this company to my friends and relatives that own a pool.

I was on a job site up in St Joe and my pull cord on my Stihl blower broke. I had called all around…read morelooking for the entire assembly and was striking out left and right. Finally I just googled Stihl dealer near me. Family Center Farm and Home popped up. At this point, what's one more turn down. They pick up, I ask to be transferred to the Stihl department. A fine gentleman named RJ answers the phone. I explain to him what's going on and that I have no luck restringing my pull start. After a minute of witty banter back and forth, he said if I can get there before he leaves for the day, he will take care of me. I shut the job down on time and hauled ass the 4 minutes away and carried it in to RJ and he did just that, he took care of me. Both him and Uncle Randy were very nice, cool, and I loved shooting the breeze while RJ took care of my blower for me. I cannot thank him enough, he saved my ass! If I am ever back up in St Joe and need something, Family Center Farm and Home is my first stop.
